in a hyperthetical modern au, what tv shows or music you think your characters would like?
Oh this is such a question.
MerSMP: Gyn I feel would really enjoy shows like Blue-Eyed Samurai and other action & romance shows. Lots of animated TV. He'd also really enjoy more melancholy music and ballads. Think Livingston and Imagine Dragons.
BoundSMP: Armor likes rock. Metal, soft rock, hard rock, doesn't matter. The thrill of an electric guitar bewhimsies him- think Black Veil Brides and Bring Me The Horizon. As far as shows I think he's the type to enjoy things like Voltron and Power Rangers. And also the obvious answer of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
SiegeSMP: Percy I feel would like the softer music! More folk-sounding, light guitars, bouncy vocals. Think The Oh Hellos and Crane Wives. I also think he's the type to enjoy the classic Disney movies- think Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, etc.
Wild West SMP: Draxas likes dark country and phonk. Think WITCHZ and Poor Man's Poison. For other media I think he'd be really into How To Train Your Dragon, just everything about it. Really any sort of Dreamworks thing he'd be into.

Titans of Aralith
Excerpt of some funky fresh Lore about the world where my new book is set.
Before the small mortals of Aralith were brought to life by The Bright Sun, there were the Titans.
Giant, bizarre creatures moulded by Malïel to shape the world as he desired. Raising mountains and carving riverways, the Titans were as varied as they were strong.
The size of the mountains they created, Malïel would look upon his children and be pleased. They were loyal and powerful, dominating all they were told to.
But, like all children, they were often reluctant to follow their father’s orders.
The first rebellion ended in the confiscation of their weapons and tools. The Titans were displeased, but this did not signal their demise.
The second rebellion ended in the removal of their sustenance. The Titans became desperate, clawing at their stomachs and throats with hunger and thirst.
But, it was their third rebellion that ended them entirely. This was the event that caused their demise.
Pushing back against their father was not a wise decision. His wrath, now known across Aralith, was swift and sadistic.
It began in the frozen north, the Ice Titans were paralysed by their father’s rage.
The paralysis then passed to the Sand Titans, the Sea Titans, the Forest Titans, and finally, the Dark Titans. This disease crossed the planet as a wave of rain and lightning, striking the children of Malïel without discrimination or mercy.
The cries of the Titans still echo in the thunder of their father, and in the crashing waves of his lover. Their bodies still stand: gigantic, frozen figures across the world, instilling fear and awe in all who see them.
The small mortals tell whispered tales of these monsters. Some say the so-called corpses are simply statues built by long-forgotten ancestors. Some say that the Titans can see and hear everything, taking in everything since the day they were frozen, while others say they are simply dead. Some deny their entire existence, saying the towering figures are simply hallucinations caused by the Patron of Change. And some, foolishly, prophesise their return.
Below is a list of Aralith's most noted Titans, monstrous beings, frozen in time.
Aemoch the Many Horned, a six-armed, six-horned Titan covered in mouldy, ragged fur. Many miles away from Milarrian, he straddles the River Hagi, just as it cuts through the Farskell Mountains.
Iblis the Bound, a bronze-coloured Titan, with an enormous metal pyramid where a face should be. The hands of her figure are bound with lengths upon lengths of dwarven chains. Her figure towers above the entrance gates of Fujiya.
Agon the Shining, a broad-shouldered, heavily armoured Titan, who wielded his sword, Mountslayer, with abandon. His figure seems to have been paralysed in mid-stride, in the deserts of Tshundi.
The Night Seers. Ang, Lia and Pei, the figures of these sisters are set next to one another in the depths of the Partovan swamps. Enormous creatures, with the torso of a wendigo and the legs and lower body of a horse, the joining of these two halves has decayed in each figure, exposing three spines as thick as tree trunks.
Mara the Worldcrusher, a veiled, four-armed woman with glowing blue eyes. Her figure holds a replica of the planet and floats several feet above the ground in a fixed position in a forest clearing in Bektai.
Hayal the Wise. With his figure sat upon a vast, white marble throne, his head has split open and appears to be made of near-translucent, white stone. Beside him, there are several giant, red-bound scrolls with unreadable words upon them. His figure sits at the northernmost point of Shimmer Lake.
Dagon the Vast, a truly monstrous, skeletal Titan, now impaled with his own sword on the side of the Farskell Mountains.
Aræa the Beautiful. Now suspended in the waters of Lake Vicia, her pearlescent, shell coloured robes float freely in the crystalline waters.
Dagos the Small. The brother of Dagon the Vast, this skeletal Titan’s form is the smallest of all the forms across the globe and seems to have been frozen mid-stride across the Lower Wastes of Reinskall.
The Swampbitten. Triplets, with crescent-shaped skulls and dangling, hook-like hands, whose forms now tower above the black swamps of Partova.
Koil of the Depths. Once a towering, draconic Titan who drowned the world to create the oceans, a skeletal figure of him now lies at the bottom of the port of Capio, clearly visible through clear, blue waters.
Raz’ac the Fanged. Only the skull of his figure is visible above the ground. Razor-toothed and massive, the skull gives way to an emaciated body, frozen in a state of decay.
Milarrian the Fey-Touched. A four-legged Titan, now frozen in the woods of Bektai, stands across the roaring River Hagi. A small village has since been built on their back, which now sprouts a vast variety of rare plants and flowers.
Igael the Blue. Nothing more than a head is shown of the figure of this Titan. Its eyes glow bright blue and can be used as a guide to weary travellers in the jungles of Namektai.
Yorum the Cracked. With his figure frozen in Feris Lake, his four horns and ragged, icy skin are markers of the centre of the murky, often poisoned lake.
Draxa the Iceburnt. Crouched next to Feris Lake, staring out across the water, she is used as a marker that signals the way to the Lower Wastes.
Nama and Nurtu, the Many-Eyed. Enormous, deer-like Titans, now their figures are set on the hills of western Katai, with their eyes glowing out through the mist.
Ophech the Sunset Girl. With her figure now resting, impaled by her sword on the side of the Kabe Dunes, the trail up the dunes to her figure is littered with graves and weapons.
Baraph the Half-Formed. An enormous Titan, with cracked, golden skin and no eyes, his figure is partially buried in the deserts of Tshundi.
Sadyan the Clouded One. Face shrouded by a blue-white hood and towering at the gates to the Metal Fields of Katai, Sadyan’s clothes are ghostly blue, and seem to absorb the clouds into them.
Zago the Monstrous. With sprouting, bony horns sprouting from her head, Zago sits cross-legged, nestled in the Shadowed hoods, wearing a woollen, needlehorn cloak. Her lap is covered and hands are covered in blood.
Reiba the Faceless. The face of this figure has been gouged out by something unknown. Two large, deer-like horns sprout from either side of where Reiba’s face should be. Her figure stands in The Joining Lovers.
While these may be the most noteworthy of the Titans, and the most spectacular, they are by no means the only frozen giants on Aralith. There are hundreds that have been discovered by the small mortals, and maybe hundreds more, far beneath the ground.

