If I may ask, any thoughts on Corrin being a dragon? I always wished it had gotten more focus, to be honest. I think it's fair to assume that one does not simply suddenly gain the ability to turn into a dragon and not be weirded out on some level.

I'll start with the form/look:

I LOVE Corrin's Dragon form!

It may be one of my all-time favourite dragon designs. It's just such a unique design; sort of like a Kingdom Heart 2 Nobody-esque take on it. I love the use of colours. I love how it walks on its knuckles. I also love how, regardless of Corrin's gender, the dragon looks exactly the same (no weird dragon boobs or lashes).

Now as for story: yeah it is disappointing how no one reacts or makes a deal out of it.

In Conquest none of the Nohr siblings, or Silas (Chapter 7), react to it. Heck you'd think Garon would make a deal out of it! I just started Birthright and same thing: no one bats an eye. One could argue that the whole Queen dying, Hoshido's defences being breeched, and injured civilians took precedence, but even then it feels odd that no one makes a deal out of it.

Dragon Corrin just kinda exists. In other FE games Manaketes/being able to turn into dragons has story significance, but not in Conquest or Birthright. It should be a big deal because all the royals have dragon blood and their god(s) are literal dragons (Dusk and Dawn Dragon).

Love the look and mannerisms, but damn it really just exists without relevance.

A friend and I are rewriting Fire Emblem Fates! I will be doing Conquest. I'm trying to keep as much as possible the same, but I've already drastically changed a chapter and added 3 chapters. And made Good Dad Garon. And moral grey Nohr and Hoshido. And Conquest is gonna focus more on Corrin's draconic side than on Yato, hence the partial transformation. Super hyped to show it off!

--but also, no offence to Rook (all my Rooks are idiots, so full offence to them, they can't have a single opinion of their own!), but I never read that end as "I outsmarted you" (because we really didn't have the guile or the narrative padding besides meta-reading Solas being too good at moulding us into something that will inevitably become his foil), I read it more as "Solas' desperation from being so close to the end has made him blind"; because Emmrich made the dagger, the team distracted him, Rook just held onto a hope and prayer!--

Thank God for Corrine [Busche], because DAMN! We nearly didn't have it all (and by all I mean the redemption ending).
