Loved the banter between Warly and Woodie in this one, very cute! I like to think Warly dotes on others when they're sick, so I think it's cute to see someone like Woodie (who I believe would usually keep to himself, just out of habit) dote on someone he cares for.

This one's a multichapter one, you don't see a lot of interactions with any of these characters in the fandom or canon, but I think they got it on point. If you know me you know I love Walter interacting with anyone (especially Woodie), Woodie and Wormwood interactions, as well as Wickerbottom and Wolfgang intersections, and this hit all spots. They're so in character too, it's exactly how you'd picture them to be and more. Bonus points for Maxwell getting dunked on, I always love seeing that man suffer.

The kids were very cute in this one! I adore Wickerbottom, especially when trying to make sure the kids get a good education even in the Constant

Lemme just say that tastydoge is a master at writing Wx78. The highlight is definitely wxson, but the interactions between the other characters are top tier as well

One thing about me, I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE PAIR WALTER WITH WOODIE!! Please Walter is so Woodie and Lucy's adopted son! He's the whole reason Walter's in the constant to begin with, so that by itself probably already fills Woodie with some guilt and obligation towards him! But they're just a natural duo also, both naturally inclined towards the woods and survival, like father like son. Tasty puts it into words much better than I can.

Bonus one! This has nothing to do with the plot, it was a small mention in the story that made a very funny mental image in my head. This story is a 100/10 if you love seeing Maxwell be miserable too.

i don't know how to describe it but there's potential between maxwell and wigfrid's friendship that's like. almost tender. i guess. you'll just have to take my word for it.

ultimately, they're both so painfully similar. when you boil them down into their base elements, they're practically the same person. an artist, longing so desperately for approval, that they're willing to sacrifice anything to get it. an actor who hates themself so thoroughly that they're willing to become someone worthy of being loved- and judging that metric of worth on how much they're adored by the strangers that comprise their audience.

maxwell knows that 'wigfrid' is a facade. but, to an extent, i also think that wigfrid knows 'maxwell' is a facade. and i think there's something so delicate, so genuine in the way two people like that can engage with each other.

two people, terrified of being unmasked- and subsequently, unloved- knowing full well that the other isn't what they seem... and not prying. not peering behind the curtain.

Mans is just so messed up that he’s desensitized to his own death. Obviously not the deaths of his teammates, but he couldn’t care less about his own.

Wants a quick way back to the base? Or feels like doing an experiment just for the hell of it because he’s bored? Wilson will just casually throw himself into danger.

He’s gone through so much shit that at his point he can just disassociate and block out all the pain, which is NOT MENTALLY HEALTHY please don’t be like Wilson besties
