Look I'm not saying Delusions twiddling his fingers and dramatically spinning in office chairs because of the villagers, but I doubt their doing/did anything to stop that. Also it wouldn't surprise me if he got at least some of his ideologies from the villagers. The villagers praised exclusively him, he exclusively deserves praise. The villagers don't like illusion (pre-incident), he doesn't like illusion (pre-incident). Either or I have a lot of thoughts about them they're so silly.

The apples were never purple

The events of dreamtale were Always meant to happen, no matter what, one twin was going to end up corrupted, and in This version of the multiverse, it was Always going to be nightmare.

Ever wonder why no one ever intervened? Why, despite being such a powerful source of- everything, despite being a beacon in the multiverse, no one ever entered in from outside? Error, for example, never noticed it? Ink?

The universe was locked from the inside out from the very beginning. No one gets in, no one gets out, that's what the code dictates.

Until "the event" happens, no one is allowed to interrupt, no one is allowed to intervene, and No One is allowed to change the script.

Reapertale, _____tale, dreamtale, why is no one going in? Why is no one going out? Why do, none of them, even Suspect the existence of other universes?

The more important a universe is to the multiverse, the tighter the lock around it is, why did none stumble upon ink?

This way, its events are transpired safely, events that Need to happen, things that Cannot to be allowed to happen, events that affect the Entire Multiverse and its balance, are safely carried through.

Why does reaper only reap in his universe?

Dreamtale stays locked, safe, hidden in some corner of the multiverse until it is safe to be let out. The code tucked neat and tidy where it sits, waiting to be followed, used, the goals laid within its conscious achieved.

It goes as follows:

Nim guards the tree.

Nim dies.

Nim makes the decision to make the twins.

The twins are born.

The village moves in.

The villagers make the active decision to hurt nightmare.

The parasite calls to him.

Nightmare listens.

The apples are never purple.

Nightmare corrupts.

Nim dies again.

Dream gets trapped in stone.

Nightmare leaves.

His apples are never purple.

And then, after the script has been followed and the scene ended, the theater is open to all who wish to visit.

.... Almost.

Error is not allowed in, as he poses a threat to what parts of the script have yet to be followed (Dream waking up from the stone)

And Ink is not allowed in, as he poses a threat to the script as a Whole.

Didn't you ever wonder why everything happened as it did? Why in every multiverse, only One twin gets corrupted? Why the world shifts its balance when need be, putting the responsibility of negative emotion on Dream when Nightmare dies, and the responsibility of positive emotion on Nightmare when Dream dies?

Why dream's eyes and apples are golden and Nightmare's eyes are purple but apples black?

Dream's shirt is blue, that is alright, it is not the colour of his apples.

Nightmare's shirt is purple, that is alright, it is not the colour of his apples.

Why?

Why is it this way?

Why?

Dream's apples hold no hue, only colour.

Yet nightmare's apples hold Two hues, the colour black, iridescent purple and, and iridescent Green.

Why did the parasite do what it did? Why to nightmare? Why not dream? Why now? Why does it take his name? His identity? Why does it pretend it's always been him? Has it no name of its own? Why? Why doesn't it?

How come nightmare has all that time to eat those apples uninterrupted? How? It makes no sense now does it? How something so easily stopped was allowed to happen?

It was always Meant to happen, it was always Meant to happen here, on this day, in this time, these events, in this order.

Nightmare eats the apple.

Nightmare corrupts.

Nim dies again.

Dream gets trapped in stone.

Nightmare leaves.

The scene ends.

Why?

Nightmare was always meant to die. His body was always meant to corrupt. Dream was always meant to be trapped in stone.

Why is his soul purple but his apples black? When dream's soul is golden and his apples gold?

Why is he bullied in every universe? Swapped fate? Dreamswap? Switched destinies? Nightswap? Reset dreamtale? Swapdream?

Why is dream always So beloved?

Why does only one of them get to make it out Alive?

