Saw your tags about the photobooks and it's kind of sad that you're probably right. Like, I'm not saying the company hasn't made missteps (god knows, incompetence is their middle name), but if you took away the eco-bag in the dreamlantis set, it boils down to the stansdard merch price. The fandom isn't ready for the conversation about how companies involved in environmental solutions like the eco-bag manufacturers have some absolutely predatory pricing though. That would require actual thought.

DCC is great but they're making some pretty significant missteps at present.

1) lack of promotion during the May comeback. They did weekly idol, k909, and idol radio and only promoted for two weeks.

2) no view goals for bonus content

3) first concert in the Philippines (yay!) but most likely booked a venue too large for a first time stop

4) the "world tour" that's just North America. They just came here. They've been here several times since last April. US fans can't keep paying to see them back-to-back, and it's decreasing demand if they keep coming this regularly (I get it, the English album is coming, but it also could've come next year)

5) ignoring Latin American and Asian fans. These are the places where demand is very high for touring, but DCC, for some reason, refuses to acknowledge that. They're gonna hurt if those fans pull their support. From what I've seen, in terms of organizing and voting, etc. it's those non-American i-somnias that put in work to get DC wins, votes, and streams. And they feel like they're being ignored.

6) with the photo books and the fuck-ton of fan signs with little content in exchange (in terms of promotions, variety shows, reality shows, special clips...), the fans are just starting to feel used. I mean fans are always being used for money, that's how it works lol but the agreement is that as a fan, you get something in turn to feel appreciated. The executives are missing that part

DCC treats DC very well, but they're not being very kind to their fan base at the moment.
