i have zero confidence in actually putting to words why this tired old fart makes my brain feral so i took the Vibes playlist i had for him and split it up into something less dissatisfying and more concrete. if i had to recommend any of the songs, i'd give these a listen:
mercy, washed up, losing my religion, spectacular rival, compromise, it doesn't matter why, and the fallen.
they're the most Him to me at the moment.
i also have playlists for these two,
Fujiko Jigen
but they're kinda just Vibes and not anything, like, genuinely thoughtful or meaningful lol. fujiko's cover is just an eyecatch screencap and jigen's is just a manga panel that i liked and mildly edited. dont get me wrong i love them with whatever part of my heart isnt being strangled by That Guy, but i felt no compulsion to put any effort into a truly custom cover. i think that says enough.
i'm not gonna bother linking the og zeni playlist but it is on my spotify profile (among other special interest things) if you're curious. it's just jazz. high-strung jazz and sad jazz.
recommendations ARE encouraged for ANY of the lists (asks or tags, idc), though i can't for sure guarantee i'll add them because i'm a picky motherfucker when it comes to music

A lot has already been said about this one and theres obviously a lot of disappointment that surrounds it (and for good reason, the graphics and nancy voice acting were especially disappointing imo) BUT the story was more compelling that I remember my first playthru and the overall ambience and vibes are still there if only the characters were more fleshed out and it was less reliant on dialogue and had more puzzles
