Inktober Day 6: “Star / The Kingdom”

I sometimes like to mash up different prompt lists for my inspiration! Today is from both Instagram lists #juliasinktober2023 and #archetypeinktober Esta's name means “star,” and she was the princess of the sci-fi-themed Aster Empire in the story I made for her for Dreamwoods-OCT.

The structure to the left was an orbital satellite/castle from her kingdom.

The year is 2019 and I’m still making comics about characters I made for an OCT which ended two years ago. 

The running joke is that while the majority of the royal family was enamored with Pyrrhus, Niloofar actually didn’t like him. Also, Samira didn’t like how someone with essentially her job but none of her breeding developed a superiority complex.

You know, I’m the type of person who can be proud of my old work, but sometimes I can’t help but look back and wish I was a better artist when I made some content. Pyrrhus’s hair changed between the audition and R2, but its barely noticeable because I couldn’t draw hair.

An Update on Things

Have you ever asked yourself, “Hey, why doesn’t MC post as much art as she used to?” 

There’s is a logical explanation. Firstly, I’m just not as into Tumblr anymore. There’s a lot of bullying on this website. Although I haven’t been bullied while on this social network, I don’t like being associated with it. Also, I’ve been spending the last few months on an OCT (Original Character Tournament).