Maybe this was always meant to happen.

Maybe this was Always meant to happen this way.

Why are the apples black? Why is a tiny bit, a small, easily missed hue in them purple?

Why has he been reduced to a hue in a sea of black, instead of a colour?

Why isn't he the apple?

Why is he the thing trapped inside it?

Maybe he was always meant to end this way.

Why is it that, when dream corrupts and becomes shattered, nightmare suddenly uncorrupts for no apparent reason?

Can the universe not hold both of them together? Can only one of them be corrupted at a time? Can only one of them be sane and whole and Living?

Why does nightmare's name stay the same, but dream's changes? Still nightmare, so why Shattered?

Is he a foreign entity? Can It not recognise him as he is now? Is he not supposed to be this way? Is dream supposed to stay dream and nightmare supposed to be nightmare? Did it rename him? Was he supposed to stay dream? Was nightmare supposed to stay nightmare?

Was he always supposed to be corrupted? What came first, the apple or the baby? The baby or his fate? Why were his apples always black? Has he been made to be corrupted? Has this always been his fate?

Has one, then, if they are born to die, ever have been alive at all?

Why is it that they are never allowed to be the same? Why are they opposites in every way? Why can only one of them Yearn and only one of them Hate?

Why can't it hold them both Together?

The balance interrupts, the script gets confused, this was never supposed to happen, dream shouldn't corrupt, he shouldn't have an apple to eat To corrupt.

Dream's skull shatters.

It goes through its code.

This isn't supposed to happen.

Only One twin should be corrupted.

The tentacles sprout from dream's back.

It goes again.

This isn't supposed to happen.

Only One twin should be sane.

His screaming turns to garbled laughter.

It goes again.

This isn't supposed to happen.

He is corrupted. He's not supposed to be. Nightmare is corrupted. He's Supposed to be. Why can't it reverse this? This apple isn't from here, the code is foreign, it doesn't know how to reverse this.

This is not good.

This is not good at all.

The script isn't being followed. It needs to be followed. Only One Twin Should Be Corrupted.

.. So then It looks to nightmare.

The multiverse, the beautiful multiverse, in all of its Sentient, Living glory, turns to look at nightmare, and rewrites the code to fix it.

He uncorrupts suddenly, with no explanation as to why, and shattered's bones break to shards and rearrange themselves inside his corruption.

It changes his name, as the "Dream" supposed to follow the script no longer exists, and in his place this foreign entity lays, it renames him "shattered" in its code, and they are no longer the same person.

Are they?

Nightmare gets an eye back, shattered loses his.

Nightmare's tendrils disappear, shattered gains his.

Nightmare Uncorrupts... And Shattered becomes corrupted.

And all balance, again, for that single, glorious moment,

Is restored.

Concept is based off of this and is also mixed with the idea of the one turning younger remembering nkthing that you wrote about a couple days ago

Essentially: Dream tries to heal his brother after accidentally hurting him. It ends up going wrong

Lemme know if I should write more cause this is just a basic concept, but pretty much anyone can continue it how they like

A Tiny Nightmare

Dream shook as he took in what was in front of him. He was going to kill Sci. Now, he didn't just have a brother with a cracked eye. He had a 5 year old brother that would be in a huge amount of pain when he woke up.

This wasn't good.

But, on the other hand... he could save his brother before the prophecy would take over. He could raise his brother to be more like him and less like the villan he was predicted as.

He smiled, then started to laugh. He could. He could fix it all before it began. He just had to make sure that Nightmare followed in Dream's footsteps, rather than anyone like Nightmare's old friends.

Dream's thoughts paused when he heard a small whimper and felt fear and pain. Oh. Oh, he forgot to try and numb Nightmare's eye. Quickly, he turned to the now waking Nightmare and tried his best to numb the pain with his magic. The 5-year-old quickly clung to Dream's hand, since his golden magic was warm and Nightmare was feeling cold. He tried his best at a soft smile.

