      OH, FOR THE love of— Even he’s taking an interest in it? Shouldn’t kids have more important things to pay attention to? Like school? Or playing outside? Or TV? (And he better not even think of dismissing the latter. He knows of his secret fascination with a certain action show.) …and what does he mean strange? Kids these days. 

               …Okay, that made me sound old.

      But the question remains: what should he say to him? He could deny it, but Ken would probably catch on fairly quickly. He’s always been too smart for his own good. And there’s no way he’d respond truthfully. (Oh, he knows what the truth is. The way she always manages to fluster him so is a dead giveaway. He’s just going to deny it. Yes, even to himself.) But then he starts to think, What would Akihiko say…?
