Well it’s kinda a forever Winter in my world, I don’t know how I got here.

Yeah we do look alike, before the frost I did paint my skin orange.

I'm not doing this series anymore, all previous posts have been privated. I might try making a different ask series with less of a dark tone planned/integrated like this one had.

I won't say what the planned story was because that's not important, just know that this series is gone. My apologies to the few who wanted to see it progress but I feel uncomfortable with it now, among other reasons.

Got some designs for monsters in the Frost au (not to scale)

Velocigoose - Predator

As dinosaurs evolved into birds these geese and most other birds have mutated back into more dinosaur like creatures. They can move swiftly through snow making little sound other than trills to communicate with other velocigeese. They have colourblindness and cannot distinguish between blue and white.

Scorpidog - Predator

They have mutated to deal with cold with a combination of a blubber type fat and thick fur. The tail contains a paralysis fluid it uses to gain an advantage on prey as it moves slowly through the snow. It has poor vision as relies more on its hearing to locate prey.

Snowmouse - Prey

They have mutated to survive the cold similar to the scorpidog. It can hop through the snow with ease, using its tail to leave warning marks for other snowmice to inform them of danger. They have incredible hearing as the snow affects its vision.

Snowbunny - Predator

It’s mostly just a normal rabbit but with the motivation to kill and second set of eyes to help traverse the snow.

Bugcat - Prey

Very similar to the Scorpidog with its thick-fur and blubber-like fat to keep warm however it’s fur is rough. It uses its three sets of legs to make a quick escape from predators and allows it to dig through the snow to hide/ climb trees and buildings to avoid predators.

Tunnelling snake - Neutral

He has mutated to improve it’s ability to tunnel through the snow, its snout is used to pierce through ice while it’s arms have scoop shaped claws to dig through softer snow. It’s covered in fur to keep warm. The snake has no eyes and relies on sound completely with it’s antenna which are covered in tiny hairs to pick up vibrations and sounds.

Quadibis - Prey

Honestly just an ibis but with two sets of legs, does the same stuff an ibis normally does. Didn’t mutate much.

Re-reading the now privated ask posts on this one, I'm sorry for being agitated and petty. Y'all didn't deserve that, fully on me. I should not have gone into this just expecting it to blow up just by concept alone, that was incredibly cocky and i should never have had such unrealistic ideas. Just felt like I needed to apologise properly as I really shouldn't have directed any of that to you guys who just wanted to see and interact with some art. I hope to do better in future cause you guys are lovely. I won't make any more posts on this one, dead indefinitely
