i would like to present my dsmp character brat scale tier list

I made a tier list about swearing in hermit fics cause for a pg server, writing their characters to swear is very interesting. Like dsmp anyone could swear, empires it’s feels wrong if someone swore (unless it’s a pg13 moment where someone gets to swear once) and hermitcraft it’s a mixture.

At the end of the day who cares how you write dialogue, this is just my silly opinions and if you do write XYZ swearing then do it, don’t let me stop you.

Tiers explain below:

Go loose/don’t care: could swear a bunch in the fic and I couldn’t care. Like swearing nearly every sentence might push it but honestly I don’t care lol.

Not overdone but I don’t care really lmao: same as the tier above just not as much in a chapter.

They will say worse words than fuck or shit: Scar would never say fuck, that doesn’t feel right. But he would say something worse or on accident. Aka you have something else they can say then a basic swear.

I guess??? Not really but okay???: I would be surprised and a bit confused depending on the context. Like if they have high emotions then pop off but a random swear in a chill conversation doesn’t sit right.

They would not fucking say that: as the title implies, not needed context.

c!dnf / xdnf - i am biased because i love all dnf, but c!dnf is so beautiful. lovers who were once close, but after wars and division, are pulled apart. dream loses himself trying to find what he once had, peace and "a big happy family," george can't stand the idea of what the world has become, who his lover has become, and he hides from it. dreamXD comes along, and george tries to fill the void in his heart. he's god's favourite, XD gives him whatever he wants and wears the idea of his lover. XD wants george, but george just wants the dream he knew back. god-tier ship.

c!villainduo - so much enemies to lovers potential. i usually am not the hugest fan of enemies to lovers since sometimes it can come off as forced or not realistic if the characters / people aren't really enemies or don't have a good reason to be enemies, but wilbur and dream already have the enemies dynamic set up- on opposing sides during the l'manburg wars, but now dream has brought wilbur a new chance at life. everyone hates dream, everyone hates wilbur. they're *villain*duo (even though there aren't technically villains and heroes in dsmp but whatever, they're *seen* as villains). who do they have besides each other?

c!dreamity - i would have put this in 'die' alongside c!awesamdream but quackity has connection with and power over dream, being the guy who tortures the shit out of him. he, being the only regular human connection dream had in the prison, has the potential to manipulate the fuck out of him and make him believe he's unlovable and that quackity is the only one who bothers to "pay attention to" him because dream doesn't deserve "attention" or care. i don't think of it as a romantic ship (not even close lmao) but rather quackity wanting to fuck dream up.

c!karl x c!dream - idk why i put this in 'respect' i just saw a dream x karl fanart once and liked it

c!dreamnoblade - i think of them more as allies than lovers. they care for each other deeply despite their silly dynamic, but they don't seem like anything more than friends, a reliable shoulder for each other to lean on, to me.

c!dreamnap - again, they don't seem like they'd ever be lovers to me. amazing friends to enemies potential but not really romantic.

c!awesamdream - idk why i hate this more than c!dreamity even though both are equally as evil, dream being with the people who fucked him up most and locked him away from the world.

MOST REPEATED MCC TRIOS

I just went on a rabbit hole on the mcc wiki to see which were the most repeated trios in mcc history. These are the results. Also, WARNING that some of the names are genuine jumpscares, but gotta include them for the sake of accuracy. I am also counting All Stars, even though many of its teams were completely repeated, and will be treating "Canon" and Non-Canon" events the same

The SIMMER question. The Simmers belong in a special category bc the 4 of them (KriticZeuz, Vixella, Dr Gluon and James Turner) have been in the same team 13 times! However, since Season 3 they have been a more unusual occurence, and James especially has participated less often, with the remaining Simmers usually being paired with an S tier (FBM, Antfrost). Therefore, I can say without a doubt that THE MOST REPEATED TRIO is:

-KryticZeuz, Vixella and Dr Gluon with 16 mccs together!!!

CONCLUSIONS AND OBSERVATIONS:

-It is interesting how in early mcc teams were a lot more repeated, probably bc people knew each other less and there were less people in the roster as a whole

-Some of these really surprised me, mostly bc they include people who don't usually play anymore so I didn't think about them initially (like Katherine and KingBurren)

-False has been in soo many repeated trios without being in a team repeated more than twice it is so funny.

-On the other end, Kara is in TWO teams that have been repeated which is funny

-Losing my goddamn mind about H not being in a trio repeated more than twice. I guess it speaks of how flexible he is to team up and how many people he knows but omg HOW

-So many trios with Grian and Pete which were repeated exactly twice and didn't qualify for the list. For the record, them and False have teamed up twice, so they don t qualify for the list, but considering how often they ve played with each other and with False I am surprised this trio hasn t occured more

-Martyn Jimmy and Scott have played with each other so many times I am surprised the 3 of them have only played together twice.

-Lots of DSMP duos which were repeated so many times I am surprised no more trios emerged from that

-Surprising lack of Hermit trios excluding False. Would not be surprised if I am missing smth

-Bc of most these trios being born in the early days, Jojo Pearl and Aimsey really surprised me by playing together 3 times although Jojo and Aimsey were both added in Season 2, but tbf their team with Hannah has been repeated twice

-Would not be surprised if I am missing a recurrent trio with Shelby, Scott or Captain, they have participated in mcc way too many times for my sanity

-Surprised Joel isn t in more recurrent trios tbh apart from bad boys tbh
