Would you like use Mods in BG3 Patch 7?

Let me help you make Baldurs Gate 3 into a dream oc dressup game!

Under read more is a simple how to guide and a link to my list of working 440ish mods with a recommended load order google Spreadsheet

Please use the updated BG3 Mod Manger, dont even look at the in game mod manger for too long or it will eat your saves (not actually, it just does not have a load order so wont work for multiple mods. Do Not Click it and ignore Larian's third part mods warning )

If you have mods installed through the in game mod manager Uninstall Them before continuing.

If you had mods with Patch 6 you need to delete the modsettings.lsx file from your Baldurs Gate 3 app data folder

Also note if you have modded before Patch 7, Mod Fixer is no longer needed, BG3 now has its own mod fixer baked right in, Delete old Mod Fixer, most mods requiring it still work

If you did not proceed on

If this is your first time modding please find your Mods Folder in C:\Users\YOURWINDOWSUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3

This is where we will be adding mods downloaded from Nexus or a Mod Makers Patreon

copy the pak file from your downloaded zip folder into your mod folder and boot up BG3 Mod Manger

Okay now that you have a mod it will show up in the mod manager

On the right side is Uninstalled mods

On the left are Installed mods

To use a new mods just Drag and Drop to the left side in the recommended load order. Some mods automatically end up in the override section so you don't have to worry about em.

Load Order is very important as it is what stops mods from fighting each other and causing problems

You can now click Save and Export and then click the bg3 start button to test out if it works

Do Not Click In Game Manager IT WILL RESET ALL YOUR MODDING WORK

Click New Game or Load Save

if you get a pop up just click okay, old saves may not work I'm sorry to say and it's best to start over.

Here's the link to list of mods I use and the order they are in, if a mod didnt work for me I list it as Not Working.

Also warning that for some reason the guardian appears to be missing their armor and some of the racial options have glitched under pants. No idea why but i got the main part of the game working so I'm happy lol

(If you install mods not on my list i cant help you with them the best thing to do is send a Nice message to the mod author that their mod didn't work for you. Follow instruction on the mod's page )

Hey neocities community! I'm a freelance illustrator and game artist dipping my toes into web design for the first time. My ambition is to create a portfolio site with a point-and-click game vibe, using the most simple code I can put together. I would love to create a unique space that feels interactive and endlessly exploreable. The site will feature my various art projects, and there are already some (small) playable games up for download. I'm aiming to add more animated elements later down the line, but I'm currently learning the ropes of html and the site is still very bare bones. For now, please enjoy the fun visuals of my cave as I continue digging the tunnels deeper and deeper..

Whaddya know, these are the exact two games I was having frustration with.

The good news is that as of right now, the original Pretty Pixie version is still online and accessible. You'll need Ruffle or some other Flash emulator to play it, but if you have that then you're set. Unfortunately I went looking for the original Flash version of Viking Woman and it seems to have been removed from the site, which is a real bummer. (If anyone still knows a way to access it, please let me know or share a link if possible. I know that Internet Archive has a collection of Azalea's Dolls Flash games but I can't open it from there.)

So...yeah. All that's below the cut is me ranting about what got lost between versions of the one I can still access.

Literally just entirely removed my favorite nose-and-mouth combo from Pretty Pixie. I used to love pairing that crooked nose with the sort-of snarly teeth. None of the three toothy mouth options are available in the updated version, and the Best Nose is gone, which is a real disappointment because those just had so much character to them. (I didn't play around with the ears as much but they got rid of the two most unique ear-choices, too.)

And the skin tones used to be so much more varied. Not only were there some lovely darker ones, but multiple hues of green, blue, pink, orange, and brown; and all in different temperatures too.

Also certain layers had transparency settings, like lip-color and wings. And there was a specific section in the shirts menu with a few shirts that made your pixie look pregnant, which I'd never seen in a game like this before and even though I didn't use that feature much I thought it was really neat.

And all of the clothing, from shirts to skirts to accessories, let you pick what color they'd be.

It's really disappointing how much of that variety was lost during the html5 conversion. I understand stuff like the transparency settings and the drag-n-drops being lost, but why decrease the number of color options and menu items? It's a huge letdown, especially from a doll site that made its name on how much variety it offered within each dressup game.

Azaela's Dolls has become racist as fuck. Almost none of their new doll makers have the option for darker skin tones, or any option to change skin color at all from the default white, and the ones that do have skin tones that are still relatively light.

I used to use them to create characters for stories and such, but I cant even do that anymore. I dont know what the hell happened to them. Smh.

Oh my gosh I forgot about this! I made this a year or two ago because I used to be part of the dressup dollmaker fandom (basically digital paper dolls if you don’t know what it is) Using the game snow queen scene maker I made the historicals in all thier original meet outfits. Obviously, courtney is not here because she didn’t exist yet when I made this. Some of thier dresses are edited for the fabric pattern but the rest is made out of the clothing options and drag ‘n drops

Spinal Tap is making potions. You get a doodled formula from his journal and have to find out the correct ingedients from his drawings.

