Thinking about the fact that Zuko has had every possible hairstyle Katara could have ever been into (from bald to long hair). He wields dual swords like Jet. He is a powerful bender as the fortune teller intended. He acts as a "vigilante of sorts" like Jet did. He can be a puppy like Haru. He can be a badass like Jet. Truly the most versatile ever. He's the 1000 in 1 boyfriend fr.
Not to mention the parallels with her ofc, if we're going to consider Blue Spirit x Painted Lady shenanigans, the mommy issues, the dry sense of humor, the nerdiness, the sense of responsibility... All things that match Her regardless of her possible interests in romantic partners. It's just too amusing to me.
My dude was truly dedicated to the cause. I salute him.

A/N: You all voted on this poll, and this poll, and this poll, and after a LOT of voting, I present you this :) BIG thanks to @that-multi-fandom-hijabi for beta reading this go follow her writing acc rn (@novaaaaaa-writes). Here's my masterlist!
Warning(s): Enemies to lovers trope, mentions of burning, stabbing, blood, bad descriptions of both fire of water (ice, snow ?) bending, Zuko is whipped, just a little confused about it, reader is a baddie, water benders unite (not me tho), reader is GN but written with f!reader in mind, reader looks non-threatening, is underestimated a lot, this takes place at the end of season one, I think that's it
Pairing: Prince Zuko x GN!Reader
Tumblr media
•──•°•❀•°•─── ʜɪꜱ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀʙᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ───•°•☁︎•°•───•
“You shouldn’t be here” you glare, your gaze sending shivers down his spine.
But that could just be because of all the snow and ice surrounding the both of you.
The fire prince remains unfazed though, his amber eyes sweeping over your form- assessing the threat you posed.
He could take you down in seconds.
Zuko doesn’t respond to your jab though, because he knew you were wrong. He had to be here, it was the only way he could finally receive his father’s favor- as the heir and as the son of Firelord Ozai. It was his duty, his honor.
And he wasn’t going to let a non-threatening waterbender get in the way of that.
Reaching back, he unsheathes his dual swords, the glint of the waning moonlight reflecting the dangerous glint in his eye.
And yet you didn’t back down.
Pooling some water from your waterskin, you assumed the stance you had trained yourself to take whenever you honed your skills. One with the water, one with the ice.
‘Power should flow, not force itself” Master Pakku had told you once.
People had always underestimated your skills, saying you were better suited for healing. But after showing Master Pakku how you could use your bending to control the falling snow around you, he gave you a chance.
He had told you to let the power settle in your body before releasing, instead of forcing it out immediately. Conceal and then control.
You met Zuko’s fiery gaze with an icy one of your own. You were going to protect your home.
With a yell, you form flurries of snow, whipping around your form as you channel your strength to change the form of your flurry, snow turning to water, water turning to sharp daggers of pure ice.
Zuko scowls, setting his hands ablaze and you run at each other, fire meeting ice.
Time slows down, as the intensity of your elements picks up, until all you could hear was the steady thump – thump – thump – of your heart, and the roar of crystalline knives swirling around you.
Flames lick the side of your leg, wincing as the raw burn of the fire sears through your skin in white-hot pain. Razor sharp icy shards cut into Zuko’s skin, finding chinks in his armor, piercing his flesh and drawing blood.
The snow beneath the both of you was dotted red now, both of you staring at each other, panting heavily.
“You really shouldn’t be here.” you repeat again, but this time, it was barely a whisper, swallowing down tears as the cold wind of the Northern Water Tribe stung your gaping wounds.
Zuko growls, grunting in pain as he pulls a shard of ice out of his skin.“I don’t take orders from a little waterbender” he spat, venom dripping from his words.
You reciprocate with a snide comment of your own. “This ‘little waterbender’ just sunk 5 icicles into your skin.”
Zuko was just about ready to tear your head off, hands igniting with vermillion flames before you collapse, the burns along your thigh and calf were much more severe than either of you realized.