"Hi, Sunshine."

"S-Sunshine...?" His voice was so quiet, "Is that m-my name...?"

"No, it isn't... you don't remember?"

"Remember wh-what...?"

"Anything..."

Dream's mouth pressed into a line when the child shook his head, then he came up with an idea.

"Well... your name is Alacrity."

"A-Alacrity...? What's that mean...?"

"Positivity. You're my little brother, after all, so you need to have a name like mine."

"So... wh-what's your name th-then...?"

"Dream."

"I-It's nice to meet y-you, Dream... even if... we've m-met before..."

Sanses AUs (Names/Nicknames)

This is my list of (Names/Nicknames) for the Sanses. I particularly don't care if a (name/nickname) is feminine. I'll try to give my reasons for every decision of (names/nicknames).

PS: I plan to write a Romantic Reader Story with these Sanses & including the Papyruses. I'll add a link once the story is up. Also, credit me for the more unique (names/nicknames) of the Sanses.

SANSES AUs:

OG Sans: Vanilla (Nilla) - Vanilla, basic & plain ice cream flavor. Nilla, a shortened version of Vanilla. Nilla can mean Moon & Glorious. So, you can make a connection with those meanings.

UNDERFELL Sans: Red/Reid - A simple name for Fell Sans. I even thought about a respelling of Red, so Reid.

UNDERSWAP Sans: Blueberry (Bly) - Blueberry is a simple and common name for Swap Sans. Bly is a nickname, in case Blueberry is a weird name. Bly means 'Friendly'.

OUTERTALE Sans: Sirius (Siri) - Sirius means 'glowing' & is the brightest star "Dog Star". Siri is only a joking nickname, you don't have to necessarily use it.

REAPERTALE Sans: Grimm - The "Grim" Reaper and has the meaning of 'bad fate'. (Name Idea - balladeer on Quotev)

ERRORTALE Sans: Ruru - A random name from kingmasn22 (DeviantArt). It's different enough for me. It doesn't have a meaning.

INKTALE Sans: Dalí (Dolly) - Dalí is the surname of a Spanish surrealist artist, Salvador Dalí. Dolly sounds similar to Dalí, and Dolls are emotionless.

AFTERTALE Sans: Geno - A common name for Aftertale Sans.

DUSTTALE Sans: Fai - Fai means 'Fault' in Welsh. In Chinese Origin, Fai means 'growth' or 'beginning. (Name Idea - balladeer on Quotev/ Chinese Name Origin Meaning - Me, lol)

DREAMTALE Sans: Dream - A common name for Dream Sans. Dream is actually a name, so Sans can continue with this name.

UNDERLUST Sans: Zeal - Zeal has the definition of 'great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective', so it's passion. Passion is also a name used for Lust Sans. But I favor Zeal more.

HORRORTALE Sans: Saint - Saint means 'Holy'. (Name Idea - balladeer on Quotev)

FELLSWAP Sans: Malina - Malina is a name for raspberries, however, Malina is considered a feminine name (Though I don't care). I could change the name to Malino but personally doesn't hold the same chime.

KILLERTALE Sans: Enzo - Enzo is a name for "Winner", “king,” “owner,” or “rich ruler". Originally I would have chosen Enso as a name, but it doesn't have a meaning. Enso Knives is a company that makes Cutlery and More. This would have been the perfect name since KillerSans uses knives, but the lack of meaning of Enso doesn't sit right with me.

BIRDTALE Sans: Corvus (Raven) - Corvus means 'Raven'. There is no need to explain why this fits BirdSans.

CANDYTALE Sans: Kandy - Kandy means "clarity, whiteness; sweet". This fits well with CandySans, and I changed the C to a K just to slightly switch the name up.

