DPR crew in KL 2024 concert guide: How to get there, setlist predictions, and more
PUBLISHED: DEC 11, 2024 08:00 AM MYT  |  6 MIN READ | BY MELISSA FOONG
Planning to catch the DPR crew in action in KL next week? As the last month of 2024 wraps up and the countdown to 2025 begins, DPR Ian, DPR Cream, and DPR Artic are storming into Mega Star Arena for their highly anticipated The Dream Reborn world tour. This is no drill, folks—it’s time to dust off your Dream Light stick and leave those giant LED banners at home. Trust us, your arms will thank you.
For Malaysian DREAMers, this moment has been a long time coming. While DPR Ian and Dabin (formerly DPR Live) were slated to perform at last year’s Good Vibes Festival, the universe threw a curveball with a headline-making controversy, leaving fans heartbroken—thanks to a certain someone named Matty Healy. But redemption is here! Though Dabin is sitting this one out, the DPR collective promises to make up for lost time with a concert experience that’s nothing short of legendary.
So, if you’re ready to vibe like a pro, we’ve got you covered. From how to navigate KL to setlist predictions and what to not bring into the venue (seriously, ditch the oversized fan props), this ultimate guide will make sure you’re not just attending, but owning the night. Ready? Let’s go—because nothing screams ‘concert veteran’ like nailing the pre-show prep.CultureA guide to all the live concerts and shows in Malaysia confirmed for 2025What's OnDPR crew announces KL stop for their ‘The Dream Reborn’ world tour this December
DPR Crew in KL 2024 concert guide: How to get to Mega Star Arena
Tumblr media
Ready to scream your lungs out to No Blueberries with DPR Ian, groove to Color Drive with DPR Cream, or let loose to Dream with DPR Artic this weekend? If you’ve scored tickets to their 18 December concert at Mega Star Arena, congrats—you’re in for a night to remember.
But before the fun begins, let’s talk logistics because nothing kills concert vibes faster than a traffic jam or a parking nightmare. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with this foolproof guide to getting there.
Located in the bustling heart of KL, Mega Star Arena is easy to find but can be a pain to drive to. Unless you enjoy crawling through traffic or testing your patience in a packed parking lot, we highly recommend taking the public transport. Seriously, your nerves (and wallet) will thank you.
The MRT is your golden ticket. Jump on the Kajang line and hop off at Bukit Bintang station. Take Exit C, stroll for about 4 minutes, and boom—you’re at Sungei Wang Plaza. Prefer the Monorail? Board the KL Monorail line, disembark at Bukit Bintang station, and use Exit E to land right in front of Sungei Wang Plaza. Both services run until midnight, giving you ample time to bask in post-concert euphoria without turning into a pumpkin.
For the brave souls who insist on driving, parking is available at Sungei Wang Plaza for RM8 per entry from 6 PM to 7 AM. Heading there earlier? It’s RM4 for the first two hours and RM2 for every additional hour. If Sungei Wang Plaza is full (it happens), nearby options include Lot 10 (RM10 for up to 8 hours) or Plaza Low Yat (RM6 per entry from 6 PM to 6 AM). Early arrivals at Plaza Low Yat can expect RM4 for the first two hours and RM2 for each hour after that. Pro tip: save yourself the trouble and Don’t Go Insane (pun intended) while circling the block—park smart, not stressed.
What to bring and what to leave behind
Tumblr media
With the show kicking off at 8 PM sharp, get ready for two and a half hours of pure DPR magic. But before you sprint to the front of the stage, let’s start with the entrances. Mega Star Arena has two ways in: Entrance A on Level 1 and Entrance B on Level 2. Simple enough, right? Now, onto the essentials and the not-so-essentials.
While you might be tempted to bring your entire DPR memorabilia collection, keep it low-key. Official guidelines haven’t dropped yet, but based on past events at the same venue like the DAY6 concert, here’s a handy list of what to leave at home:
Outside food or drinks
Bags larger than an A4 size
Professional photography or recording equipment
Laptops or tablets
Helmets
Umbrellas
Laser pens or glow sticks
Pets
Weapons of any kind
Flammable items or fireworks
Cigarettes or e-cigarettes
Banners larger than A4 size. LED banners or banners with political/LGBT slogans are also not allowed
Glass bottles
Alcoholic beverages
Drugs
Selfie sticks or tripods
Ladders or folding chairs
Your ticket is digital, so make sure your phone is charged and ready to scan—because no battery means no entry. With all that squared away, you’re all set for a smooth and stress-free concert experience. Just bring the vibes, your voice, and maybe a tissue or two for when Ballroom Extravaganza hits you right in the feels.
DPR Crew’s The Dream Reborn concert in KL 2024 setlist predictions
DREAMers, brace yourselves for a night to remember—and a lengthy one at that. The DPR Crew is about to serve up a setlist packed with fan favourites and fresh beats that’ll keep you vibing all night long. From iconic tracks like So Beautiful and Do or Die to the smooth grooves of Color Drive, this concert is shaping up to be a dream come true.
While the exact lineup is under wraps, we’ve scoured playlists and fan theories to bring you a sneak peek at what might make the cut. Spoiler alert: expect both nostalgic throwbacks and newer hits that’ll have you belting your heart out (or shedding a tear, we don’t judge). So, warm up those vocal cords and prepare to lose your voice—it’s all part of the experience.
