War heroine Mrs Hermione Jean Malfoy, was safely delivered of a healthy baby boy weighing 7lbs and 6ozs at 4.22 am.

The birth took place on the 28th of September 2008 at the St. Jouge’s Hospital for the Ailing and Maimed, New York where Mr and Mrs Malfoy reside following Mrs Malfoy's Ministry appointed position with the New York Ministry earlier this year.

Mr Draco Lucius Malfoy was present for the birth and is delighted to welcome their precious bundle of joy to the world.

Named Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, he becomes the heir to the Malfoy name and estate.

Mrs Narcissa Malfoy and Mrs Malfoy's parents are thrilled with the news and will be visiting shortly.

Mrs Hermione Malfoy and her child are doing well and resting in the comfort of their home.
