My theme for this year's DRAWgust was inspired by actor Jim Carrey.

Back  in 2019 Jim Carrey drew caricatures of sleazy politicians (yes I realize that's redundant) so I decided to draw caricatures of sleazy hollywood celebrities (yes I realize that's redundant), since ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER, right?

Day 31: Alec Baldwin

- Why did I do this drawing challenge? Mainly to practice drawing people (I've never been that good at it), and because it sounded like fun (I'm a big fan of the MAD magazine movie spoofs), and lastly because celebrities deserve to get knocked down a few pegs. They're all a bunch of self-absorbed narcissists (I guess you would have to be, in this line of work), looking down their noses at us and preaching to us from their (im)moral high horses telling us how to think, how to vote, how to run our lives (but it's never good enough for them). This is rich considering that hollywood probably has the highest rate of drug abuse, divorce, and sexual assault in the entire country. And they look down on US, the common man and woman?!? B**ch Please. And don't even get me started on the environment. Celebrities fly around in their jets wasting fuel and own multiple homes that use up electricity even when they're not there, but WE THE PEOPLE are not doing enough to help the planet and stop global warming? Eff you guys! If these haters are going to dish it out to the rest of us then they should be able to take it. My only regret is that there aren't 62 days in August instead of just 31 because there are WAY MORE hollywood fools I could have caricatured!

heres a random background character i drew for the first day of drawgust, she is rococo/fruit inspired :) (i also have two other fruit themed rococo girls in the works, one is a raccoon and the other is gonna be a beta fish)

its only partly colored, (intentionally) that's why she's so pale :3