You choke out a sob of pain but keep your control of the water left in your waterskin. You couldn’t die, not today, and not at the hands of the prince of the Fire Nation.
Zuko’s heart throbs unexpectedly, the look on your face too familiar for comfort. The face of someone who worked so desperately hard, only for all that effort to go down the drain. But he didn’t care for you. He couldn’t- couldn’t grow attachment to a non-threatening waterbender. Yet you sat there on the snow, dotted with blood, with that raw look in your eyes. His flames extinguished, without him meaning to.
You flinched as he threw his swords down frustrated, impaling themselves into the nearby snow mound, standing straight up.
He stomps over to you, and you frantically move back, but your leg flares up in pain again, and you yelp, hissing in pain.
“Stop moving, you’ll make it worse.” he says, glaring at you, but not as intensely as he had before.
You want to scream, kick him, punch him, anything, but your body betrays you as he sweeps you up into his arms, carrying you to the nearest place he can find, where he can keep you safe. You feel his strong arms hook under your knees and under your back, holding you securely to his firm chest. Even through his armor, he radiates warmth, a gentle heat, unlike the flames he threw at you merely minutes ago.
He hates this, with every fiber in my being, his voice screaming at him to drop you and burn your frail body to a crisp, vengeance for the blood dripping from his own body, but he keeps moving, step after painstaking step.
You try to stay awake, you really do, yet channeling so much energy from your battle, the numb throb in your lower leg, and the comforting heat radiating off the fire prince who refuses to look at you, you slip into unconsciousness.
Zuko feels a weight press against his chest, and he huffs, honey-colored eyes catching onto the details of your face, the curve of your nose, the apples of your cheeks, the slight pout of your lips as you nuzzle into his armor unintentionally, how pretty you were when you were at peace.
He stops himself there, reprimanding himself for thinking such things. He can’t have feelings for the enemy.
And yet, even as he and his troops head home, battle wearing and dejected from the loss of a major battle, Zuko can’t help but think about his little waterbender.
***
When you wake up, the kind woman tending to you tells you all about the mysterious and handsome man who carried your sleeping form across the entire Northern Water Tribe because he didn’t know where the healing center was.

(intelectually i understand that the quotes are only for ilustration and not actually where the fbomb shouldve been said, but please excuse me while i talk about them as if they are the suggested placement of the fbomb)
see if we only get one per the whole thing it either has to be really good somewhere in the middle or at the end. as much as i love "its not going to be much of a fucking match" and especially "I DONT NEED ANY FUCKING CALMING TEA" their fault lies with it being either too outta pocket or literally in the first episode. which only inspires the a vision of watching the last episode end credits and then being like "magnificent... what the fuck was up w that one f-bomb in season 1 doe"
i suppose an adult dropping it would make more sense but well from the presented options while iroh's one makes me wheeze, i do not think he has that dog in him. and well bumi is a whopsie-daisy sorta guy
so the issue with it being one of the kids is it would have to be funny. if it wasnt funny but just a way the character speaks then that would bring up the question of why didnt they swear before, theyve been in quite the serious pickles before this, why didnt they warant swearing? so. the answer is technically anyone, if they(the writers) could justify the fbomb with the quality of the joke.
all that being said the real answer of toph. she would. she so would.

CAT BOY YEEHAW!!!
i fucking love his design, it's so cool & swag, i hope you agree. 👉👈
OK so allow me to ramble:
Two tails, because I think that's cool af & I love when animal deity's have like extra eyes, tails, horns, wings, etc.
Choker w/ a lil chain detail; although I think he would more likely hate it cuz after being chained for 1000+ years, would you really wanna wear more chains?? HOWEVER, counterpoint, it looks sick af. I rest my case, your honour.
Cold shoulder sleeved shirt cuz, again, it looks sick af.
