I know some people are really big fans of the “Wanda is Warly’s mom from earlier in the timeline!” theory, and I love that theory for you all!!

But personally, I’m a bigger fan of the “Wanda is Warly’s mom’s twin sister!” theory, which might have been something I just made up.

Does it make sense with my version of what I think Wanda’s backstory is? Nope, not at all! But dangit, I like the theory, so I’m gonna spill it!

Basically, Wanda first got into time travel when Angeline (Warly’s mom) was diagnosed with time travel. We all know that Wanda definitely has a fear of death, but maybe also a fear of being forgotten by those she loves until she’s all alone with nobody left? Maybe I’m just projecting a bit.

But anyways! She just couldn’t handle the thought of her precious twin sister forgetting her and everyone she loves, so Wanda resolved to do whatever it took to find some sort of cure.

And that’s where time travel comes in! Except she messed it up and sent herself spiraling through time, while Angeline just deteriorated more and more. And she’s been traveling through time so long that when she finally comes face to face with Warly, her nephew, the spitting image of his mother…

She doesn’t recognize him.

Two siblings, bound together by time and love, but forever lost to each other.

So can we talk about Wilson’s relationship with death for a mo? (If you said nah, I’m talking about it anyways)

Mans is just so messed up that he’s desensitized to his own death. Obviously not the deaths of his teammates, but he couldn’t care less about his own.

Wants a quick way back to the base? Or feels like doing an experiment just for the hell of it because he’s bored? Wilson will just casually throw himself into danger.

He’s gone through so much shit that at his point he can just disassociate and block out all the pain, which is NOT MENTALLY HEALTHY please don’t be like Wilson besties
