Got so caught up in my dnd brainworms that I almost didn't do anything for Mermay. Continuing what I did last and reimagining some of my OCs are mermaids. This week, I drew one of my human OCs, Anara with some fish.

One last drawing for this mermay with my oc Odeda. With these mermaid drawings, I utilize the existing colors and figure out how to incorporate it. Odeda almost ended up with a camo tail but couldn't bring myself to do that. Also I never draw Odeda without her glasses, so this feels weird. I wanted to do this pose this year, I'm glad I was able to get it in.

Earlier this month, I participated in one shot for my friend's birthday. I wised up when creating my character and utilized one of my many existing OCs. Zariya is usually a human aerial dancer in a traveling circus but for this, she was an air genasi who became a monk. I love a character that hits hard.

Another old sketch redraw. I felt like doing some lineless art since it's been quite a minute. This is my OC Harun, who is sorcerer, casting a spell.

I wanted to do a cute drawing for Christmas with my OCs so here's a little double date with Kane & Batya and Jaime & LJ. Kane and LJ are roommates so it's not uncommon for the couples to hang out together. Why I doubled down on Jaime wearing green in front of the tree is beyond me but I committed.

Love drawing old sketches. The idea behind this is that the team gets split up and wakes up in dark tunnels. Luckily the team was split between the two who can create a light source. Zeke (in the middle) then goes between both groups to relay messages as the team tries to figure out where they are.

Now that artfight is over, back to our regularly scheduled program. Last month I went to the beach and my swimsuit gave me an awkward tan so it made me want to draw a few OCs with awkward tans. This is a tan that their regular clothes create.

For my last October themed drawing this year, I thought I'd group the ocs with the scarier costumes (although only one or two of them are actually trying to be scary). We have Leith (Jason), Mas (Headless Horseman), Denise (skeleton), and Harun (Dancing Pumpkin Man).

This week we have 3 of my OCs with more homemade costumes. From left to right, we have Ira (mummy), DREA (ghost), and CHIA (robot). Can you tell who's not really feeling the Halloween spirit. Also ngl I can't get over how I drew my boy Ira.

I completed this commission earlier this week. It was nice being able to draw one of my OCs for a commission. I'm still working on my guide sheet but I am open for commissions if anyone's interested. More info to come!

This was a silly idea I've had for awhile with my OCs to recreate the Pepe Silvia screenshot. Basically, LJ is determined to figure out if when Senon manifests fox ears if he has 4 functional ears or if his human ears vanishes under his hair. I originally thought of doing a comic about this and LJ then tries to figure out the answer while avoiding the Senon Protection Squad.

Last week I was looking through an old sketchbook and found a sketch of these three peaking around a wall. Thought it would be nice to redraw it with their updated looks. I wanted to design it like a bookmark.

When I did my drawing last week, I forgot that last Friday was in October so I'm doing 3 weeks of my own OCtober. Continuing last year's version, by redrawing my OCs in halloween costumes. This week are my spy OCs Tara (unicorn), Simone (princess), and Rielee (angel).

Final abandoned digital sketch finally finished, for now. I don't remember why I sketched this but I'm guessing it was after I updated Elissa's design awhile back. As you may see, I was really feeling having the light source being behind the characters for this and last week's drawing. I definitely want to push lighting more in the future for more fun results.

Another forgotten sketch now completed. There were 3 different versions of the sketch, I'm glad I was able to settle on one. I may do the other two just for comparison later. I usually draw this couple being cute together but Mason's got a lot of trauma so things aren't always easy. Crystal may not always get it but she does what she can to be supportive.

(Also trying to have Mason's hair flow behind him and not block Crystal was giving me a headache so that's why his hair is flowing in a different direction.)

I was going to redo some sketchbook sketches but then I found some uncompleted sketches in one of my digital files I use. This sketch was nice to do because I was thinking about Black Butterfly again lately. I really hope I'll sit down and draw her complete story one day. For now, have an ounce of angst.
