Ribbon is a SeaWing mixed with a Rain/SilkWing. They have the following abilities: bioluminesence, water breathing, pressure sensitivity (SilkWing trait), secondary wings

The only real visible RainWing trait is the ruff. Sometimes it will shift from blue to green to yellow, but has no correlation to mood.

I have another! My Rainwing, Spectacular, is my supporting role in Drippy's story. She's a bit of an outcast in Rainwing society, which as you know, is very social. She's got a deformity in her tail that causes her to have mutated joints that makes it less flexible.

She also prefers more rural areas of the rainforest. She has a hermit home built just by the border with the mud kingdom, fairly close to Drippy.

I like to think that they develop a really strong, healthy, and communicative platonic relationship. I see so little of it in media I consume and I like the comradery of it!

Speck has continued to change the more I think about her story. She's turned from this Kinkajou copy to a rural living farmer with survival skills, and the only time she's social is, eventually, with Raindrop.

Vulcan Info

Vulcan was hatched in 5,213 AS (200 years after the events of The Dragonet Prophecy) and is currently 34 years old in my story.

Vulcan resides at the old nightwing volcano island, which is now Starflight Isle, named after the late anthropologist Prof. Starflight.

The island is now home to a village of firescale, flameproof, and flamesilk dragons. Many of them are outcasts, blacksmiths, metalworkers, or just fans of lava.

At this point the volcano is stable. The island has now doubled in size due to an excess of cooled lava.

Vulcan is the owner of the largest forge in the known kingdoms. She and her team receive scrap metal and recycle it into fresh new bars to sell back to the main islands. Vulcan has no children and two partners, a Mudwing named Cardamom and a Flame Silkwing named Lilac.

Vulcan is about the size of Morrowseer.

It’s 1000 years before the War of SandWing Succession.

Rainwings are being hunted down for their scales and in hiding because the Icewing queen, Queen Gyrfalcon, has found out their scales can be preserved and used in clothing, and wants to utilize it in clothing and import it to other tribes.

Queen Minke of the Seawings’ daughter was rumoured to be involved in the trade, but she pinned the blame on her mother, thus dragging Minke into the three-tribe war.

The previous RainWing queen had an incredibly twisted mindset from her prelonged rule, but Queen Bushmaster killed her in a duel and is trying to evacuate all the RainWings and keep them safe from IceWing infiltrators.

A group of rogue dragons are attempting to collectively assassinate Gyrfalcon and let their leader take the IceWing throne.

In a cruel, war-twined world.. who will win?