There's such a sort of quiet affection between both Artisan and Draxas and its so good
like they both know it. And they both know the other knows it. They're just dancing around the topic, not speaking about it directly-
Something like love is dangerous out in the Wild West. When you have more ties folk have more to use against you. And the closer you are to that person the more powerful that can be over them.
They're just flirting when alone- showing each other that affection with indirect words and actions. Repeated compliments, purrs and blushing, a bed placed next to the other's. Small smiles, averted eyes, giggles and teasing, playful banter and physical play.

So- Wild West SMP has me in a chokehold... so here's some silly rambles about the blorbos. (I've had this in my notes for a few days. edited today before posting. Planned to do everyone in this but oh gosh I do not have the time-)
First off;
Redbite: the Unwilling Enchantress
Enchanting both by her kindness and whimsical, energetic attitude, most people have positive feelings about Red. However, as the players figure out more... all roads seem to point back to Red in some way. She's not a sheriff but she can charm them- and occasionally acts like she's on par or above them in some way (not in a derogatory way- in a literal "I am higher than you in the business"). Senspirilla convinced Jay with Red being one of his main points to calm 'em down. There is something off about Red- whether she knows it or not. Jay keeps having memories of talking to Red about the resetting world- or well, resetting or absent memories. He's reluctant on certain things- like the bounties- but does allow them, especially with the urging on of Sen and others. Is she the puppet or the puppeteer? (on my gosh we're back in the building again with the resets war flashbacks) Sly enchantress, do you know of your work, or have you become one with the hurt?
Jay: The Returned Omen
A jackal, the cackling hound of the savannah..., but this jackal isn't cackling at all. Jay's imbued with X to his very core. Where a mangled eye would be stands a glittering green geode. Keeper of past memories, imbued with a specifically new ore... he's both a ghost of the past and a mark of the future... an omen of what's to come. In turn, he is a keeper of memories... a keeper of the cycle... and he's becoming part of the core of that cycle as well. Oh jackal in the night, who do you come to slight?
Draxas: The Rotting Marvel
Draxas... the dragon. Memories of destruction, feelings of flying. Metal claiming them bit by bit by bit... pain marring most other feeling. Draxas is strong- but there's a sense about 'er that seems... like she was greater. Stronger. More wondrous- more frightening. Now he's rotting- but not exactly with decay. Metal creeps across his skin, cutting and callousing... still warm to the touch, like his own flesh is being graced by King Midas. Now, his wings creep with gray, their saturation dying away. Metal and stone, marring him down to the bone. Dragon Dragon in the sky, why must you flap your wings with fright?

Not me getting to turn my scorpion for Draxas's chat into a silly little dragon-
fun thing is I changed my scorpion, Lazip the Lapis Scorpion, into a cracked lapis scorpion (because I accidentally matched with Kylapon so I wanted to change her tehe).
So now I've got a silly blue dragon... with a big crack down her face, and chest, ending above her heart.
:]
she's so cool I love her

Here's my lil chat persona for Draxas!
This is Lazip, originally a cracked-lapis scorpion, now a cracked lapis dragon!
Tumblr media
I hold her in my lil hands- she's about 5 inches tall! the spikes are sharp but not razor sharp. She's blue, like lapis- and her eye is an orange (as are her teeth, and a dim glow that comes from the crack in her chest-)
