The Judge approahed from behind, gently wrapping his arms around his waist and leaning in to whisper in his ear. "Happy birthday, Lune." Minos said in a soft tone, rarely used with anyone else but the Balrog. "I have a gift for you."

Minos was gracefully silent as ever. Even Lune failed to detect his presence until Minos’s arms were around his waist. A brief yet ticklish gasp escaped from Lune. 

“Thank you, my lord.” 

He answered just as quietly. But he did take his attention off the work in front of him, for once.

“What gift would that be?”

“Minos-sama, I think we might be facing a little--” With a frown, the specter paused in his statement at the word, mouth twisted in rage beneath his mask. He was about to punch a wall at this point but had to hold back not to draw any attention on him. That did not sound right...

Coming out of his hiding spot, the banshee was pacing back and fourth across the hallways of Ptolomea, knowing that no one but a bunch of Skeletons would be around at the time. Thinking about the speech he was trying to prepare for the judge, who was he trying to fool with his ‘we’. That problem was nobody else’s but his. If anything, the only thing the Griffon would care about was if he was still capable of performing his task... and was he? 

The Celestial did not put this new appearance to the test, he was scared.... too scared to try anything. What if he could not... At the slightest noise, the banshee withdrew from the hallway and back to hiding behind a pillar, looking at the passersby. Just a couple of Skeletons gossiping together. A sigh of relief escaped him before he turned his gaze to the imposing gates.... he would have to go at some point. At first he had thought of sending a messenger, but it was probably better for him to speak to his lord and try to defend his case. Pretend it was not going to change anything, Emer had assured him it would not but he was still afraid of what kind of reaction he might get.

Soon, people would begin to wonder why he was not where he was expected to be so... with a deep breath, he came out once more to walk behind the two skeletons. After trying to gather some confidence and act as if nothing was wrong, he called for them, attempting to sound as firm as possible. Both turned around at the same time to stare at him, scythes resting against their shoulder and still even once they saw him. 

When he ordered them to let Minos know of his presence and his demand for an audience, all they could was.. laugh at his face, not even bothering to brandish their scythe against him. Gritting his teeth, he did not was to make a fuss, both were probably being noisy enough to get the three of them noticed but he wanted to scream so badly, Emer wanted to defend his honor as well, he had to keep her quiet not to get into more troubles. Did they not recognize him or was it just one more excuse to mock him.

That sounded like a good plan, one he already had in mind before the Griffon would mention it. For this specific crime, it was a common punishment in many places after all, one he was very familiar with for inflicting it many times before. But the bigger question was: Would it be acceptable.

“Nothing to worry about, my lord. That which was taken will soon be returned...” Words were spoken with much confidence, his head lowering a bit more. "I’d need to deal with the matter by myself but, I might need your permission since the culprit could be of another division”

:: it’s from an ova called demon lord dante! it was the original devilman until the author decided to rewrite it and change the characters/plot around... i havent watched demon lord dante tbh but devilman is REALLY GOOD (plus it’s where the faces/death masks idea for DM comes from >:3c)

  Com um grande pesar ela se colocou defronte a ele, fazendo a exuberante diferença de altura entre ambos ser notada. Não que isso representasse algo, não era incomum ter de erguer o rosto para conseguir falar olhando nos olhos de muitos. Intrigante e preocupante, não conseguia definir a identidade do outro, humano, vampiro, bruxo, demônio… A mente não era capaz de produzir qualquer informação referente a ele.
