    In the aisles are an assortment of items. One holds glass cylinders full of preserved organs and parts. Another holds safe doors with a variety of locks. And others hold clocks that run at different times. They are saved liminal times. And while he can only travel freely to events of his own life, he has other uses for the clocks. 

     Because  he does not return to his universe a lot, the times he does return is when he does maintenance, and prove to the Elder Gods that he is worth recognition. If it wasn’t for his thousands of years of slumber from the low levels of liminality in his universe, he would have had a secure position. And may have never searched so hard for a place to thrive. 

      The Elder Gods don’t trust him because he is young. 

Ex. Issorai: -he took out some reese cups, tore the wrappers and then stacked them on top of each other- There is a hierarchy in my universe. -points at the candy- These guys? -points at the top- Don't trust me. -points at one second from the bottom.- Because I'm still.. young. -points at the bottom one- I started out with flesh and blood. -he took out m&ms and let them fill the space by the cups- 'Mortal'... Not 'human' but mortal... So I have to continue proving myself until they see whatever they're waiting for. -waves it off- 

      For travel between universes, Issorai has to do some prep work that includes but is not limited to: 

     The warehouse like space had been transformed, rather than an open expanse that lead to a maze of aisle ways and his workspace, there were stairs upon stairs that lead up to the ceiling. The cubicles rested upon each other haphazardly with wooden bridges connecting ones that would be a bother to walk down one stairs, go over and walk up another to get to. Half the doors were open, the other closed. But the one thing that had not changed, was the underlying smell of blood hidden within the folds of an incense that was like the smell of the land after rain.

     He was a silhouette behind the black tinted glass of one of the cubicles. The second largest one with walls made of what looked to be heavily tinted glass and a door made of a metal that sparked with thin lightning bolts skipping over its surface. 

     The air was scorched by fine lines of light. Speckles and clusters of pinpoint spots were everywhere in contrast to the waist high wall of shadow that kept the room divided in half and a small hallway free from the light. And yet as he walked from one side to the other, they were left undisturbed by his passage. He reached out, arm extended, to direct the compass needle installed into the golden cage that a globe had once occupied. Next the longitude and latitude circlets moved. And finally, the marks on the ground pulsed with energy. All too much energy to notice the unobtrusive presence that had entered the basement.

The needle stopped and in the corner of the room a portal popped open. Relatively small compared to past ones. In fact, it was more a window than a door, however it was mirrored in the other side of the divided room. Malice radiated from one, Comfort from the other, and the marks on the ground seared seals under the windows in time. 

He walked towards Malice to take a peek at his own handy work. The waves of emotion coming through it didn't phase him. In fact, he put his arm through to grab at something and pull it out. In his grasp was a small heart with arteries spitting hell fire onto and one of the sources of the Malice. He hadn't needed more than one from the cluster anyways. 

"Mm.." 

Yea wait, he wasn't suppose to eat it. No matter how it turned up the temperature in the room or made the floor rumble with its reaction to the seals on the ground. No. He kept it in hand as he crossed his shadowy barrier and repeated the process with Comfort. However, the heat that came from it was a welcome embrace. 

"I'm sure your old homes won't miss you."

 Issorai mused to the two organs in armor plated hands.

His smirk was highlighted from the light around them. Wonderful. The two organs were sucked into an orb made of shadow and compressed as the sphere shrunk in on itself till it was the side of a medium pill. He pointed at it, ignoring the electric charge to the atmosphere around it. 

{The entrance leads to his courtyard. All portals connected to the rooms in his lodge will cease to exist as soon as he leaves. The energy it takes to travel universes is immense and he has been storing up on it and on what to take and survive in his universe if there isn’t enough liminality in it}.