WEAPONS: so obviously, the God of Death NEEDS a scythe. However, I used to have a character who had a weapon that was basically two mini scythes chained together; I recently learned that this weapon has a name!! It's called a kusarigama (more specifically, a dual kusarigama), & it looks cool, I like it. I like the idea that he can basically summon his weapons from his blood (practical? not really. cool? yes.), so he can switch between the scythe & kusarigama no prob. Side note, if we applied the rules of Avatar: Last Airbender, he would be a water-bender; more specifically, a blood-bender. Cuz OF COURSE he would be, don't argue, council has spoken. (NOTE: I know they're technically sickles, not mini scythes, but I don't care enough to go back & edit it for the 100th time.)
I think his combat-style would be more stealth & agility, as well as magic. I don't think he would be the most physically strong of the bishops (that spot is reserved for dear Heket >:3).
When first indoctrinated (post-battle), I imagine he would have a hard time with things like fine motor skills, walking, etc. cuz he hasn't really used his limbs for over a thousand years now. I also think even after he's kind of recovered, he'd still have chronic joint pain & issues like that. On top of that, I imagine for awhile he would experience some degree of hallucinations & nightmares, as prolonged isolation & solitary confinement can leave a lot of cognitive & psychological damage. In his god form, he wouldn't be as affected by it, but after being knocked down into a more mortal form, the effects of it would grab him by the throat & throttle him around like a ragdoll.
I'm absolutely projecting here... bro has gotta have hella abandonment & trust issues. Is being betrayed & locked away in the afterlife by your own family not the ultimate form of abandonment?? i cast mental illness on him, case closed.
The breed of cat I based him off of is a maine coon; a) fluffy cat :3, b) LARGE fluffy cat. He is indeed a large cat so it makes sense to me. :P
Ok ramble done for now, pls enjoy. UwU

I think it's implied that Azula started firebending before Zuko did, and not even just that Zuko started at a later age than Azula. If Azula 5 or 6 in the flashback in Azula in the Spirit Temple when she first starts firebending, then I think Zuko hadn't started firebending yet as a 7 or 8 year old. And that probably informs the reactions we see in the comics from their parents as well.
I mean, I think Ozai would have very much held Zuko's lack of firebending over his head. My theory is that Ozai's disfavor of Zuko began to fester as soon as Zuko was born, due to Ozai protecting his own insecurities onto Zuko (and also being jealous that Zuko divided Ursa's attention). This would be easy for Ozai to do since Zuko is both his firstborn and a boy.
So by the time Azula comes along, Ozai is already convinced that Zuko is a failure (and it's possible that there were disfavorable omens when Zuko was born that fed into that perception, maybe Zuko was late learning to walk or talk, etc.) and that he will be a late bloomer, or maybe not a bender at all.
And poor Zuko, for his part, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, as kids often do when they live in a household where the adults in their lives don't expect them to flourish. So every time Zuko failed to hit a certain milestone, Ozai would use that to either torment him or Ursa on how her son was a failure.
So when Azula is born, Ozai is determined that she will be everything Zuko is not. And maybe Azula does things that encourage this perception. We know she's precocious, and again, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Ozai gets pleasure out of giving Azula every praise and advantage he denied to Zuko. How long before either of the children began to make a single spark do you think Ozai was telling his family how sure he was that Azula would firebend first, and rubbing it into their faces how that meant Zuko was a failure?
I think this fits with both the reactions we see from Zuko and Azula as young children in the comics. A lot has been made of that scene in Azula in the Spirit Temple when Ursa reacts with fear and disappointment on seeing her daughter bending, while Ozai is exuberant and demands Ursa praise their daughter. We, the audience, know who Ozai is. We know his excitement for his daughter's firebending skills is not out of caring or pride for his daughter, but all about himself and the weapon he wants to make Azula into. There is reason for Ursa to be fearful, here, but it's fear of Ozai, not fear of her daughter. And, as the comic also states, fear for Azula.
