Still wished they put a trigger warning in the beginning for the episode the Sinclair siblings got attacked by older white boys because when my family saw it for the 1st time, we all remembered our experiences with Midwestern racists and could barely focus on the rest of the ep, just in shock 11yr old Erica got tackled. It just sucks cuz Lucas is literally me, he's my representation in a heavily white cast, and he is mostly stuck with the real world problems than the supernatural plot line that the white characters get.

It happened with Billy being Lucas's main villain/issue and it happened again with the basketball team (made worse cuz he knew Jason and still got a gun to his face like he's a stranger, not a teammate, essentially still othered and seen as an outsider despite winning the game when all was seemingly lost for the championship)

And I wouldn't mind if those characters didn't die directly from supernatural causes, but actually faced consequences for their actions, however they don't, and no one besides Lucas and Co know how horrible they were. Instead Billy and Jason die with the town believing the best versions of them. Lucas's pain invisible.

Just thought it interesting how the episode with all the dead lab kids got a trigger warning, especially because during the s4 premiere another mass school shooting had just happened in the U.S., but there's no sensitivity ever for Lucas, and now Erica, suffering from racially motivated /anti blackness from Hawkins blond boys.

Also can see that Lucas isn't treated with care cuz even Caleb had to ask if his character had a family or parents like Mike and Will since we knew so little of/about him.

VMAS 2023!

Here are my final thoughts on the VMAs: The best performance of the night was definitely by Doja Cat. Demi Lovato had the second-best performance. Miley Cyrus, SZA, and Renee Rapp were snubbed and deserved recognition. Most of the other performances were lackluster.

It appears that VMA's is showing favoritism as they seem to be giving awards to individuals who are attending the show.
