This new firefox update suuucks

They lost my session data including previously opened windows

I don't have a visible bookmarks toolbar even though I have the option selected (it sucks going five menus deep for a properly organized bookmark when one hand cramp can cause you to start from scratch)

Speaking of, I am completely unable to make new folders to organize bookmarks

And I had to troubleshoot extentions to even access the intenet.

I am quiet as hell about my own struggles bcs I've never been in a situation where asking for help has genuinely been a viable solution to my problems.

But I am not in a good place rn financially or emotionally for any form of signal boosting.

I am too busy drowning in executive dysfunction, and tasks other people pile on me even though, I wanted a perfectly clear schedule to deal with bueracratic nonsense and a job hunt. So I am putting on my air mask first and dealing with my own little plane crash okay?

Okay heads up I do not want financial help at this time dealing with setting up a paypal or kofi is way to much stress for my adhd and I could access funds that are behind some bureaucracy if my executives would FUNCTION.

I've been out of grocery money for the past 2 weeks so I am hungry and dehydrated. I have a headache and no medication that will reduce it.

I am coming up on a theater performance deadline and this is the third round of where I've had the "I want to focus on getting a job mom." "But you haven't made progress, you'll have fun, it gets you out and socialized, and they need people" conversation.

I stayed up til 3 washing dishes because that chore has been playing Damocles's sword for over a week. (and it's still not done. 🙃) And then slept through trying to help mom with her car problems today even though I set the alarm so I got 3 hrs of sleep.

My parent's can't help financially right now because a good thing dropped in their laps but the people in charge have piss poor logistics so that costed more than it should and is putting stress on them.

Dad won't let me grow a veggie garden bcs he's a controlling asshat about the property, and we have a giant fucking raccoon problem, and even if I could I couldn't afford it in the way that would work.

I do not have a working vehicle that is insured. I do not know how to hunt for food and I don't have the resources for that. There are NO viable jobs within walking distance.

My everything is unmedicated and untreated. I am dealing with fatigue from Covid from Febuary on top of the who the fuck knows chronic fatigue.

A Mama farmcat and 2 of her kittens have been missing without a trace for the past 3 days leaving 2 traumatized kittens who are begging for attention. I would love to get our farmcats spayed/neutered in homes but we can just manage to feed them and local shelters apparently ask for money to drop off cats.

I am so skin-hungry I could lie in a puppy pile for 6 hours. And part of why groceries are so tricky and expensive is gluten gives me inflammation.

So I will not react nicely to any form of guilt trips. Especially if I don't know you and then have to go through the whole divination process of: is this a scam?

To anyone else reading this how you can help is to send an ask along the lines of: just the that's rough buddy Zuko gif, or you can make it through today, or I wish I could take on those kittens for you.

Fandom Fic Filtering Nitpick

If I read a fic where Damian Wayne's name is misspelled I cannot trust the author's characterization choices; and I will immediately drop the fic like a hot potato.

Like rip to people with dyslexia and memory issues (I have adhd I empathize) but I just cannot. I'd be more understanding if the media for the fandom in question wasn't a good chunk text-based and in some fandoms I am more lenient. But in general getting names spelled right is a respect thing to me. Especially if the person/character isn't white.

Like you want to rebuilt their friendship from scratch on forgiveness mild rivalry and going to therapy? Sweet go for it! I am willing to be convinced.

You try to to squeeze past with the fluffiest of handholding you are on very thin fracking ice and am feeling particularity growly and judgmental in your general direction.

It’s almost like a trigger for me? Less in a I’m back to middle school and I feel isolated and feel like dying way and more of a Man this would be a great time to turn a slab of beef into hamburger with my bare hands and put a sledgehammer through a few walls.

So I’ve had a an earworm stuck in my head for like a half week

generally I just listen to the song until I get sick of it but digging out the cd to get it on my newer computer and it isn’t the normal version of the song I’m craving so I go to youtube I look up Ophelia Girl Cover The Lumineers

and what I get is a one cover that’s almost what I want but changes the lyrics for heteronormative bs but then flubs even that up

and a bunch of soft gentle white girls doing it injustice by singing it softly and prettily to gently played pianos and guitars

are you so trapped in your own fucking heads that you are not hearing the same song I am?

Sure the original track the singer doesn’t do much with the dynamics but a) the lead on that song has way more acting chops than you random white girl on the internet (I should know)

and b) the instrumentation carry a lot of the less subtle emotional weight of the song. The percussion sounds like people took out their grandpappy’s drumkit from the civil war to do an ad hoc funeral procession and the piano wails like a widow being sent to a workhouse while the relatives take in the kids. So the cover artists who play a dinky little accompaniment with their pretty soft voices sound shallower than a mudpuddle.

and c) on the genius lyrics page for the song the ah ahs are described as visceral they aren’t fucking tinsel and lace thrown in! They are structural elements of the lyrics that need to land solid blows to create openings for the lyrics to trickle through. And if they don’t you might as well vivisect them out since you’re already butchering the song.

and d) if I could play a fucking instrument or had the breath control to mimic the piano atm I would correct this fucking travesty but I can’t so I’m extremely frustrated (which sucks bc the weather is moody enough to match the vibe I’d be going for)

anyway that’s how social isolation is going for me; what’s up with you?

Basically while your ego is so massive it would probably implode Krypton, you don’t have the swagger or class to pull it off, you don’t have the kindness and sincerity to make this charming, and you aren’t Diana Fucking Prince so all you’re selling us is lies.

Are there any official Young Justice comics? I saw your question to TayTay from DLoTB. I'm just asking because you said you wanted to read the comics but couldn't because they whitewashed Artemis. They only comics I know of featuring Artemis is the comics done by Marvel in the 60s where she is white. You seem like you're part of the YJ fandom so I'm pretty sure you know they racebent Aretmis mother!

Artemis and Young Justice are Detective Comics (DC) properties. 

People won't take you seriously if you can't keep the big two straight.

There's two YJ comics the:

One in the main DC universe with Tim, Bart and Conner produced in the 90's.

The one written by Weisman with a pale blue eyed Artemis that is supplementary to the episodes.

She's in Teen Titans in the reboot and she's white there too. I do realize that main universe pre-boot Paula is white.

But Earth-16 is it's own universe. The colorist should be consistent within that universe. They made Kaldur's eyes green. But the actual issue is taking away Artemis's racial identity.

If I was writing an AU and I forgot a important detail like this character has functioning wings while I write them plummeting to their death, people have the right to criticize my own writing no matter what applies in the main universe.

So no, the fact that Paula and Artemis were originally white in the main universe does not matter to the argument that the tie-in comics white wash her.

So yes, we still have perfectly solid ground to criticize them for it.

Sorry if you didn't intend this for ranting, it's just easier to cut this thing off at the bud.
