Björk’s Homogenic: I’m a fountain of blood in the shape of a girl. Homogenic is the third studio album by Icelandic musician Björk. The 1997 album is a masterpiece of experimental and electronic music, seamlessly blending orchestral elements with electronic beats, and showcasing Björk's defining, haunting vocals and avant-garde songwriting. Homogenic is a journey as much as it is a record, exploring themes of love, vulnerability, and national identity, drawing inspiration from Björk's Icelandic roots. Tracks like Jóga and Bachelorette are not only sonically innovative but also emotionally resonant, adding to the album’s visceral listening experience. This critically acclaimed work solidified Björk's reputation as a visionary artist who continually pushes the boundaries of music and remains a milestone in the electronic and experimental music landscape.
The PlayStation DualShock Controller: Did you just feel that? The DualShock controller is a gaming accessory that has been a staple of Sony's consoles since its introduction in 1997. Renowned for its ergonomic design, the controller features a distinctive shape with comfortable handgrips, two analog thumbsticks, a D-pad, four action buttons, four shoulder buttons, and a pair of vibration motors. The inclusion of two analog sticks revolutionized console gaming, enabling more precise and immersive control in 3D environments. The DualShock name comes from the controller's ability to provide haptic feedback, allowing players to feel vibrations and tactile sensations that enhance gameplay immersion. Over the years, the DualShock controller has evolved and undergone refinements, but its design and functionality have made it a symbol of PlayStation and a beloved accessory for gamers worldwide.

the funniest thing just happened to me in hogwarts legacy????
so i just learned the avada kedavra spell in Hogwarts Legacy and i decided to try it out in a boss fight of all things.
right after i use it my dualshock just stops responding completely (i play on pc) and i end up dying. this has never happened before.
at first i thought like “wait does the game punish you for using the killing curse???” but after looking it up and seeing that there is no penalty for using it i genuinely don’t know what caused it
why did it do that??????

In this hypothetical, the prosthetics are detachable, able to easily be modified or repaired, even customized for visual or fucntional preferences.
Getting them is about as safe as any other major surgery; certain amount of risk, yadda yadda. There's more details that would sway an answer, if this were something currently going on -- like the cost, can you sub out these prosthetics if they ever halt production, do you need medication to retain them, blah blah-- but, here? This is wish fulfillment. If you have something that hurts, or you wish you could just fix or swap out, you get to have it, just this once.

Fallout: You're hearing the crackle of the radio as you read this, aren't you? The first Fallout game, released in 1997 by Interplay Entertainment is a classic isometric role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by nuclear war. Players assume the role of the Vault Dweller, tasked with venturing out into the irradiated wasteland to find a water purification chip to save their underground home, Vault 13. The game is characterized by its dark and gritty atmosphere, rich storytelling, and morally complex choices. Its turn-based combat system and character development through the SPECIAL system (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck) were innovative for the time. Fallout's retro-futuristic aesthetic, intricate world-building, and mature themes garnered critical acclaim and laid the foundation for one of the most beloved franchises in gaming.

why would I emulate SH1 when I could just dust off my PS1 and play it on that. like yeah it's so old that it's barely working and prone to near-gamebreaking graphical and audio glitches, but that just adds to the atmosphere. the fact that it's always just moments from crashing really ratchets up the tension.

hey remember when i was complaining about my ps4 controller just not working with frontiers when it did in the past? yeah it was a steam thing. i randomly clicked on the controller symbol on the game's page and found out that steam has defaulted to disabling steam input on at least some of my games which means that unless they natively support a dualshock or whatever it's just not gonna work without ds4windows that spoofs it into a xbox controller. my controller works now. i despise steam more by the minute
