How would you like Euphoria S3 to open? How would you like the first episode to close out?

oh fuck, ok so we know there's gonna be a time jump, (we don't know how many months or years) and bc i feel almost the entire cast is getting so busy this might be the last season (maybe/maybe not) still I think I would like for ep 1 to start with rue getting out of rehab (her mom finally found her a place) paralleling s1, but this time rue is actually sober and plans to keep it that way. she would narrate what happened with maddy, cassie, (hopefully kat as well), and jules. there's gotta be a party bc it's euphoria and it would be nice if she goes with lexi, maybe they get ready together or lexi doesn't really want to go bc she doesn't want rue to get triggered but rue tells her that it's fine and they finally go, and shit goes down at the party like always.

throughout the episode maybe we get an update on what happened to fez and faye, and bc im an impatient bitch I would like for him to get out of jail in ep 1 but I want him to come out in a slow motion sequence (like s2ep1) with ICE (we should do drugs) playing in the background, I would go insaaane!!!

and to end the episode? I don't know, maybe laurie finds out rue is finally out and she reaches out to her somehow to let her know it's time to pay her or something like that?? I don't know, it'll be nice to just see where everyone has been after such a long time (both in the euphoria world and irl)

if you are a writer, anything new you'd like to tackle?

this is a great ask! thank you! As a reader: I'd like to see more out of the box fics. Unique concepts or takes on tropes/AUs. And while I'm not super into copy/paste retellings of popular media AU's, I'd love to see more people flex their creative mind muscles and take a concept and turn it into their own thing. Like it's okay to stray from the original plot y'all, encouraged even. Just, idk, I'd like to see more authors take risks I guess? And I don't mean write out of your comfort zone, I mean that weird idea you have floating around in your head? yeah that one. Write it. Even if you doubt there's an audience for it, there definitely is. (just like tag your shit okay? it'll help that audience find you, promise.)

As a writer: I'm taking my own advice and writing more weird shit. I have some Very Specific AU's in mind, and idk if anyone is really going to be interested in them, but fuck it, I wanna write them. I'm not going to share any of them here right now, but know that I have some wildcards up my sleeve for later this year!

Keep in mind I didn’t even like list every fic I could think of cause I realized halfway through thinking of them that I’d be naming the whole fexi county 😭 but THESE are great reads and by really phenomenal never the same was transformed and rebirthed writers. I’d also really urge to go through their accounts too. They’re excruciatingly talented with a WIDE WIDE range of type of fics (And If you need a longer list, I am more than happy to write you one with more users. I wish I could include them all).

If you prefer one shots (I did list multi chaps but they’re great!), I found a video to help you do that on your own :) utilizing the tags for angst, fluff, etc will also help narrow down the search.

Left heartbroken and contemplating the benefits of never leaving her apartment again, Lexi makes a drunken decision to take one last trip for no reason other than to help her forget. Fezco, on the other hand, is intent on trying to find a way to help her learn how to heal.

most popular would def be That’s Where You’re Wrong but I think that’s just cuz I published that during the height of the fandom 

least popular strictly by kudos would be Every Other Freckle which is funny cuz it’s the shortest but I remember it took me longer than I thought to finish it, truly a labor of love 

6. What fic didn’t perform as well as you thought it would?

mmm I didn’t really have hard set expectations but I guess The Fire and the Thud just because it’s longer but a lower kudos ratio if you compare word count i guess? but for a multi-chap that isn’t complete yet, i get it 

7. What fic performed way better than you thought it would?

body paint, really pleasantly surprised both with myself being able to execute an idea i’d had for a while, and also with people’s lovely comments about it. My first fic That’s Where You’re Wrong also had a ton of comments/kudos right away but again I think that’s down to timing. With that being my first ever published fic it was nice encouragement, though!

Hmmmm….Probably Sweetest Little Liar. I actually submitted that as a Hellcheer prompt fill and it’s weird because it’s the 2nd story in my Hellcheer series and the 3rd story actually has more hits (although fewer kudos)? I think I might’ve some of that to myself because (a) I was posting during the holidays (which I feel is usually a time when there’s less reader engagement) and (b) I posted the 3rd story pretty quickly after (within a few days), so I don’t know it really had a chance to find readers. 

