I just have a couple questions about some Chapter Zero stuff.

After what happens with Vanya, what happens to Medy? Is she ok? Who takes care of her after?

And does Tver ever mourn over Vanya?

Sorry it took so long to answer this! I had to ask Lubo on this one. Great questions though!

Karelia took Medy and Shoko (Vanyas cat) when he passed away, and Tver took in the chickens. She's... sad at times and she wonders where dad is, but I think eventually she gets it. She's still alive, nation immortality rubbing off and all

Also does Tver mourn over Vanya? Absolutely. He is wracked with guilt and grief, of all the things he said, things he didn't say, so much regret

I mean Priestess could be the narrator but I think Death is more fitting for the prequel

Lets talk about CZ/Dreamtalia Tver for a second while Im on my Dreamtalia kick.

So I don't like him because of how he treats Vanya in Chapter Zero. He's very cold. Not that Tver isnt entirely unjustified. He thinks Vanya abandoned him, and Tver was pretty much alone in his whole childhood. Vanya got sucked into another dimension for a long time. Im not entirely sure where or why that was though, it may have something to do with when Vanya got yoinked into the 2p world? I really don't know for sure. And as far as Im aware, Im not sure Vanya has ever tried explaining what happened to Tver.

But,

I wonder what happened to Tver once Vanya kicked the bucket. Because Tver is Vanya's kid and the last interaction those two have before Vanya dies is not a positive one.

Does Tver mourn? Is he bothered by Vanya's death at all? And if you saw my last post, I beg the question again, does Tver ever take Medy???

I cant say one way or the other but an idea I had was that maybe Tver did grieve for Vanya; and regretted being so mean to him, and knowing that being mean to him was the last thing he ever did to Vanya. I thought it humanized Tver a bit, made him more than whats shown in CZ. But I could also be way off the mark.

In that idea I mentioned, Reve also brought Tver into the dreamscape once or twice so he could "say goodbye" to Vanya one last time. (One of thr arcana are made to look like Vanya.) But Tver was only there that one or two dreams. Im not even sure Reve would do that to Tver considering he knows how Tver was toward Vanya.

When you first watched/played Dreamtalia, what about World's character spoke to you?

Well, heh, would you believe me if I said World wasn't my favorite character when I started out in the fandom? Yeah, my favorite was actually Magi, I actually went by the name 'Magi' when I first met my boyfriend, like, 5 years ago.

When I started connecting to World was in an RP group. I didn't play World, that was my friend, Kiku, and I was Magi, but my soon-to-be boyfriend and I would RP on DMs on Discord. The one that kind of started it all was a RP with World and Vanya, I was World, he was Vanya. I didn't know most of the lore yet so it was super inaccurate but... it was a start.

And then I finally found Chapter Zero, and something about the Sunset scene really.... Connected with me... And still does to this day. I started connecting to him more during the "Dark Ages" (aka Covid), and just about to graduate eight grade and going into being a freshmen during the Pandemic was really stressful.

I was getting angry more, I was upset, isolated, and that connected me with World more. I understood, finally, what he meant by "the cold", because when you're alone and scared and every seems to be against you, that's what it feels like. I was starting to discover myself during Covid, started dating my boyfriend, making friend and losing friends, it was a new stage, kind of like how the Arcana reset when there's a new host.

I originally started High School during Covid on K-12, but my undiagnosed depression, I had to leave and my mom, a teacher, taught me and my brother using Great Courses, now Wondruim. During 2021, my brother went to the school my dad was teaching and I did class alone. A lot of stuff happened that year, a lot of bad stuff, and again, that "cold", that "isolation" was scary... I clung to World with my dear life, hell, I practically have the conversation where he fuses with America in Reve's castle memorized.

I'm sorry, I'm kind of rambling but I love World, he has been with me in my lows and highs and I have to thank him for that, for being the me that I never thought I could. Even if everyone treated him like one, World really taught me that I wasn't a pawn, I was just... Me.

This is my human version of the Fauchereve from Dreamtalia. His design was mostly based on the drawing on the chalkboard England drew in the actual game and of his human and actual form in Dreamtalia: Chapter Zero. Originally, his design wasn't as detailed mostly because I had drawn him in my Health Notebook, but when I did him on my computer, he looked too plain so I added more detail to him. I also realized that the glowing parts of his jackets are white now, dang it! They were actually an ombre and I do not know how to fix it T^T

I don’t have any on hand but give me a second to think of some off the top of my head…

Ok uh, after reviewing the post, I’d say the show starts off with Vanya hanging out with Rêve and the arcana and it feels like this old man is just friends with all these funky young people but then he wakes up and the audience realizes it was all a dream

Except then Rêve appears in the mirror in his room and the audience realizes it was all real anyway. The show’s main plot would probably be Vanya leaving his responsibilities behind and Rêve manipulating him into sleeping more. We all know Vanya is smarter than Rêve but the fact that he does it anyway is kind of sad

Most show events would happen in the dream world. Standard problem-of-the-day stuff. Maybe Chariot has a new hyperfixation they want help with or maybe that scene where Strength gets sealed away happens idk

But really it’s not anything new from the actual game itself. Just in a sitcom format. I don’t really have any scenarios for that unfortunately

How about this: Vanya, World, and Rêve picking those signature flowers together (I forgot what they’re called but they’re white with red in the middle) and Rêve is glaring at World who’s looking admiringly at Vanya. Vanya is looking at the flowers

Y'ALL WHEN I SAY THE TENSION WAS REAL.

For some context, these two are married. And recently Grelle remarked that maybe she should move on from Vanya. I wanted to stir the pot so I was like "maybe you should" and Grelle stood her ground like "no, that's too cold. I won't do it." (Like first of all we love a faithful queen.)

So when I saw that Vanya and Grelle were in one of the enraged fights I was terrified.
