2. What is your favorite class and why? And/or list the player classes in order of most -> least favorite

In terms of class story, Imperial Agent, hands down. It broke me, but I loved it. I like all of the stories, even though there are some things that made me uneasy or bored me about each of them. In terms of actual gameplay? God, I don’t know. I probably have the most fun day-to-day playing either my Smuggler or my Bounty Hunter, though part of that is because I play Zuvi (Smug) like the idiot she is, and Moxie (BH) is the only one that’s actually in an active social(ish) guild where I feel comfortable grouping up with some really fun people on things. But I’ve been doing some swapping between Ember (JK) and Mena (SW) and noticing little differences and similarities in how they play and loving it (like how Mena throws her sabers overhead and Ember throws them from the side, and how Ember’s self-yeet is gentler than Mena’s, but Mena’s mad dash is actually more graceful and balletic than Ember’s equivalent move). I also love the Warrior growl, I can’t get enough of it.

Class Story Ranking: Imperial Agent, Smuggler, Sith Inquisitor, Sith Warrior, Jedi Consular, Jedi Knight, Bounty Hunter, Trooper

Gameplay Ranking: Smuggler (Sharpshooter Gunslinger), Bounty Hunter (Pyrotech Powertech), Sith Warrior (Annihilation Marauder), Sith Inquisitor (Madness Sorcerer, lightning and mini heals), Jedi Knight (Watchman Sentinel, basically the same as the marauder), Imperial Agent (Medical Operative, even though heals are scary), Trooper (Tactics Vanguard, plays pretty similarly to my Bounty Hunter, but for some reason I can’t get the hang of her? I really enjoy her giggle though), Jedi Consular (Infiltration Shadow, this is on me, I cannot get the hang of all the shadow bullshit, and I breach shadows on accident all the damn time and waste my buffs). A lot of my ranking for gameplay is based a lot more on me and how I play than on the actual mechanics of the class/discipline.

10. Favorite love interest?

Probably Jaesa? But with a grain of salt, because my headcanon version of her is a happy middle ground between the LS-goody-two-shoes-Jaesa and DS-manic-serial-killer-dream-girl-Jaesa canon versions. I really like the idea of her character, and I really like the way I’ve developed the thought of her with my Warrior. And I really dig the reunion with her (especially because of everything it gave me for the angst I was putting together for her and Mena).

I’m also a big fan of Lana, Kira (need to drag my JK through all the expacs so they can get their gay on), Felix, Andronikos, Elara (apparently need to drag my dumbass Trooper through the expacs too!), Risha (give me bi Risha, you cowards), Lemda Avesta (even if I have reservations about this one that I’ve stated before), and Cytharat

12. Do you have a preferred mount/speeder? Is there one you want, but don’t own yet?

I have an Indigo Mantorr for Zuvi that I was able to get after running Crisis on Umbara enough times that I love. I also really like the Umbaran Patrol Tauntaun that was the sub reward a little while back. I like animal mounts more than most of the vehicles. I do have a little purple/blue speeder for Raz2.0 that one of Wife’s guildmates gave her, but I can’t remember what it’s called, but it’s very cute and it does a little beepbeep when you mount up.

Swtor OC ask meme Thanks for asking! This is my Jedi Knight Noara Starspark.

1. What is their alignment? Noara is very dedicated to the light side.

8. How do they feel about the opposite faction? Her feelings are... complicated. When she was younger it was easy to have an us vs. them mentality about it, though she was always one to offer an enemy a chance to surrender instead of going straight for the kill. After seeing the corruption in the Republic, and in some Jedi, and working with the Imperials both against Revan and later in the Alliance it’s no longer a clear answer for her. Her relationship with Torian further complicates that - he is Mandalorian and they have been allied with the Empire for both of their lifetimes. 

When forced on Iokath to choose between the Republic and the Empire, she throws her support behind Empress Acina because she respects the woman and her assistance in the fight against Zakuul. If the game forces her back to the Republic there will be some issues with that haha.

11. Do they have a favorite color crystal they like to use? What color? Until pretty far into her story, Noara only uses blue crystals. They remind her of the ocean and water on Naboo where she was raised. Later she chooses green because it matches the armor Torian gifts her and because she likes the meaning behind it in Mandalorian culture where it represents for duty. I also totally have some copper ones that match Torian’s hair so damn well that I might need to work into her story somewhere.

