After reading the latest chapter, drive knight seemed to be very shady. How come he lost all his energy and actually seemed to be cool about it after G5 showed up? And the things he told about metal Knight doesn't actually make any sense. How come metal Knight could be this stupid to let his information getting leaked which could be used against him by the monsters after the heroes are defeated? And his interest about blast seemed to be shady and was quite unpleasant when genos interrupted.
He really did! :O Most of all, it made me feel bad for poor Sekingar, because it felt like he was getting strung along to manipulation tactics, under a false sense of security (going by Drive Knight’s claims and assessment of the situation, which often felt like redirection/deflection) so Drive Knight could phish him for sensitive HA executive information, especially on Blast.

Addressing the HA’s giant flaw in their security, when all the capable S Class heroes are occupied underground leaving their base wide open, is actually a pretty big hole the webcomic didn’t even cover. :O So I’m glad this got brought up, because it’s very true. However, blaming the HA’s blind trust in Metal Knight’s security is another thing,

Because while yes, that is a glaring issue, just why should Sekingar trust his words on this now, when he’s making such bold claims, bringing up stuff about a traitor/mole on top of it, yet vehemently blaming it all on Metal Knight instead, without any solid proof? (Again, this feels like deflection.)
Tumblr media
Hrmm, claiming Metal Knight did all this on purpose ‘because he’s a bad guy’ feels really >.> fishy too, because Orochi was just that unprecedentedly strong, not that Metal Knight lost and got captured by the MA on purpose. (Psykos is also a mastermind who uses things to her advantage too, so blaming it on Metal Knight feels pretty uhhh…) Either Drive Knight’s got some huge beef with Metal Knight in particular, or what he’s really after is to sway Sekingar into coughing up more classified HA information he wants to hear, such as…
Tumblr media
Oho? Just what the heck is with those shady darkened panels of him, and why is he prodding Sekingar so much about Blast (sounding like the broken record reddit threads asking about him) and getting in contact with him? O.o Hmm! Just what use could Drive Knight possibly have for this HA information? He’s already investigated the MA, so what else could he gain from investigating the HA too? Just who is Drive Knight actually working for? It’s pretty suspicious yeah, cause we’re getting all these mixed signals and so we can’t fully trust him.
Now, I first got weird vibes from him ever since he rationalized manipulated Sekingar into believing it’s ok that the other heroes were expendable casualties while he observed Nyan on the sidelines for data. And now here? After G5 shows up (confirming his body is not another form of Drive Knight’s), he somehow ‘lets’ Sekingar get his hand blown off (what the hell, DK could have prevented that!) and claims ‘he’s out of energy’ like whaaaaaa?? I don’t believe those flimsy convenient excuses at all. >:O
Drive Knight was suspiciously nonchalant when G5 showed up too. Even if they’re not the same person, were they in cahoots or something? Just where did DK get all his visual data of the MA cadres just from his verbal interrogations of monsters alone? >.> Unless there was another insider, or drone, collecting data where he couldn’t go? Makes their coincidences even more fishy. (Also what happened to Nyan’s body? Maybe Murata forgot to draw him.) Because just what was the defenseless Sekingar supposed to do when G5 attacked him? (It wasn’t aiming for DK either…) What if Genos hadn’t intervened in time? Was Drive Knight supposed to just stand there and watch as Sekingar became another expendable casualty too? D: Or were they (working together?) trying to pressure him into summoning Blast? It’s all just really weird and suspicious.

But now that Genos has finally showed up (yay! ;A;) things will probably get even more interesting. Because all this info Drive Knight volunteered and explained to Sekingar about Metal Knight is the kinda stuff we might have expected him to warn Genos about instead. So just what else will they discuss next time? Their second meeting, potentially enlightening conversation, and interactions are what I’m really anticipating. Though since Genos is pretty wary about trusting others who haven’t earned his respect yet, I feel he won’t get so easily strung along as Sekingar did when talking with DK. Genos will still have to get caught up to speed and updated on the current situation (that he’s missed out on this whole time). Sekingar might even tell him he’s not allowed to get involved in the mission (since Child Emperor also suspects Genos), but that won’t stop Genos either. Meanwhile the injured heroes and the runaway hostage still need to be taken care of too… So I’m pretty eager to see what Genos is gonna do, and how he’s gonna react to all of this.