For the ones I do know:

DreamSwap:

Initially? Just curiosity. The Finches are going to get mixed up a lot and they’re going to be really confused why they don’t seem to be much different from each other

But then the Horror Squad will start fucking with everyone. Usually by chasing them around like they’re going to kill them. They’ll probably mostly just bother the normal Meme Squad

Delusion will attempt to get DS Dream on his side and merge their JRs, but Dream will realize very quickly that Delusion is in fact delusional and the horror squad weren’t just being little shits when they suggested that nickname, and that’ll be fun

Gouge will probably just ignore everyone unless she’s given good reason not to. The only one she was really curious about was Ink, but she turned out to be boring

Hunter will try to make friends with Blue. Blue will be perfectly happy with this until he visits Hunter’s house. Hopefully Blue will be able to keep his phone on him bc Orange will probably not be thrilled to have him in particular there

Spindle, unless we’re in the Final Girl Finch ending, is not going to care about his alternate, or Pulaski’s but he might confuse Bobby for Fester if Fester’s not around. Maybe.

Pulaski is going to try to stay away from their alternates, especially if Fester doesn’t know about them yet

Fester is probably going to want to want to make Bobby and Hacker and Randy his servants, though whether they’re just going to be like Pulaski or Fester’s going to turn them into demons like he did with Spindle depends on the story you wanna spin

So basically it’ll be very fun for most of the H!DS characters, but not very fun for the normal DS fools JDJDHDHDHD

Bloodlust!DS

Currently I mostly just know about the Meme Squad from that AU but oh BOY

The squads would get along GREAT

They’d go on murder sprees and the Horror Squad would probably show the Bloodlust Squad their Backrooms maze and let them borrow it and they’d have movie nights and everything. Slash and Hematite in particular would probably be besties

Delusion would…probably not be thrilled BDSJD

He doesn’t need duplicates of the Horror Squad running around. There’s so many people calling JR about it and it’s just giving him a headache. Vulture please take them back he can’t focus on his perfect world with them here

I don’t know enough about the other characters yet to say how they’d react to their alternates

Differently from the Underfell list, this one is not focused solely on Underswap, cuz there's some more AUs that got a lil'swapping :)

Underswap- the classic, am I right

Fellswap- Underfell+ Underswap, it's a dictatorship around here

Fellswapx- another take on Fellswap:)

Swapfell- Underfell+ Underswap, it's very capitalist uhuu

Jumbletale- some role swapping here and Gaster is alive. Papyrus helps the human in their journey while Sans is scared and violent against humans

Inverted fate- more role swapping. After Asriel fucked up, the whole underground swapped their characters. Now frisk, flowey and Papyrus are on a journey :) MY FAVORITE AU

UT storyshift- a child falls to the underground and is found by the caretaker papyrus. I like this one, it's all in game sprites :D

Alterswap- Altertale + Underswap. In this one, Sans is a timid caretaker of the ruins while Toriel is a cutie pie who's very excited and lovely. (And I'm low-key in love with lazy ass asgore)

Eclipsetale- This AU is mix between Dreamtale and Underswap! I love the combo 💕

SwapOut- Papyrus literally swapped out with someone we all know :)

Kingdom of the Crystal sky- kinda inspired by storyshift 💕

The other puppet- a Deltarune where the main characters got role swapped with the secondary bosses.

Underforgotten- This AU is another take on the Underswap AU where everyone got killed but sans :0

Storyswap color- This AU is another take on storyshifted but with a mix of Underswap. Is cool :)

Pairswitch - An au where character pairs from Undertale switched with each other

Reversed Context - it's just the swapping of the freaking world building. Nothing to it.

Underrune-a swap between the characters from Deltarune and Undertale :)

Ghost switch- role swapping between Asriel and Chara :)

The old monster of the ruins- some old lil role swapping happened here

Firefly Tales Lore & Notes

Firefly Tales, as said in the user description, is Undertale’s multiverse in post-apocalyptic state that’d been spread from a mishaps in the coding that tampered terribly with the fate of the timelines, other pieces of important coding that’d change plenty of other things and characters permanently.