Tumblr media
I also want to go back to that scene in the Search where we see young Zuko coming to his mother, waking from a nightmare where Azula has set his room on fire. Both Azula and Zuko are very young in this scene, and of course Zuko's fear is ridiculous. Neither of the children have started bending yet.
Tumblr media
But if Ozai had already been telling his family how strong Azula was going to be, and how weak Zuko was in comparison, that explains very well Zuko's fear.
There's also something here of fire as an element both prized and feared by those who wish to control it, and I think both children learned very quickly the dual nature of fire and made it a core aspect of their personality.
I think about that image of baby Zuko in awe of Iroh's flames in Legacy of the Fire Nation. How long before the wonder of fire turned to fear, and anxiety because he just couldn't seem to measure up?
Tumblr media
Can you imagine how terrifying it was for all of them living with Ozai? Not because he was physically violent, but because of the violence in his threats, the subtle reminders of how his rage could be turned on those who didn't meet his expectations at any moment. And he'd already made up his mind that Zuko would never meet his expectations and that Azula had to. No wonder Zuko learns to fear his sister at an early age. No wonder Azula learns that it's better to be feared than to be a disappointment.

something something au in which zuko one of the pirates that katara steals the waterbending scroll from. but it's also an au in which zuko is a waterbender. classic 'sometimes descendants of the avatar are born bending different elements from their parents' type story. or: how to make zuko even more of a failure in ozai's eyes than he already is in canon.
he discovers his waterbending after azula discovers her firebending, so not only does he bend the wrong element, he's also late to it. fire lord azulon makes the decision to spare his grandson's life, as he has heard tales of the avatar's descendants sometimes having wonky bending, but he is forbidden from learning any waterbending.
he learns the dual dao instead, hoping to still find a way to serve his nation and prove himself loyal despite being a waterbender. he's not even a factor in the royal family's line of succession anymore, which takes a little of the pressure of him- but not by much. he still wants to be a good prince, so he still ends up in that war meeting.
...his father still challenges him to an agni kai.
it's absurd. everyone knows it. most assume prince zuko is a nonbender. he can't fight an agni kai- but that doesn't stop ozai from putting on a farce of one anyways.
he's not a firebender. he loses the eye.
ozai still banishes him and sends him on a mission to search for the avatar- but it's all a farce too. he forbids iroh from accompanying his nephew, and pays off the sailors that he hires to sink the ship once it's out of fire nation waters, so he can finish off his failure of a son for good.
except zuko doesn't die.
he wakes up on a pirate ship. they dragged him out of the water- and with nowhere else to go, and sinking realization that his father absolutely wants him dead, zuko joins their crew. he pretends he's lost his memory so he can avoid any uncomfortable questions, and renames himself kou.
he starts to teach himself how to waterbend.
as prince zuko of the fire nation, he'd been forbidden to. but prince zuko is dead- he's just kou now. there's nothing stopping him from learning the element that he was born with- and the captain is more than happy to have a bender on the crew. he keeps up with his dual dao practice as well, and three years on, he's made himself into a formidable member of the crew.
he feels... free.
(he also gets first dibs on any waterbending scrolls they... acquire.)
then one day, a pair of water tribe siblings and an air nomad walk onto his ship- and make off with a waterbending scroll.

12. What are your steambaby headcanons?
Fire Lord Zuko and First Lady Katara's steambabies :
Princess Kya (14), the leader - a fire bender, an heir of the Fire Nation. She has golden eyes and light brown skin. She is just, brave, determine, and sometimes mischievous.
Headcanons :
Zuko teaches Kya fire bending in every martial-style bending. She isn't surprised her father teaches her water-styles more than other styles.
Zuko teaches Kya how to redirect lightning in honour to her beloved grand-uncle Iroh.
Azula (after her redemption arc) is very close to Kya because her niece has talents and badass like her.
Azula teaches Kya how to direct lightning and she learns it quickly. 'I doubt you're your father's daughter, it took him years to do that," is Azula's way to compliment her.
