As the latest fourth chapter of my book “AMANDI: The Secret Messenger” rolls out tomorrow, here’s a bunch of fanart I’ve made to help me overcome writer’s block.

Remember how Ryoko Kui tend draw her characters in modern settings to establish their personalities? I kind of find that helpful, too. I often think about my characters and imagine them doing random stuff (sometimes it involves what I do in real life).

By the way, the images above are something I thought about if Dungeon Meshi was an edgier show on Adult Swim where Kabru and his friends hunt down monsters. He would be like Michael Myers from “Halloween” who can appear out of nowhere and kill them instantly. Laios gets chased down by Kabru a lot for pissing him off.

I was thinking of having “Cure 4 Psycho” by the Australian band RedHook as one of the main theme song for the show.
