Baby, you're mine.
Ex bf! Mattheo Riddle x gn!reader
Hi, umm kinda wanted a jealous fic where Mattheo's a complete jerk ( fool ) for you. Basically that one time he ruined your date and also the time he made up. Draco being a little shit but we love him.

" Isn't he a dork ? " Mattheo smirked, his fingertips brushing against your back when you snapped back at him.
" You're such a jerk matty." You perched your lips, crossing your arms as his smirk only widened, his eyes softening at the sight of you.
" For you, always." He added with a wink, you wouldn't smile, no, you will not give him that.
" Why don't you leave me alone ? " You turned to walk ahead, you were aware of your charms class that was just about to start.
" How about you don't go on this date ? " He suggested instead, catching up with you, few third year Hufflepuffs parted away.
" Marcus is a very good guy." You mumbled, Matheo scoffed hard and his malice was very much visible in the way he scowled at his name.
" Didn't you like bad guys ? " Matheo tried his soft, sweet voice, the one that always melted you, but not this time, you wouldn't let him.
" Does it matter ? Weren't you fucking Susan or was it Komal, i remember." You narrowed your gaze at him, your mouth tightening as his soft facade crumbled, his jaw slackened but he was quick to recover.
" It was...it meant.. nothing to me." He nodded his head, eyes blazing with sincerity but if only, if only.
" Mattheo, I know you haven't got heart—"
" Babe—"
"—but these girls have got one, so don't break theirs." You glared at him once before marching towards your charms class, eyes brimming with tears.
_
You should've known as soon as you entered the great hall when the silence on Slytherin table was too much, Draco was practically buzzing, his mouth was perked up around the edges, being not so subtle with his glances on you.
Mattheo was just another case, he was staring at you, not minding the concernful eyes that gazed him down, clad with longing and desire, he didn't care about them. You dutifully paid him no attention.
The mist cleared when Marcus didn't come that evening and it wasn't a surprise when you found him in hospital wing later , poor boy even refusing to speak with you. Well done, mattheo.
_
" Hey Y/n, heard you got stood up—" you shot bat boggey hex at Draco, with mere mumbling under your breath as you swinged your rucksack on one shoulder, feeling very tired.
Draco scowled but said nothing, Mattheo only smiled smugly.
" I was thinking—" Matheo started, you stomped your books down.
" Don't talk to me." You said, feeling anger boil inside you.
" I didn't do it on purpose." Mattheo dropped his gaze to your lips, you looked away.
" Oh really ?! " You huffed a humour less laugh that oddly sounded a croak.
" He..He talked shit about you babe, what was i supposed to do ? "
" Listen." Draco said, ducking his head when both you and Riddle glared at him.
" Well anything but to beat the pulp out of him." You cocked your head, wincing to think about the damage Mattheo had done, it would be a hard for Marcus to ever date again.
" He said he just wanted to fuck you and be done." His eyes glistented and you didn't know if Riddle could cry, he did when you broke up with him but—
" Said that he wasn't being serious so I shouldn't worry, just a fuck." He swallowed hard, his adam rolling up and readjusting again, every ring of his cartilage pressing around his skin.
" Tell me baby, what I was supposed to do ? Shouldn't I kill him ? What if...what if he broke your heart ? " He pressed down his forehead against you, Draco looked away, swaggering towards the other end of the corridor, others following.
You closed your eyes at the feel of him, Mattheo could be cold but how could you let go of this warmness that tingled your way, how could you forget the sweet darling boy who sung lullabies and wrote poetries for you, how could you ?
" He can't..." You gulped, " he can't break my heart Matty, you already did it." You sniffed hard, would it be okay if you just...just hugged him and kiss him for one last time, just once, would it be okay ?
" I am sorry darling, I am so sorry." He nuzzled closer, his nose caressing your cheek as he inahled you in, your scent, the way you made him crazy and feral. All of you.
" I hate myself for not hating you." You admitted, feeling your heart shedding off some burden.
" And I love myself for loving you, I tried..tried so hard and no one, my beloved, i can love no one like i love you." His lips pressed against the corner of your mouth, your whole body rippling in magnetic waves.
" You're a jerk." You told him, pulling him by his tie as a smile aroused him, soon it crashed against you, like lightening bolts set free as you tasted his sweetness, his tongue warm as you parted for him, let him take the lead.