Mishaps & Impacts

This multiverse, slightly alternate to the original, takes place as universes were still new; everyone is—or was—younger than currently dated (in terms of irl). As its codes needed to be checked by those who can see them regularly, one day what became a routinely checkup had been delayed and the code glitched. Though it was still momentarily, the impact was severe enough to where the damage of the glitch remained permanent. Inside some important universes, things that were supposed to happened hadn’t happened; what was not supposed to happen, and many of the times never, had happened. There had been accidents displayed around the multiverse because of this not-so-little mishaps in the coding, and the impact of these incidents changed lives and traumatized lots; it surely was enough to make one cruel soul turn quite pathetic, and sometimes slightly softer than before if they were lucky.

Another thing that happened in the coding was an altering of personality, though it luckily wasn’t enough to completely change personality. Only a few things were altered. For example, Ink, who has no universe, soul, or feelings, is not entirely emotionless even without a dose of his vials. He now has only faded emotions and has one small piece—about 8%—of a soul enough to give him those feelings, even if it were all faded. He’s still apathetic, daring, and great at acting, though.

Timeline Notes & Events

The official timeline to the story hasn’t been finished yet, but please do know that, due to the coding bug, the X-Event never happened and the Xtale universe never got wiped out. Furthermore, it was 499 years in after Dream had been trapped in stone in Dreamtale when the accident happened.

Currently, it’d been ten years since it happened and residents of the universes have grown accustomed to how lots have taken advantage of these events, having began committing various crimes including murder— which was when a variety of mafias (mainly to take advantage of the many opportunities that lay) were created in universes that had been affected by the coding accident that way. In fact, Underfell had gotten worser, and the same happened in Horrortale, its spin-offs, etc.; there were riots, an increase in murder rates, and gangs and mafias where there wouldn’t normally be any formed. Underlust had also gotten more fierce as well; less monsters were lustful, meaning there were a number of r*pes happening there than prior to the coding mishaps (because of this, Lust, his brother, and some of his unaffected friends decided to leave Underlust)— and there were many traumatic things happening with other universes, especially the already traumatic ones.

The original Outertale (though not its varients) had an accident during the glitch where comets and asteroids didn’t sustain their original path in the solar system and went out of course. As a result, an asteroid that was affected struck the moon. Luckily, it wasn’t all that big, but it yet still left a big imprint in many lives— including Outer, who became partially blind by the blinding light display, and developed PTSD. Because of this event, residents of Outertale—who had also never heard of the multiverse they’re living in—had to leave the universe, packing their things in fear of another similar catastrophic event occuring like the previous. Swap, from Underswap, was like a friend to Outer, so he decided to help him clean and clear up the rocky satellite object; to help monsters move away from where they’ve seen others dust, and where they themselves nearly lost their lives. Swap!Alphys and Swap!Toriel decided it’d be best to add a new branch to the royal guard, which they called the Universe Aid Team (UAT), that would help other universes that had also been affected by their own catastrophic event in a variety of effective ways (relocate residents to more safe universes, care for those too traumatized by giving them therapy and helping them with needs, etc.).

Due to all the negative impacts, blockades have been built to protect those universes—and perhaps individuals who don’t have any—that haven’t been affected from those that have been. Undynes, their teams, Papyruses, and other characters work in those guardly forces to man those blockades. Because of that, it’s now considered taboo to have any sort of relations with someone on the side you’re not considered to be on- unless you’re of high power (UAT member, program leader, etc.) and you have required business with the other who has a certain role in that society.

Setting, Focused Characters, Etc.

The story surrounds Cross (Blanco) and Ink (Chrome), both having the need to survive and cope with the major changes and new realities to their lives. And yes, I chose for this story to be mainly Crink (crossxink), though there are also sideships yet to be chosen on my other social media accounts. The setting mostly takes place when a lot of universes where the human reaches the surface and chooses to let monsters free; the result of the coding mishaps allowed a lot of overgrowth covering buildings that couldn’t maintain a clean-looking state, and rebellions, riots, and other crime commiting actions are frequently caused.