7. What fic performed way better than you thought it would?

Oooooo….probably Prairie Doll. You wanna talk about writing pure fucking crack, the kind of story that’s the definition of “write for yourself”???? The fact that anyone else has enjoyed that story with me floors me. lol

8. What was your favorite fic you wrote from 2022?

Hmmmm…From a story development standpoint, probably Prairie Doll because it’s really stretching my creative storytelling muscles. From a “holy shit, I can’t believe I pulled that off!!!” standpoint, I’d have to say Private Dancer. The fact that I functionally wrote a whole ass book in like 4 months blows. My. mind. 🤯😂🤯😂

to bring you home by MissAtomicBomb – Lexi as a journalist who falls in love with Fez after she keeps finding herself at his hotel + hot smut???? What’s not to love!!!

sweet dream, saccharine by myztify – I am a Cash truther and my girl myztify keeps me fed!! Ash is the bassist of a popular hair metal/rock band and Cassie is the sexually-empowered groupie who steals his heart. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve reread this.

a thrill beyond compare by MissAtomicBomb – if you like some Dark Fexi, this is the story for you! Lexi goes on the (temporary) run with Fez after he kills Nate at the NYE party and things get hot ‘n’ heavy.

baby i just need a thug by myztify – another Cash story (with a sprinkle of Fexi). Cassie and Ash start off in a bad place here, but communication and adulting eventually prevail. Bonus points: Ash beats the shit out of Nate for disrespecting Cassie! 😍😍

this town is only gonna eat you by gigi_originally – this is a WIP but I absolutely love the story! Lexi & Cassie wind up coming to work for Kitty (Lexi as a bookkeeper, Cassie as a stripper). Lexi & Ash wind up getting super tight and Fez & Lexi develop a mutual crush on each other. This is one I always eagerly look forward to its updates!

hear me screaming, heavy breathing by myztify – this is the 1st story to baby i just need a thug. Shows how Cassie & Ash get together. Super hot and shows Cash as a bit of an investigative duo as they try to figure out whether Lexi is pregnant. 👀👀

TASTE by myfemininedivine – another WIP, but my girl is CRUSHING it!!! Each month Lexi focuses on an indulgence, and the fic charts Fexi’s developing relationship and how Fez plays into Lexi’s various desires. The descriptions and the feelings between Fexi are so beautifully described. This story makes me feral.

His veins like telephone wires by myfemininedivine – I am kicking my own ass for not downloading because it’s not on AO3 anymore. 😭😭😭😭😭It was sooooo good though. Lexi and Fez accidentally swapped phones after a run in at a club, and come to fall in love as they get to know each other through texts. 

One More Time, Steal My Breath by DeliriumsDelight7 – this is a 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Hellcheer fic. If you like your smut kinky, consensual, and really tastefully done have I got a fic rec for you! Bonus: the chapters are suuuuuuuper long and the character development between Chrissy and Eddie is fantastic. Another fic that makes me rabid!

Dirtbag by betts – if you like your smut with a healthy dose of angst, this Hellcheer fic is gonna hit you right in the feels. This follows Eddie and Chrissy over the years after Chrissy marries Jason, but keeps coming back to Eddie as the “other man” and the emotional toll that takes on them both.

Hmm, maybe I’m just a self-doubter bcs all of my fics perform better than I think they will 😂 Always posting new fics with the idea that this may be some highly specific plot that only I like so I’m always pleasantly surprised.

It’s been MANY years since I was in high school, so I was hesitant that it would flow naturally but the response was great. Honestly got overwhelmed by the reception from chapter 1 and had to crush so many insecurities to write chapter 2. 

8. What was your favorite fic you wrote from 2022?

Definitely Let’s Try This Again Maybe it’s because it’s a gift but it’s the only fic of mine I can read back and enjoy. 

9. What was your favorite fic that somebody else wrote in 2022?

Nooooooo not just one. I’ll do seven for the number of fics I wrote but there are so many more. 

five star sweetheart by @melo-baby Not only is this like the pinnacle of creativity and romance but it spoke to a special little place in my heart. 

Prairie Doll by @sunshinebunnie Was late to this one but was such a fan of all their other works that I knew I’d love it…now i’m just obsessed.

to bring you home by @stannisfactions  I talk about it enough but this really is such a fantastic work. The Fezhotel is a national landmark and I’m chaining myself to the doors if it’s ever in threat of being torn down.

God’s lonely man by @fiera-di-scarborough Could really pick like three different ones from Giorgia bcs I’m never done with a fic of hers without at least 3 favorite lines that made my heart stop, but what Lexi makes for Fez in this fic is just 🥺

Taste by @myfemininedivine Devoured it all in one night because I couldn’t stop reading. This one…this one leaves me breathless and the angst hits so good. 

Hollywood and Vine by @fantasydee The characterization in this one is just off the charts insanely good.

It’s also the fic i also credit with getting me writing fanfic because I made a tumblr to follow for updates then started following others then was like fuck it let me write this weird kidnapping fic that I’ve mapped out in my head and have been praying for someone else to write
