genuinely, i think we're heading for another video game crash. Triple A games are continually abusing workers while putting out lower and lower quality games at higher and higher price points. Consoles and gaming pcs are approaching the same price as a used car, for games that take up 90% of the memory because they're so poorly optimized.

the constant grind for new games or new content for previous games is quickly becoming annoying and underwhelming, we already have constant complaints about the new day one patch system every game release seems to come with. more and more games are just endless remasters and franchise sequels instead of anything new.

and now unity wants to charge developers for every install

well that depends entirely on what angle they'd take for his rider version because fate powerlevels exist to serve the narrative, and I can't say anything meaningful about that right now because there's zero hints for what his rider self would be like other than that he qualifies for the class. regardless of how hard any given version of him can pulverize his enemies though lancer is going to remain the most emotionally fulfilled cu chulainn and therefore the one all his other selves will continue to wish they were

i cannot get over the fact that she wasn’t an actual character. hinata was a plot device from the moment she was introduced. her team was stunted the most, she lost every fight she was in, her few moments of bravery were always bolstered by her crippling crush on naruto, and she didn’t even have her own “ninja way.” she heard naruto’s and was like “yeah that sounds good!” the absolute lack of effort put into developing hinata hyuga is astounding and equally upsetting and hilarious.

and there’s nothing wrong with her goals in life or where she wound up. there’s nothing wrong with being peaceful, or softspoken, or a wife and mother, or gentle, or anything like that. but if you’re going to have a character like that in a world that is not peaceful or gentle, you cannot make them a throwaway character until you need your main man to get married. (very similar to how tenten’s story is not a tale of feminism even though she’s the only one of her peers to not get married and have children; it feels more like her lifestyle is an explanation of her absence than a definitive choice for her character.)

just imagine if they’d given any of sasuke’s storyline to hinata, or at least expanded on those themes with her as the central figure. easiest example is “bonds.” she has so many ties to other characters (re: plot device) and could have been an excellent model of why those bonds are so important, how to repair breaking bonds, things like that. imagine if we saw the revolution of the hyuga clan through her eyes in contrast to the infamous downfall of the uchiha clan. the parallel that could have been drawn between hinata and sasuke, ultimately making her later relationship with naruto more plausible.

instead she has a fruity husband and a demon child and a small clone of herself

i think their depiction is extremely on point and accurate and they basically think of kama and portray kama in the exact same way as me !!!!!! :^) but yeah kama would be a LOT more shy because they’ve gotten insecure (trauma does this to u.)

Obsession: miniature building and painting. i just love it. getting to assamble a bunch of little guys and organise them into squads, platoons, companies, or even regiments. I started collecting warhammer a few years back, and later battletech, and frankly i havent looked back.

having said that, i have always had a lifelong love of history. whether its grand battles to the simply mundanity of everyday life, i love it all. I even went to uni briefly to study archeaology before i realised i really didnt want to spend the rest of my life in academia. but if you come to me with a lecture of some specific part of history, i will be putty in your hands

Currently working on: trying to get all my currently built minis painted, but more specifically the first imperial guard regiment i started but have yet to finish (its not my fault i started like 15 other modelling projects before i could finish, it could happen to any of us), pictured below. they're what i need the wargames atlantic models for in fact, since gw no longs makes the old cadian shock troops