A soft moan escaped and you shivered because you loved this boy, for so long you have, and only he could set you on fire and make you ablaze, only he could reduce you to ashes and breath you back in the air.
" Oh baby." He breathed against you, ever so handsy he grabbed for everything he could get, pulling you closer till there was nothing left you and him, his knees pressing between you legs as he relished in the sounds you could make, only for him.
" Matt..." Your voice was dazed with the pit in your stomach that lurched with the way he touched you, kissed you, had you.
" So long...so..my baby." He whispered against you lips, dipping to nib at your flushed swollen beaming lips.
" Oh my god." Your lids drooped back when his hands roughly slipped inside you shirt, kneading and squeezing your flesh, he was so needy and wild, like you always made him.
He downed your shirt, flushed as he pulled away when the bell rang and crowd started to emerge from classes.
"Go on a date with me." He pecked your cheeks, glancing to make sure your shirt wasn't riding up.
" Can't." You said, his nose scrunched up, " afraid my boyfriend might beat you up."
Mattheo's grin was splitting his whole face, his cheeks rushing with color and heat.
" Sounds like a jerk to me." He breathed, eyeing your lips and leaning in.
" Oh, he is." You winked, " always for me."
Don't blame me

How Slytherin boys react to sister! Reader dating:
Warning: boyfriend house not specific, google translated Italian, protective brothers & stalking
Ft. Tom Riddle, Mattheo Riddle, Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, Lorenzo Berkshire.

The Riddle Brothers
“WHAT??” Mattheo yells as Draco had told him that you were dating Someone. The thing was that you haven’t told him first.
Why didn’t you tell him..cause now he’s frowning and venting to the oldest riddle that’s reading a book.
“TOM! Our baby sister is dating someone, but she hasn’t said a single thing…I swear what if the guys bad..”
“We could easily kill him. So why worry brother?” Tom says looking up. But it was clear that Tom was mad that you haven’t told him. You always tell him things, so to the point you haven’t told him made him a “little” angry.
Mattheo and Tom looked at each other and nodded as they left the Slytherin common room.
You were walking with your boyfriend when all of a sudden you felt eye burning in the back of your head. You turn around and there you see only mattheo because of course Tom is invisible.
“Mattheo…why didnt you turn invisible when clearly she’s glaring at you.”
“Tom, stfu.”
Draco Malfoy
Ima make your boyfriend here as potter cause it’s definitely gonna be funny.
Straight up gets so dramatic to his knees, screaming for someone to kill him as he sees you dating his enemy. How could you betray him?! Your big brother is devastated
After dinner, he drags you to the common room and becomes a mother hen as he lectures you about how “terrible” pottah is.
“He’s a terrible person! And a Gryffindor. End of presentation…got any questions.” Draco says with a raised up brow
“Yeah, only one. Can I go to sleep now…”
Theodore Nott
IM SORRY BUT HE’S GONNA PULL OUT THE ITALIAN
“Mi stai spezzando il cuore qui sorellina... non puoi uscire finché non sono morto...” (you’re breaking my heart here lil sis you can’t date til I’m dead)
“ALLORA COME CAZZO USCIREI? SONO SOLO UN’ORA IN RITARDO DOPO DI TE?” (Then how the fuck would I date I’m only a hour late after you)
I feel like he would do the hand gesture, 🤌 yeahhhh…..
During the months he would try to give you the birds and the bees talk when you obviously know what it is, and you’re running away from him.
Of course he won’t stalk you, he’s too much of a good brother to do that to you. So you are lucky
But one word that your boyfriend is hurting you verbally, physically, or emotionally. He’s hurting him 10 times bad.
Lorenzo Berkshire
“I wanna meet him.”
“WHY YOU LOOKIN AT ME LIKE THAT?!.”
His soft face turned serious when you told him you’re dating someone. Because you thought Lorenzo would react happy for you.
He’s literally acting like a father as he has the boyfriend in front of him, wand in hand as his smile was tight. “So, I heard your dating my sister. Why?”
Pulls out the “why do you wanna date my daughter/sister” card😭😭
If the boyfriend passes, he’s welcome. If not, find a better boyfriend.