20. Do they have a love interest? Who? Torian Cadera. They are my cross faction Mandalorian and Jedi OTP. I adore these two, even though it is not an option in the game (because they are cowards and won’t give me the best things in life). Though in game she totally married Doc and is currently dating Arcann....

34. Any major flaws? Putting the needs/agendas of others ahead of herself, not expressing her emotions in a healthy way, recklessly rushing into battle, Torian would say it is that she does not wear proper battle attire. There are probably more haha

It hurt to feel each other again, like touching something warm with frozen fingers.

Still a sweeter pain than the spoiling, rancid ache from before.

“I love you so much,” she cried.

Kaidan tried and failed to get a grip on himself. He just kissed her instead.

“I knew that couldn’t be it. I knew it,” he rambled incoherently, “Oh, Essie!”

He kissed all over her face, especially the parts that were—

“Ow!” she hollered. The bruising had gone down a lot but was still very sensitive.

“Sorry,” he apologized, “Shepard, your face!”

“Hey, you looked a lot worse after Mars. This is nothing.”

Break: (from chapter 3 of “ME4: Aftermath”)

“I know I can’t really move yet,” she continued, her serious tone betrayed by the smile under it, “I’m very aware the war just ended, and we’re all tired…”

That’s when they all started to look nervous.

“But we—all of us, with the state of everything and who we are—Each one of us are leaders of our species and played key parts in the galaxy’s survival. We need to take advantage of that power and break the stranglehold of imperialism that’s been around all our necks since the Leviathan!”

Look,” she continued as they just kept staring, “I’m sorry, but we can’t relax yet! We can rest, recover, whatever we need to do, but then we need to get right back into the game!”

Everyone groaned except for Kaidan, who couldn’t really hear anything over his smiling. Her voice. He was hearing her voice again. Shepard was sitting there, alive.

“You sound just like Bakara,” Wrex complained.

“I knew I liked her!” Shepard countered happily.

“Shepard…” Garrus started.

“Garrus…” she interrupted.

“It’s just…”

“Whaaat? Garrus!” she sang persuasively, “I mean… there’s so many mass relays out there, and they all need calibration!”

He really had to think about it for a second.

Deep/Thoughtful Presents: Funny enough these are the people that would put the most thought and time into something like this. Azmodai and Andras have been gifting each other for years so they’re thrilled about Life Day since that means they can find stuff for other people. Lorn didn’t celebrate Life Day until he began his training under Andras, so he’s also super into it and extremely grateful to receive anything, really. Valen’tin loves the ritual of it all; the shopping, the wrapping, and then seeing the people he cares about happy.

Night-Before Presents: I mean. Lev, that’s self-explanatory. He LOVES Life Day but is terrible at organizing his own time and resources, so night-before presents, always. Kyr’ilsaar could honestly care less about such a pointless holiday; his mindset is if you don’t feel appreciated by him throughout the year, you probably aren’t someone who deserves a special handout from him ❤️. Ylan is a busy man. He doesn’t mean anything rude by it, but he’s usually just so caught up in work that night-before is his only option.

Decorations: Andras and Lorn are both detail-oriented people that can obsess over decorations. Andras favors tasteful and refined décor, Lorn goes for something in between that and kitschy-campy Life Day stuff. Ylan’s stoked to celebrate Life Day in all it’s colorful glory, since he’d only begun to once he left the Ascendancy.

Banned from Food: He’s a great chef, but Lev would try to spike every beverage (sir this is a Wendy’s). Darth Venatae is just a bad cook--it’s not her fault!! No one would Kyr trust near something meant for others to ingest.

Novelty Jumper: Lev loves a good ugly Life Day sweater or silly jumper. Ylan, again, is kind of just happy to be there and celebrate so yeah of course he’s down to wear a jumper. Venatae is taking a wine-nap in an armchair by a fireplace in her jumper like a exhausted queen she is.

Dejarik Nerds: These are all competitive and/or cerebral people. Andras, Val, and Azzy like some friendly competition and a chance to flex their brain muscles, but they are determined to win--especially Andras. Kyr is moderately competent at these types of games, but he gets rather worked up if he isn’t winning.

Stays in Their Room: Kyr’s not the most fun person lol. This is a holiday to celebrate...life. And community. And remembrance. If he’s not getting laid or getting work done he’s kind of mentally checked out.
