And now is as good a time as any to reveal that...

A friend and I are rewriting Fire Emblem Fates! I will be doing Conquest. I'm trying to keep as much as possible the same, but I've already drastically changed a chapter and added 3 chapters. And made Good Dad Garon. And moral grey Nohr and Hoshido. And Conquest is gonna focus more on Corrin's draconic side than on Yato, hence the partial transformation. Super hyped to show it off!

corrin has been sheltered all their life. living in nohr, only being around their siblings and a few selected maids and such, corrin grew lonely

so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that the first person that corrin meets outside of that group immediately becomes special to corrin

not just that, but corrin is quick to start obsessing over that person!

you become the embodiment of freedom to corrin! you've lived a life surrounded by so many people and have had such a vastly different experience than corrin

corrin envies you, but also admires you! corrin wants to learn everything they can from you about the world outside

corrin is relatively harmless as a yandere, at least in the early stages of your relationship. but depending on how things go, corrin does have a more dangerous side that could come out

after all, corrin has been spoiled and is used to getting what they want. whether it's from their siblings or maids!

and if corrin wants something from you, that you aren't willing to give, then corrin doesn't mind letting others do their dirty work and simply force you to give corrin what they want!

It sucks how the real Garon and the Nohrian royals weren't allowed to have proper closure with eachother while Corrin, Azura, Hoshidan royals and even Lilith were blessed with that opportunity with their parents.

A huge part of the Nohrians royals characters is their strained relationship with their father and how they cling onto him even when he's changed into a horrible person and unbeknownst to them changed into a monster and yet they weren't allowed to say their proper goodbyes in neither the Nohrian route nor the neutral route. Elise never even got to meet the real king Garon.

Garon couldn't even thank Corrin for setting his soul free nor apologize for the harm he's caused them in the end of Conquest nor was given a chapter where he had closure in Revelations.

Ironically the route that give him the best ending was in Birthright and even that's not saying much considering it was used to allude to Anankos's existance which then got overshadowed by Azura's death.