A lot of universes’ setting remains unchanged, and a council had been created to help monitor those who have been impacted negatively. The council created a prison for those who can’t be changed, as their plan was to heal the multiverse even if it seemed useless. Classic!Sans and Core! Frisk are the main leaders, as Ink’s apathy toward those in the AUs didn’t seem any help at all to their plans. Core, who blames themself for not looking after the multiverse’s code that day, does extra work and is working on adding any additional programs that’d help the multiverse recover. However, when characters from a universe has shown negative change, they boot them out of the council.

AUs like Undertale, Underswap, Swapfell, Piratetale, etc., run the council entirely since they have been unchanged and are one of the elder universes. Chosen characters from those universes, like Toriel, help make decisions depending on the background of that universe and those characters. Some characters are chosen to become a part of programs (ex: Undynes, Papyruses and some Sanses with the UAT).

Dreamtale: Mirrored Fates

(Note: While this is a Dreamswap-Esc AU, I didn't call it Dreamswap since two AUs with a name like that already exist.)

(Other note: The Spirit of The Tree here is Male, Because Swap. I just thought that'd be a nice touch.)

This is essentially an AU I made based on Dreamswap and SwapDream respectively.

Essentially, it started the same as Dreamtale. However, Dream saw the bullying. He saw his brother constantly being abused, and tried to stop them. Little changed, and he saw how manipulative and dark the people were acting. How apathetic they were to suffering, and after a long time, he began to become apathetic himself. He developed Sociopathy.

Now, don't be hasty. He isn't just immediately a villain. He was still friends with Nightmare, and eventually, Nightmare was able to convince the bullies to stop, and even befriended them. (Insert Deltarune Sans Joke here.) However, one day, the wise old man told a prophecy. Of a final battle of The forces of good and evil. Whilst he rarely told of the future, everything he told ended up being true. Minor or Major.

Sage as he was, he often avoided being vague. He however, created a prophecy. A Hero would rise up, and defeat Darkness once and for all. What form would Darkness take? He was rather unclear. Darkness represented evil, and then he said of the hero that he was a humble man, and not only any man or monster, but an emotional guardian. Now, this reached Dream's ears. Given The Man's often Accuracy when it came to prophecies, Dream of course was rather full of himself. Of course it would be him! Nightmare was Negativity, Evil, and Darkness. Dream would rise up and stop him, and what a fantastic tale it would be!

Dream thought of course, any alternative was impossible. While the evil may not be his brother, he knew he was obviously the hero of the prophecy. He began to get annoyed. Nightmare began to be warmed up to by the people of the village, after they had accepted him. Dream found this unfounded, and declared it openly. Of course, due to his vanity, the villagers grew annoyed, and began throwing objects and insults at him. Dream, enraged, walked over to the tree of feelings, grabbing a negativity apple.

(Btw here, The Apples don't change when touched. They just hurt, kind of like Dream's positivity arrows hurt Nightmare, rather than just being negativity'd.)

Then Dream ate it, declaring that he was an incorruptible spirit. The people of the villagers backed up in fear, afraid of what would happen. Dream however, began to feel pain and suffering. Dream refused defeat, and noticing their fear, staggered up. "See? I am not corrupt!" He declared. The villagers backed up once more, as Dream sat there, waiting for admiration. His face turned to grimace. "Fine, I shall show again then!" He said, as he ate another negativity apple, and another, and another. He became to weak, as he tried to reach for the last negativity apple, only to fall frail, as his body began to melt and dust from all this negative energy. Nightmare, in fear of his brother's death, quickly grabbed a positive apple, giving it to Dream. Dream ate it, and it gave him his strength back. But more than before.

