Glimpses of DronHackathon -2023 #day2

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Dronacharya Group of Instiitutions, Greater Noida organized DronHackathon- 2023 (Hardware and Software Project Competition) on 28th and 29th December 2023.

The winners of the competition were awarded with cash prize and all the participant’s efforts were applauded by giving certificates.

The objective of the event was to enhance student’s knowledge and talent, research orientation and unstopped potential and prepare future generation of engineers to be innovative leaders and responsible citizens.

‘National Innovation Day’

To commemorate the remarkable life and contributions of the visionary scientist and former President of India; Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, also celebrated as ‘National Innovation Day’, Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized “Quiz and Elocution Competition” from 15th – 17th October, 2023 54 students (Six teams) from several departments actively participated in the Quiz and Elocution competition.  The event not only tested the knowledge and quick thinking of participants but also showcased their eloquence.

21st Dikshant Samaroh (Convocation Ceremony)

The 21st Dikshant Samaroh (Convocation Ceremony) for the students of 2018 - 2022 Batch of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, Best Engineering College in Delhi NCR was organized in the college auditorium on 17th June 2023.                           

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Chief-Guest Prof. Dinesh Kumar Vice - Chancellor Gurugram University, Gurugram. While delivering the Convocation Address the Hon'ble Chief-Guest Prof. Dinesh Kumar highlighted how knowledge has emerged as the key driver of our economy today. . He expressed that India is bestowed with a unique knowledge wealth of qualified young professionals which is increasing every year and as a society, we value and nurture the knowledge building activity. He felt that the perennial source of human capital of India has to be trapped and converted into value.

On this propitious occasion, students were awarded B.Tech and M.tech Degrees in various branches of Engineering. Having received their degrees, Dronacharyans took a pledge to remain responsible citizens and serve the cause of nation.
