Is this AI art?

(For context, I love the author of this book and I believe he hired a real person to make this art with their own two hands, and as far as I'm aware, he didn't request something ai generated PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG)

It's the book cover of one my favorite books, Dungeon Life, but it looks Ai generated ever since I looked at it. The most glaringly obvious ai-ish thing about it is the mystery object underneath the big spider. A web? A cushion? Steps??

The next thing is the webs under the arch. They don't look like spider webs to me. The shaping is odd and weirdly straight.

Better evidence is the weird triangle architecture things circled in light blue. If the illustrator meant to show architecture it should be identical and stone like, as the rest of the material is stone like. However, one, on the right, appears to look like cloth and is shorter while the other is rigid. If they meant to portray the triangle things as damaged then it would've been much more clearly broken off at the end instead of... Cloth.

The tiles circled in red are just straight up tiled weirdly. Inconsistently spaced for no apparent reason.

The last point is just as iffy as the webs under the arch. The chair? Cushion on legs? Circled in purple is weirdly lopsided. Similarly the pots next to it are for some reason sitting on two separate circular extensions from the wall. Why does that exist? That's not normal. Maybe a normal, long, continuous square counter on which the pots are on would've made sense- but not... That.

The artist is Istvan Straban. Is he just an AI artist? I couldn't figure out that answer while looking that up. I'm sorry if this offended anyone.

To claim there are no predators is both ignorant and dangerous!

Mankind is an invasive species in the cubicle world of offices and harsh fluorescent lighting. We didn't evolve for that kind of environment! We've got no predators there, so we'll breed* out of control and the overall herd health will take a nosedive! We need to capture these poor "workers" and reintroduce them back to their native environments, ASAP.