Dream had a taste of power, and he wanted more. He took more positivity apples, consuming them. As he ate more and more, he grew more powerful. Until the tree was almost entirely barren. There was only one negativity apple left. Nightmare staggered back. Dream lifted his arms up, as wings sprouted from his back. He had fused The Positive and Negative Energy; bending it to his will. He turned to the people. The Disgusting peasants, who didn't bow to him. He raised his arms. The Sun glew brighter, as Nightmare tried to stand in its way, shield them with shadow, but he was only but a boy, fighting against The Sun itself. It began to melt the people, melting their very skin and bones, giving them a slow and painful death. Nightmare couldn't help any of them, and could barely help himself as he began to melt. He stumbled towards the tree, begging his father for his strength. He fumbled around, grabbing The Negativity apple. He heard the voice of his father. "Eat it, I have imbued the last of my power into it. It will save you, my son." The voice said. Nightmare listened, his teeth sinking into the apple, as he ate it, it imbued him with its power, as his aura pushed Dream back, as Dream was caught off guard. The Sun turned back to normal. Those who had been hiding behind areas of shade, or somehow evading the sun, turned. It was back to a normal day, but it turned to rain, as Dream and Nightmare circled each other. Dream gloated about the fact he saw as Obvious. Nightmare only held 1/1000th of the power he did. But he underestimated it. In truth, that was the voice of their father. He had imbued his power into the apple. It was much more powerful than any other. But dream still had the advantage. Not only was it day, where he was most powerful. But he still did have many more. Sure it was one strong apple, but it doesn't do much against the unlimited power dream had. Nightmare knew his brother was no more, corrupted by his own inhibition. Nightmare summoned an aggressive weapon, unlike his brother of the original Dreamtale.

A Rapier's handle appeared in his hand.

The two entered a battle for the ages, but it was looking bad. Dream was to powerful, especially with the sun. Nightmare stood no chance, and was barely able to fight back. Eventually, as all hope seemed lost, The Sun exited the horizon, and the full moon rose.

Imbued with its power, Nightmare fought back, and disarmed Dream from The Claymore he wielded. Nightmare slashed Dream across the chest, wounding him. Then, with one last blast of power, he slammed his wounded brother into the tree. Sealing him in there. The energy was rebalanced. Nightmare took up the mantle of his Fallen Brother. He was now The Guardian of both Energies.

But... this would not be eternal.

500 years later, as The Sun rose, a yellow crack formed in the tree, as Dream tore his way out. Angrier than ever. Sadly, Nightmare was resting on the tree, startled to see his brother crawling out, fine, and very very angry.

Due to it being Dawn, Nightmare knew that he stood no chance. He remembered their battle 500 years ago. While he himself didn't want to run, he knew what he had to do. He had to protect Negativity. He fled, evacuating those of the village, which was now a city. It was to no avail. Dream began taking their souls, and puppeteering them. He claimed the souls, and the beings, humans and monsters alike, became soulless husks. Serving Dream's Every whim. Dream felt no remorse, as he destroyed everything. Humans and Monsters were cruel entities. Why should he give them MERCY? They were just weak power sources to him, nothing more. After all, Dream would give them a utopia. The least they could do was assist him in creating this utopia. Nightmare fled from the city, fearfully. The spirit of his father gave him advice, and Nightmare escaped to a different AU, as Dream conquered his home.

Basically,

Dream's a Megalomaniacal Sociopath who believes that he is the being from the prophecy. Every "Minor" thing he does is simply excusable to him. A necessary sacrifice. Due to his Sociopathic State, he doesn't think with morality. Kind of like Flowey from The Original Game.

Now, if you're wondering about AUs, well, that'll take more time to write down. But similar to Dreamswap, The Characters in each AU are different.

The only character that's mostly the same to Dreamswap is Blue. (I call him Underswap Sans mostly, since, I have something of a thing against the name "Blueberry," but if you need a nickname, I just call him Crossbones. Or just call him blue still, lolol.)