Just like her father, Kya secretly learns fire bender from the source. One day, Zuko and Katara accidentally sees Kya doing the dragon dance with his dragon, Druk, and amazed by that.
Prince Kazan (12), the protector - a non-bender, the youngest master dual swords. He has golden eyes and light brown skin. He is strong, smart, tactical, and eager to learn any weapons. Kazan (火山) means volcano in Japanese.
Headcanons :
Kazan has very similar face and gesture to young Zuko, except his skin is darker.
Kazan feels insecure when found out that his two sisters are benders and he's not. Katara is the one who notices his anxiety first and asks Zuko to cheer him up.
Zuko encourage him that he doesn't need to be a fire or water bender to be a great leader. Zuko also shows Kazan his dual swords skill, tells him that weapon skills are very useful at any time.
Zuko himself who teaches Kazan dual swords techniques until he mastered it at young age. This is in my head how Zuko teaches Kazan :
After Kazan mastering dual swords, he start learns other weapons, especially water tribe weapons from Hakoda and Sokka. Dual swords still his main weapon and he still practising it.
Kazan often reminds Zuko of his childhood, sometimes it brings back to his past trauma. Zuko feels afraid that he will act like his father to his children, especially his non-bender son. Katara always reminds Zuko that he is not the same as his father at all. He is always a good father to them.
Princess Izumi (8), the healer - a water bender, a young peacemaker. She has ocean eyes and pale skin. She is calm and quiet, has a kind heart and motherly.
Headcanons :
Izumi is very close to her mother, Katara. She's almost always by her side.
Izumi has motherly nature combination of her two grandmothers, Ursa and Kya. She's quiet but wise and very intelligent.
Izumi often being a peacemaker when her sister and brother quarrel, most often because Kya playing prank on Kazan.
Katara teaches Izumi how to fight and heal, but Izumi is more interested in healing. She has excellent talents in healing.
Izumi not only a healer, she also has talent as a herbalist like Ursa. She learn herbalist almost herself. She can make poison, but prefers to use her abilities to make cure.
Years later when she turn 18, she become a good fighter and best at healing. She secretly learn blood-bending and use it to heal (only Kya and Kazan know about it).
Nb :
I thought about swapping Kya and Izumi just like in canon-TLOK, but I stick with my first HC in result, because I always imagined badass firebender Kya and calm intelligent water-bender Izumi.
I only wrote down good things about steambabies, I still haven't thought about their weaknesses.
These are my original headcanons. Every Zutara shipper allowed to use it into fanarts, fanfics, or add another headcanons, but please let me know and credit me ❤️💙

okay so, recently I was replaying a game (won't say the title since this is a minor spoiler!) and at one point a character loses an eye, and there's a section where it shows him struggling to get used to this new lack of depth perception. even though i had an OC of my own who'd lost an eye, I'd never taken something like that into consideration. and then it made me think of your Zuko – and ofc whatever other Zukos have been imagined with a blind eye (which tbh I wish they'd allowed in the show but, oh well) – and how he might have to relearn firebending to some degree in the time after he'd been wounded by Ozai.
I just woke up so I'm not sure if I even had a question lmao but it's been stuck in my head for a little bit but, I also just love fanon Zuko lore that tbh I wish had been canon??
Hello! Partially blind Zuko never ceases to amaze me whenever I see a fanart or read a fic that depicts him like that.
There's a lot to be said about the damage done to him by Ozai, and Agni knows I'm a sucker for visual metaphors. The burn leaving Zuko half blind and deaf works for me as yet another metaphor of his dual nature. A permanent consequence of his father's hand covering his face in an attempt to silence him. To keep him isolated, weak, with only half of himself able to see the world as it is. A Blue Dragon who offers him the chance to close his eyes and rest.
The new lack of depth perception and the Agni Kai flashbacks would have made firebending torture for him. Zuko was already a failure and a coward. What kind of bender is afraid of his own element? What kind of Fire Prince can't stand the sight of a flame?
