Suggesting this as a potential game option only because I genuinely enjoyed the game (and actually cried during the end of Act 1? Which threw me off lol) but if harvest moon meets dragon age (that’s the only way I can describe this jrpg) is something you’d like, you might like Rune Factory 4? It’s by no means perfect (and does have a few fanservice problems/moments in it. And Leon, as much as I like him, his whole aesthetic is problematic) but I had a lot of fun playing it. Its available on switch and steam, and might be an option to consider? Also no need to answer/please don’t answer this publicly lol, I just wanted to share a game suggestion lol

“Oh, are you just assuming I’m kissing someone, then?” Pandora teases, shoving her playfully.

Lily rolls her eyes, a smile spreading against her will. “My sincerest apologies.”

“Mhm, no you’re right. I did choose someone, though… I’m not quite sure they did.”

“They’d be an idiot not to kiss you,” Lily mutters before she can think better of it. Whatever. That’s a very platonic thing to say, anyway. It’s just the truth.

“They are being an idiot,” Pandora agrees with that dreamy sigh of hers, “but I’m sure I can give them the nudge they need, and they’ll fold as easily as a flower.”

Lily swallows the bitter taste in her mouth. Fine. She’s perfectly fine.

“The new haircut will definitely help,” Pandora adds with a secretive smile she shoots at the mirror.

Lily catches it, pretending it’s for her. A butterfly, trapped in a bottle. She doesn’t want to let it free, she’s sick with the jealousy that burns her throat.

“Is that why you did it?”

“Mhm, no. I told you why. Though, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t secretly hoping it’d make me a bit more irresistible.” Her eyes pin Lily’s through the reflection. “Am I?”

“Always,” Lily replies, her throat dry. Trapped in those eyes. She’s just complimenting a friend, it’s okay, it’s fine, it’s nothing. Pandora is irresistible and she should never doubt it.

“Brilliant.” A blinding smile again.

“So,” Lily starts casually, leaning against the bathroom’s sink, just to create some distance, to not feel like every atom in her body is screaming at her to get closer. “Who is it?”

She just needs to know who she’s going to be mentally murdering in twenty different ways in her head tonight, to settle her nerves, nothing else. Just that. She needs a name. A culprit. Letters she can carve into her journals and burn.

Pandora chuckles, getting up from her chair, her tall lanky body all smooth and grace as she walks towards the door, opening it and swivelling to face Lily in all her glory.

Her voice is sweet, but low, rough around the edges, when she says, “Now, who’s fishing for gossip, mhm?”
