I could make Max a shifter guardian dog that becomes a giant feral beast when he needs to protect Chuck. BUT I think it is funnier if he stays little and cute and lovely but he also can and will eat any type of projectile fired their way. You cannot harm him, he's gonna eat your attack and you can't do anything.

Arrow? Dagger? Magic bomb or spell? It does not matter. Now it is in his stomach and he's going to throw it back at Chuck's commands (mostly because eating a stranger's weapons make his stomach hurt lol).

Fantasy au Chuck my beloved.

He doesn't know that his name means "free man" and that his title as the rightful Prince of the Wild holds more power than he thinks so. He's slowly but surely falling in love with the most unruly and unpredictable man on the whole alliance of kingdoms and he just doesn't. That the name of the man he is in love with marks him as his home. That they are perfect for each other. That he shouldn't be scared of loving wild things.

(The symbol of the Wild House is the deer, with the crown being like a pair of antlers. Raleigh's name means "deers' meadow"...)

I love Chuck such much because he's just so like his mom and he doesn't even know!!!!!!
