A wee bat has been flitting through his warehouse, up above the rafters overhead as the Red Hood's goons on the floor busy themselves among those steel tables, cutting coke on the floor. Have people noticed? Probably. It hangs, occasionally, watching as a tiny form from the otherwise bare ceiling strewn with rods.

Right now, though, it's been brave enough to perch right in the Red Hood's sight -- upside-down from a feature by the desk he's lounging in. Oh, those big batty eyes...

SURE, TIM’S TRAINING HOURS MAY HAVE BEEN BETTER utilized practicing with a different weapon - there were times when his staff had been out of play, either separated from him or damaged beyond repair. Part of the job was the improv, especially seeing as so many of their nightly plans had a habit of turning to shit faster than one of The Flash’s laps around the globe. 

It was logical, it was responsible, but with Jason standing on the opposite side of the mat in the gym, Tim quickly tossed practicality out of the window. It’d been a slow night in the cave waiting on an analysis to finish up, and, curse him, he wanted to have a little fun. So, he kept the metal staff in his grasp. Jason’s strikes were fast, but he was able to block them before shooting his brother a grin.   ❝ Lightening up, are we? ❞

               bats are nocturnal is bullshit.    well --- maybe for THE bat, it was true. or maybe it was just classic sleep deprivation, running too far for too long, and maybe he wasn’t as young as he once was.      whatever it was had dick releasing the control on his hand cuffs unceremoniously, peeling the domino from tired skin, and heading straight for the bedrooms.                 considering it was his last night in the mansion before heading back to blud for the week, he figured a little affection could go a long way, and stepped close enough to hug jason goodnight. a quick thing considering they’re both exhausted, and sweaty, and would probably like to be underneath twenty layers of rich people duvets right about now, but the best planned attacks are   S U R P R I S E S.         and maybe it’s dick who should’ve realized a pattern when it imbedded itself into his skin.  dick gave him a teasing smile as he withdrew his hand.                             “ y’know most people just say goodnight. ”

@druglcrd​ - i’ve already stated that something i quite enjoy is your capturing of jason’s voice. so i didn’t want to be lame and use the same thing, but that still stands. i took a deep dive into your blog spent some time reading through your threads to see how you really get into your writing, and i must say something that is truly fantastic about your writing outside of jason’s voice coming through so crisply ? his mannerisms. his actions and thought processes really capture the character to his core and who is why he does what he does and it makes complete sense to me, it creates this beautiful character image for me like i am reading the comics right on your blog only a thousand times better.