Healing is a tiring process, and though he may never see or hear as fully as he once did, he now knows fire for what it truly is. Life and destruction—two halves of a whole.

Profiles in Villainy Redemption
Zuko
The eldest child and only son of Princess Ursa and Fire Lord Ozai, Zuko had been the heir to the throne of the Fire Nation.  A gifted fire-bender, Zuko possesses the ability to generate and mentally control flames.  Refining this ability from early childhood, he became a formidable combatant, utilizing his fire-bending skills in conjunction with martial arts and a strategic mentality.
In his adolescence, Zuko disrespected his father and refused to dual him.  In return, Zuko’s father horribly burned the left side of Zuko’s face and banished him from the Fire Nation.  Accompanied by his Uncle Iroh and a small legion of loyal troops, Zuko set out to capture the long-lost Avatar.  He believed that to do so would end his banishment and restore his honor as Crown Prince of the Fire Nation.
Zuko sought out and pursued Aang, the young Avatar, and his allies all over the four kingdoms, fighting in many battles.  Yet he was never able to succeed in capturing him.
With support from his Uncle Iroh, and after much internal struggle and turmoil, Zuko came to reject his father’s notion of the Fire Nation’s supremacy. He ultimately joined the Avatar's group and became Aang lifelong friend and fire-bending mentor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zuko became determined to end the war and restore both his and the Fire Nation's honor.  While Aang defeated Lord Ozai, Zuko, with the help of the water-bending Katara, defeated his younger sister, Princess Azula.  Zuko then took his place as Fire Lord, declaring an end to the Hundred Year War and the start of a new era of peace.
Actor Dante Basco provided the voice for Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender (with actor Bruce Davison voicing the character in his appearances in Avatar: The Legend of Korra).  Prince Zuko first appeared in the debut episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender, airing on February 21st, 2005.

Well, I guess Zuko is a nonbender since he uses dual swords if the "Azula is an archer=non bender" discourse is any indication.

Zutara - Alter Egos
Zuko and Katara were in their blue spirit and painted lady attire. They found Ozai at the location where they found the killer Katara and Sokka's mother.
Ozai: "You could not live with you're own failure, where did that bring you? Back to me."
Katara: "We know who you really are."
Ozai: "Oh? Then tell me who I am?"
Katara: "You didn't just kill my father and hurt your own son. You're the monster who instigated the 100-year war! You are Vaatu!"
Vaatu: "Surely a peasant who commits ecoterrorism in a hat ropes, and body paint, (looks to Zuko) and a son of mine who scrambles through rooftops at night in a blue mask and broad swords, wouldn't begrudge me dual identities."
Zuko: "Why did you lure us here?"
Vaatu: "I figured you'd appreciate the callback. This is where you met the killer of you're mother, isn't it? You had the chance to end him but didn't, you still wonder if you made the right choice. I guess it doesn't matter now because I've finished him and the only family he has left. Their souls are mine, which means you speak to the killers of both you're parents at the same time."
Katara: "You will pay for everything you've done, monster!"
Vaatu: "Will I? I possess the powers of the Sun, Earth, Ocean, and Moon spirits, the very source of you're power. You know who's next on the menu."
Zuko: "(Brings out swords) You're not going anywhere near Appa!"
Vaatu: "Well, then try and stop me."
They both move in on an attack but are stopped by psychic bloodbending.
Vaatu: "Pitiful."
He slammed them to the ground and places them in a kneeling position. He walked behind Zuko.
Vaatu: "Did you that once you've combined bloodbending and chi-blocking arts, you could create a substitute for energybending to nullify a bender's bending permanently?"
He places his hand at the back of Zuko's neck and places other hand on his forehead
Katara: "(Shouts in horror) ZUKO!"
Vaatu lets him go and his body plops on the ground, he goes to Katara next.
Katara: No! no! Please don't!