Trap-Jaw is like another dressup game but its dragging and dropping different weapon parts to make diff guns. He tests them out at the end and they never work/always explode.

Prima Materia romance visual novel where Skeletor is the MC and you can only romance Spinal Tap. Romancing Spinal Tap is the end game condition and the game will refuse to let your computer close the game or turn itself off until you do.

i did!!! i never posted it but i do remember playing dressup games!! i always used to play those “create a ____” games where you could make your own characters. i also played a lot of random warrior cats flash games :p

How do you imagine a date with dd ford to go?

hmM let’s drop the dd context (i haven’t actually played it and it’s hard enough trying to reason a crossover) and say it’s for a gf dating sim in gf. the player is new to the town, to make things easier.the dateable options are stan, ford, fidds, manly dan, lazy susan, and if you choose to hang out in the forest for three weeks straight you unlock sev’ral times. (if you happen to be on manly dan’s route when you switch over to them, though, you break his heart.) please don’t ask me why i have made these choices.

the game takes place over a summer and the game runs by the week, so you get 10 weeks, with one event to hear about per week. (the exception is summerween, which bumps the event count up to two for that week.) the 1st week is dedicated to the intro, 9th week is for the confession, 10th week is for the wrap-up. the weeks in-between are dedicated to character interactions, so at max 7 chances to interact. we’ll go with dd’s 3 dates system, so you could do 2-2-3 in order to test out 3 people’s routes before committing to one of them for the confession. if you know who you want and dedicate all 7 weeks to them (like i’d do lol) you just get to spend time with them after maxing them out at 3 dates. (this time is conveyed through a one-sentence summary to make it easier on the writer, though, so don’t expect full-fledged events.)

ford:

1st week: your first encounter with ford isn’t an encounter but rather just a passing glimpse of him with stan, heading up to the shack. word is that the pines have returned for the summer– both sets of twins– and you get to ask around about them. (you hear “never mind all that“ a lot.) 

your 1st date happens in the forest on a solitary hike. doesn’t matter how but you come across ford in mild peril (or ford in mild peril comes across you), and you help him out and he’s a little scraped and a little gruff but gives you a small smile at some point. you can choose to walk him back to the shack, engage in some conversation, and if you do well you leave with an invitation to drop by again sometime. (ford’s making a clear effort to be sociable but he’s a little awkward at it bc he just spent all the time between last summer and this summer out on the sea chasing paranormal activity.)

if you liked what u saw of ford u return for the 2nd date and find him playing dd&md with dipper, and you’re invited to join in. u roll ur character and attempt to read through the seemingly never-ending scrolling text of rules that flies across the screen, and regardless of whether you Actually made the attempt to read them ford gives you a friendly nudge and tells you he’ll help you out. ford’s theatrical and enthusiastic and perfect and has all the right reactions at all the right times during dipper’s campaign, and there’s a lot of laughter shared across the board. when the session ends you have the option to take your character sheet w you and promise to return to see the campaign played out.

the 3rd date, ford asks you out for a nice excursion to the forest. he basically shows you around what he spent his life in this dimension studying and documenting and talks a little about the weird things he saw on the sailing trip he returned from. at this point, if you’ve gained a bit of his trust, he’ll admit that he’s at a loss as to how to “date” and that’s why he went with something familiar, and you get to go, this is a date?? and ford goes, “It’s a date if you want it to be. …I want it to be,” and you smile and he grins. the date winds down and the two of you return to the shack, his hand in yours

now at this point the 3 dates are satisfied but i’m not, so let’s keep going and fill out the maximum of 7 weeks

the 4th “date” you spend the day in the shack’s kitchen baking w ford and mabel. mabel’s too-sugary too-nostalgic concoction, combined with some weird sci-fi radiation from ford’s watch, gains sentience and drags the three of you into The Baking Zone.

the 5th “date” you join ford and the rest of the family for a movie night that covers some of the big movies ford missed while in the portal. (you find yourself often watching him watch them.)

the 6th “date” you find ford’s wardrobe of identical red turtlenecks and black pants and ask him if he even has anything else to wear, and things kinda become a dressup game. (i just want an excuse for a sweater-vested, button-up shirt ford sprite.)

the 7th “date” ford sits you down and tells you you should probably hear his whole story, and he’s as ready as he’ll ever be to tell it. you hear abt gf and bill and the portal and coming back and weirdmageddon, and everything you’d only ever heard ford make passing references is finally filled out.

9th week: ford presents you with a pet kraken and officially asks you to go steady. he confesses that he’s not sure how courting gifts work, or if they’re even a thing here ‘cause he doesn’t trust stan’s love advice, but mabel thought the kraken was a great gesture. (the kraken spits out some glitter, and ford makes a concerned frown at it.)

10th week: there’s still plenty of paranormal activity out there for ford to get back to studying, and there’s still life for you to get back to, but you promise to stay in contact, and ford says he’ll come by your area. it’s a long distance deal until next summer, but if you’ve played his route right the relationship lasts.