shower shenanigans
platonic ! slytherins x reader
just a silly little story that came to mind, based off of an episode of Friends lol
Theodore Nott was currently on his way up to the girls' dorm. The girls in question were some of his best friends: Pansy Parkinson, Astoria Greengrass, and Y/N Y/L/N, along with Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Mattheo Riddle, and Lorenzo Berkshire, of course.
During his latest charms lesson, he had been absolutely whiffed, far too high to be able to take notes, of course, and was counting on stealing Astoria's to be able to complete his assignment.
Huffing when he discovered none of the girls were to be found in the dorm, he made his way to Astoria's side to begin his search, only to be interrupted by the bathroom door swinging open. Pansy had just finished showering and was currently drying off the last of her hair with a towel wrapped around her waist when she caught sight of Theo standing in her room. Both letting out a surprised scream, Pansy tried to cover her exposed upper half with a blanket that sat on the edge of Y/N's bed.
'I'm sorry! I'm sor-'
'That is it!' She hissed at the boy. 'You just barge in here all of the time; you don't knock-'
'I'm sorry, Pans!'
'You don't have any respect for anybody's privacy-'
'Pansy, wait-' 'No, you wait! This is ridiculous-'
'Can I just say one thing?!'
'Oh- what?! What?!'
'That's a relatively open weave, and I can still see your... nippluar area.' Pansy groaned in frustration as she spun to grab her wand, pointing it at the boy standing before her as she still held the blanket over her chest.
'Get out before I avada your ass, Nott!' Theo fled from the dorm, charms notes long forgotten, as he silently thanked Salazar for blessing him this fine Friday afternoon.
Pansy sat fuming on the couch in the Slytherin common room that evening, silently glaring daggers at Theo, who sat across from her, while Enzo, Draco, and Astoria looked at each other in confusion. As the rest of the gang filtered in and joined them around the fire, the conversation died out, and Theo spoke.
'Anyone up for a firewhiskey then?' Before anyone had the time to comprehend what he had asked, Pansy had crossed her arms and hissed out a sharp 'No.'
'Alright, have I missed something here?' Y/N asked, her eyes darting between the other occupants of the group, looking for answers. Enzo snickered in response, while Theo just sighed.
'No, she's still upset because I saw her boobies..' At this, Mattheo barked a laugh as Y/N gasped, Astoria's eyes widening too. Theo's response had Blaise furrowing his eyebrows.
'W-what? What were you doing seeing her boobies?' He asked.
'It was an accident! It's not as though I was peeping through the keyhole of the girls dorm!' Astoria pulled a face at the thought of this.
'Alright-'
'Can we just change the subject, please?' Pansy huffed, throwing her head back onto the couch.
'You know, I don't know why you're so embarrassed! They were very nice!' Theo interjected, causing Pansy to scoff at him.
'Nice? They were nice? I mean, that's it? Mittens are nice!'
'Alright, they were-'
'Okay, how about we direct the conversation away from Pansy's boobs?' Draco clapped.
'I'll get the firewhiskey!' Mattheo grinned, shooting up from his seat and returning shortly with a few bottles of firewhiskey.
The evening continued as a regular Friday would, laughing and joking with each other, telling stories of what had happened throughout the week when they hadn't seen each other—you know, the usual stuff.
The conversation soon turned to quidditch; Y/N and Astoria shared a look, knowing what was about to come. The rest of the group were so into quidditch, and of course they supported the boys whenever they had a match, but honestly, they could not care less about the sport. Even Pansy was an avid supporter, hence her current rant about the Hufflepuff seeker as she paced around the room.
'And I mean, why does he have to be so arrogant about it? Like, why-' Pansy looked over to Theo, only to notice his eyes glued to her chest as she spoke. Her eyes narrowed at the boy. 'Why can't you stop staring at my breasts?'
Theo blinked as his eyes darted up to hers, only to see she was already glaring at him. 'What?'
'Ugh, did you not get a good enough look before?!' She moaned. Blaise interjected, waving a hand between them.
'Alright, alright. We're all adults here; there's only one way to resolve this.' Theo looked almost bored with Blaise as he tried to find a solution, Pansy merely quirked a brow as she crossed her arms. 'Since you saw her boobies, I think you're going to have to show her your pee-pee.'
At this, the rest of the gang sat forward, intrigued. Enzo nodded along as though it were the most sane thing he had ever heard, while Astoria almost spat out her drink from laughter.
Theo grimaced. 'You know, I don't see that happening.'
