I just recently got Splatoon 3, and it kind of inspired this little doodle comic.

Hi, I saw some OC interactions with Drillburst and if it's stop available I'd like to try. This time with one of my OCs Control Switch.

Their nickname is Switch and they go by he/she/they. There is little to nothing known about them. No one knows the city she lives in, his gender, alt mode, occupation or background. But they prefer it that way. However, some believe he has some type of correlation to Cosmopolitus, a writer and the equivalent to a Cybertronian YouTuber who was offlined during the war. Along with that, there are old files saying that she previously used to study in the Jhiaxian Academy (in reality, they're Cosmopolitus)

But other than that, there's nothing else. He's rather reserved, reticent and taciturn, avoidant of people he's not familiar with. He's the type of person in a party who stays outside and only talks to her close friends or close family members (or he just doesn't attend because party's slowly overwhelm him, not that he tells anyone that).

He's also an outlier and he calls his ability "Nexus". He can create a strange thread and when it's attached to someone, he can control them like puppets and switch bodies with them (but if his body is disturbed or injured he will stop automatically).

Your oc sounds interesting! However I don't think, with Switch's tendency to avoid new people and Drill's tendency to not be super social with new people, they'd interact much. Maybe a passing glance if they were walking by each other or at a bar, but neither of them would think to start a conversation, it seems. If they were to though, they could possibly talk about something related to writing or whatever Cosmo used to do? Drill is more of a theater and film person, but there's a chance he at least heard that name mentioned. If he knew of the outlier ability, he'd find it... disturbing, but he would keep that thought to himself.

So I've talked about what Drillburst would think of Solclave, but how about vice versa? What would Solclave think of Drillburst?

Most of the time, Solclave doesn’t develop much of a connection to those he provides protection to. Usually his charges leave to continue their own lives once they feel that they are safe/can handle themselves. There’s also the few that decide to join Sol in his mission, but even then the most Sol feels towards most is simply the obligation to protect them.

It would start out the same for Drillburst. For whatever reason, Drill had ended up under Sol’s protection, and for a good while that’s all this was.

Conversations are short and few, but with time, one mentions something the other is interested in, such as music (as mentioned in your post lol). Solclave doesn’t play his hurdy gurdy often, tending to focus more on his mission and keeping vigil for any signs of danger. He seems to forget that he has more eyes, ears and hands helping him out.

Solclave might take a while to take out his instrument to play, pretty content to listen to Drillburst and his bass. He’d probably feel a sense of accomplishment when he first hears Drill play, as that would mean he had provided an environment where he feels comfortable enough to enjoy himself and his hobbies.

When Sol finally does decide to play his instrument with Drill (it takes quite a bit of convincing from not only Drill, but some of the others with him), he’s kind of hit with the realization that he has barely relaxed for himself pretty much the entire duration of his mission, and he feels some gratitude towards Drillburst for helping him enjoy himself a bit.

It’s thanks to Drillburst that Solclave learns to ease up a bit (not too much of course) and put more effort into bonding with his charges, making them feel more comfortable around him.

Solclave will always do his very best to protect his charges, but he is willing to lay down his life and sword to protect Drillburst, he doesn’t care who he has to fight off.

The publications a while ago had printed out a new face among the crowd of familiar icons and musicians that the denizens of Cybertron's indie musical scene had been used to. A face that, while uttered in forums, hadn't been incredibly big, even after the awards ceremony that mentioned him. Suddenly, though, the small-time musician had caught the eye of the publications that helped boost the fledgling dreams of independent musicians and street performers, and before long, a smiling face fell into the hands of the subscribers that month. Only recently were music fans beginning to recognize the passing performer; now, they were growing in numbers.

In an excerpt of the interview held after the performance of "The Ebb and The Flow" at the South-South Radio club and bar in Tetrahex, Drillburst of Velux said that "it gets hard letting go of things and moving forward. Everyone knows that. That's why when we do, we should cherish it for what it's worth. That song is my favorite."

Ok in another post I read up to 3 ocs so. Seeker trine. One soldier and two pastel prinesses.

Taffy (pink) and Breeze (blue) who their whole lives (or so they thought) lived on a forgotten planet where seekers are rare. The boys lived in luxury spending days on dancing/gymnastics (aerial too), running their vlog or whatever social accounts (main topics being fashion, beauty, cool events etc), taking part in contests/shows for seekers, being celebrities and influencers and in all this - being their owner's pretty little boy toys. Their lives changed dramatically when for a reason I didn't come up with yet they had to run away and they crashed into the harsh reality. Luckily they were quickly directed to a safe place on Earth where they could hide till the war ends.

On their way there they're accompanied by Renfrew - military seeker who "is gonna die of sparkbreak anyway" after just losing his second trinemate. On the way to Earth turns out Breeze is his long lost first trinemate. Luckily even if the memories got wiped out from the processor, the spark remembered the bond.

Once on Earth they finally get some time to make sense of their situation. Ren slowly gets better tho for a long time he remains paranoic about potentially losing Breeze. Breeze is trying to deal with memory loss and figure out how to be himself. Taf's Stockholm syndrome is still going strong and he remains a dumb little slut till his ex-owner brutally shatters his worldview. Thanks to the trine's and friends' support he gets out of his identity crisis and slowly heals from the trauma and becomes his bubbly slutty self again but this time knowing his worth.

Eventually with friends they met along the way they create a Seeker Sanctuary - safe place for fliers and not only to rest and heal after the war. The pastels want everyone to experience at least a bit of luxury. To show them how nice life can be. There may not be many therapists in the post-war world but they create self help groups and chats. After success on Earth they want to make another one on Cybertron.

They'd probably meet Drill in one of the cafes where he performs. Taffy cries over one if his song as he's most emotional. The whole trine agrees they'd love Drillby to visit the Sanctuary and perform maybe during one of the poetry evenings?

The two seekers with him he’ll consider equally energetic, and depending on how off the walls they are he might either be fine with it or feel a little awkward! XD I imagine they’re meeting when Drill has just finished a gig and is cooling down at the bar, so while he’ll be flattered that they like his music, any more of the energy and his tired self might not be able to handle it XD (esp if they try to flirt lmao!)

Drillburst might think they’re a chaotic bunch if he meets them, especially Taffy and Breeze, but he could have a good conversation with Renfrew, I imagine. Loss is a heavy subject that both of them have been through; and while Drill might not say what he’s lost outright, he’ll still try and use his own life to help him. I think those two would have the strongest bond, or the longest conversation.

If they mentioned the seeker sanctuary, he’d be impressed, and he’d consider playing there if they needed someone for an evening or two.

Okay, I’m going to try this out! I’m opening the box for anyone with a tumblr account cause I wanna hear from the people!
