my dear anons i’m putting the rest of these answers in a compilation post just to spare my followers. here are some of the rpc’s admins sharing their pet peeves that members do in their groups. pls feel free to keep sending more , i’m loving these !!

when you go to a member about some of their behavior is making other members uncomfy and they say "i would have preferred they come to me themselves" 

 when only a handful of members pay attention to plot drops cause the rest are too busy posting their n-teenth tiktok video of their tiktok fc.

when members very obviously have their muse pregnant and dont go to you for permission to do so until after you make a reminder post about running any major plotlines by admins first

when you go to a member about them godmodding another muse and theyre like i discussed it with so and so, but they didnt discuss it with the other mun who's muse would also be affected and you point that out and they're still like well i dont remember who i plotted with

when members dont go to you discuss any issues they may have with the rp and rather send passive aggressive anons to you. like people we want to help but there's only so much we can do without talking to you directly

when a mun complains about not getting interactions, but they only ever make posts and never reply to any outside of two people

people thinking that i'm supposed to be on the main every hour of the day or reply right away. we have lives, too!

when a member obviously only comes online when their muse's ship partner is on. PLATONIC RELATIONSHIPS MATTER TOO

having to baby grown adults.

when people vague about stuff on anon but won't reply with more detail off anon when asked

when people don't consider bipoc faces or will whitewash a request for their favorite. bc apparently writing them would be too hard and they don't have enough resources.

members complaining about an rp being dead as if it's the admins job to keep the dash active

telling an admin on anon that the times the set for reservations and acceptances are unacceptable and they need to change it (8 hour reservation and 12 hour application) like then don’t apply? It’s that simple

When they dont make a bio. Like it is by no means a requirement, but in a universe based rp, having some background or even just bullet points is kind of needed, especially for ocs. Like it makes plotting easier. And then they get mad if we make mistakes on what their muse can do in plot drops. Like how do you expect us to know the ABCs about ur muse when you dont even give us a letter

the most annoying part of being an admin is that 95% of members refuse to read any part of the main

when a mun who in theory should be more mature than you, is acting like a baby. like ok idk if this sounds ageist but a 21 year old admin should not have to baby a 30+ year old mun or anyone for that matter. even if rp is a way to escape, if you are an adult then you should behave as one

biggest pet peeve ? when people message you saying they are feeling left out when they haven't tried talking to anyone to plot or answered anyone else's starters ! like, what do you want me to do, buddy ? write for you ?

i usually find it awkward and a slight rude/offensive when members of a rp use a certain fc and people flock to praise that fc and say they’ll fc chase while others might use fcs that not everyone knows or cares for and it’s crickets. i feel it can make people not want to play that fc or be in a rp where fcs get praised and others get ignored

you are so right , anon. this is disheartening to see in groups & perpetuates toxic trends in the rpc like favoring thin cishet white faceclaims and exaggerating the importance of faceclaims in general ( rather than the character themselves ). 

to the rpc , please stop face chasing. i know we all have our favorite fcs to see and play against and that’s ok!! but don’t let that get to a point where you’re making others feel left out simply because of a faceclaim they are or are not using. let’s be better than that !!

"as an admin , what are your pet peeves from your members ?" hiatuses that never come back, posting actively in other rps then making excuses how you can't post, not following clearly labeled rules (i.e. post within x hours of your follow, reply to x amount of starters before your own, tag the starter blog), bubbling, and ASKING IF A FC IS TAKEN, JUST CHECK THE PAGES. wow i have more but im almost at the limit, this q got heated me today

hands down my biggest pet peeve is members who ghost. like send a message just say something, anything.

Just thought of an admin pet peeve, I hate when muns come to us and are like "im changing my fc to so and so",or "im going on hiatus." Like obviously for hiatuses unless they've done something that makes us think they're taking advantage of us the answer will always be yes. But it feels so rude when they tell us they're going to do something and not ask, you know. Its like no dont say "hi im changing my fc to so and so" we need to verify them first. Idk it just feels rude

when a muse openly admits to sticking to their bubbles. and your like bro thats called being cliquey, dont.

Complaining because they wanted to make an oc sibling for a character that the mun has already stated is an only child.

When it comes to bio/skeleton rps, I think that my biggest pet peeve is prospective members telling the admins that they don't trust them to make the decisions fairly when accepting for roles. It's really disheartening to hear people tell you that you're definitely going to favor say, a friend applying over someone you don't know or favor an application that's longer/has some extra inspo things attached over an app that doesn't just because of that, not the actual character interpretation. I understand that people can get self-conscious when there’s multiple people after the same role as you but it really doesn’t feel nice when people assume you can’t be trusted to make fair decisions as an admin, and in a rp that you created yourself. (2/2)
