Someone left a few pieces of blank paper up at the registers, so I took them for myself to make another cash register doodle! This time featuring Luke from the webcomic Grey Eyes. Done with a ballpoint pen, and a blue highlighter I found in the drawer, so I decided to give him a try. He didn’t turn out quite right... not as soft as I’d like. Without any references to work from this is the best I could do. Oh well, it was a first try.

He’s undressed for two reasons. One, because I was at work and didn’t have the means to pull up clothing references from the comic. And two, I wasn’t up for coming up with something on the spot.

I’ve followed and loved her work here on dA for years, and it was the perfect opportunity to FINALLY get to draw these guys! (Of course, I left it all to the last minute and submitted on the day of the deadline XD).

My (not) last Grey Eyes mug from @drmistytang arrived! They all feature Luke, the gorgeous man-elf from her amazing comic, Grey Eyes. Honestly...I'm blown away by how beautiful these cups (re: Luke) are. The artwork is so vivid and detailed---they have to be the prettiest mugs I own! I like how they did it in Ever After. They were in France, but all the actors spoke with English accents. At the very least, it's CONSISTENT.

RIGHT I just want some consistency. Like probably on of the only examples I can think of where I’d make an exception is in Ratatouille the only characters who didn’t have a French accent were either rats or Not French (Linguini was Italian).