Vaatu grabs hold of her neck and pulls her head back to see her neckless, he rips off the neckless.
Katara: "(Tearfully) No! Stop! Please! Don't do this! Please!"
He lets go of her neck and places his hand on her forehead. Close shot of Katara's eyes. When her eyes close, the shot zooms out as Katara's voiceless scream is heard. She plops on the ground as well. Vaatu takes a closer look at Katara's neckless, crushes it with his hand, and lets the tiny pieces fall over Katara's face.
Vaatu: "Once again, you have failed. It's you're kind's destiny to fail and die by my hands."
Zuko: "Then what are you waiting for? KILL US!"
Vaatu: "Nothing would be more joyful to me but perhaps you can be of some use to me. I suggest a trade. Raava can have you back in exchange for the souls of the sky spirit and its final bison manifestation. Every day Raava refuses, someone else will die, starting with you."

An au if batman characters including the bat family were in the avatar universe
Jason would be like jet most likelubsteal from the rich give to the poor and would fight against the fire nation would also probably be a mercenary and a nonbender, would have knowledge of how to chi block and would be unofficially a dual sword master and great with hand to hand combat as well as have deadly precision with throwing stars/blades like mai
Dick would be the male version of tai Lee he'd be a master chi blocker light on his feet wouldn't kill definitely would make life for fire nation soldiers difficult if he sees them harassing people of weaker means he'll do something about it with a smile he'd also be your worst nightmare trying to take him in hand to hand combat even if your a bender
Damians weapon of choice would be a katana he'd be quick and deadly you'd think you have him then surprise you don't when he attacks it would feel like it came from the shadows you wouldn't have time to think he'd have deadly precision and hed be light on his feet hed be able to go toe to toe with benders like its nothing and would know how to use there strengths against them hed also have short blades to throw and an array of poisons on hand jusy in case hed have a shit ton of contingency plans
okay Bruce obviously nonbender he'd probably know a bunch of techniques he'd be similar to iroh in terms of knowledge minus the spiritual aspects and the kindness portion as well he'd be similar to asamis dad hirashi sato he'd have all the advanced technology even during aangs time only he wouldn't rely only on thr technology and inventions hed also be a sword master, know how to chi block and how to counter most bending techniques remember how iroh swung those boulders with his chains with just shear strength and howw zuko smashed them with his foot yeah that would be bruce minus the fire bending, he'd also have bombs similar to sokkas stink bombs only they'd knock u out...
Swamp thing would definitely be a water bender like the swamp water benders but way more powerful and he'd love in the same swamp the gang visits and finds out they need to seek out toph I also feel like he'd be an incredibly powerful blood bender
Poison ivy would also be a water bender I actually feel like she'd be similar to swamp thing but also very different she wouldn't live in the swamp but off the grid she'd travel all over the world of Avatar just studying medicine and poisons she wouldnt really feel a need to truly interfere with the war unless someone outright makes it her problem or goes after her personally or her home
Harley would be a non bender similar to Dick but like way worse because she's incredibly unpredictable she'd also use blasting jelly at any given moment and God help you if u underestimate her because she's not a bender I feel like she'd have knowledge of a bunch of different weapons as well as an intimate knowledge of explosives she would be a bit of an anti hero in the avatar universe she wouldn't necessarily support ozai but I don't think she'd feel any need to truly go out and attack fire nation soldiers unless she sees them attacking kids or women or forcing themselves onto someone shss huge on consent
Joker are u insane I'm not giving him bending absolutely not no thank you lmaoo y'all really thought I'd give an actual thought for the joker nope but feel free to comment if u like
The flash would be an air bender not monk gyatso level air bending but still powerful
Wonder woman I can see her as being a bender but also a kyoshi warrior and definitely against the fire nation and would oppose them at every turn I feel like she'd be a metal bender and the way she'd metal bend would be similar to how Lynn does in legend of Korra but more powerful then lynn