'Come on, Theo, he's right! Tit for tat,' Y/N's input had Draco snorting as Mattheo's eyes darted between Theo and Pansy. Pansy grinned, looking down at the boy who still occupied the couch.
'Well, I am not showing you my tat.' Theo rolled his eyes as he took a swig of his firewhiskey and started up another conversation with Enzo.
Pansy would get him back; she was sure of it.
The next afternoon, the girls patiently waited for the boys to meet them in the common room. They had planned to head into Hogsmeade for some shopping and lunch, but they had to wait for the boys to shower first after their morning quidditch practice. Only Draco had emerged from the dorms so far, and he was happily chatting with Astoria as Y/N read a book on the armchair.
Pansy caught Blaise's eye as he made his way down the stairs, finally ready. 'Honestly, what is taking you all so long?' She had asked, causing him to laugh.
'It's Enzo! He takes showers so long, I'm surprised there is any water left in Scotland! Theo's only just getting a turn,' Pansy's brow lifted in intrigue.
'How long has Theo been in the shower, would you say, Blaise?'
'About five minutes?'
It was exactly the answer Pansy wanted. Smirking, she stood from her place on the couch and winked at Y/N.
'Fasten your seatbelts, kids; it's pee-pee time.'
Opening the door to the boy's dorm, she greeted Enzo as he stood in front of the mirror, fixing his hair.
'Hey Pans,' He responded distractedly. It wasn't uncommon to see any of the girls in the boys dorm or vice versa, so he didn't think much of it as she crossed his room to the bathroom door.
'Payback time,' She muttered to herself as she quietly opened the door. Seeing the shower curtain pulled across and a tall shadow behind it, she grinned again. Rapidly pulling back the curtain, her 'Ha!' quickly turned into a scream as the figure in the shower jumped.
'What the fuck?'
'Oh my God!' She screeched as she ran out of the bathroom and slammed the door behind her.
'What? What's wrong?' Enzo turned to her, panicking. The bathroom door swung open as Mattheo, still soaking wet but now with a towel around his waist, stormed out with a seething look on his face.
'What the fuck is the matter with you?!'
'I thought it was Theo!'
'What - what, what's happened?' Theo ran into the room with his wand out as Pansy whirled on him, pointing an accusatory finger.
'You! You were supposed to be in there, so I could see your thing!' She fumed. Enzo's brows shot up as he stiffled a laugh, Mattheo shot him a death glare before turning back to the scene in front of him.
'Sorry. My-my thing was out there with me,' He lowered his wand and gestured to the hallway behind him, a grin crossing his face as Pansy growled and shouldered past him out the door. As she made her way down the stairs with clenched fists, Y/N looked up from her book.
'Pans?'
'That fucking idiot..'
'What's wrong?' Y/N asked again.
'Oh my God,' Astoria gasped. 'You didn't catch Theo, did you?'
Shaking her head, Pansy sat with a huff. It's safe to say the trip to Hogsmeade was filled with clenched jaws and glares from Mattheo to Pansy, and Pansy to Theo, while the rest of the gang laughed at their misfortune.
Later that evening, Astoria lay on her bed reading a new novel bought for her earlier in the day by Draco when the door to her room suddenly opened and in stalked Mattheo.
'Hey Riddle,' He nodded in response as he made his way over to the girls' bathroom door. Astoria quirked a brow and grinned slightly. 'Whatcha doing?' She already knew the answer.
'Clear the tracks for the payback express. Next stop; Pansy Parkinson.' He grinned, whipping the door open and walking into the steamy room.
'Surpri- holy shit!' His surprise attack was cut short as he pulled the curtain back, only to reveal Y/N in the shower instead of Pansy.
'Mattheo, what the fuck?!' His eyes widened as he turned away from the very naked girl in the shower.
'Shit, sorry - I was trying to catch Pansy out!' Y/N pulled the shower curtain across again and hid behind it.
'Wrong fucking girl!'
'I know, I know—I'm sorry!'
'Matt?' She asked after a minute of silence.
'Yeah?'
'Get out!'
'Right, right-' As Mattheo sped out of the room, he grimaced at Astoria, who lay still smirking as she read her book.
That evening, at dinner, Y/N stabbed her food with force as she glared at the boy opposite her.
'Right, what's happened here then?' Draco asked, his eyes flying between the two.
'Mattheo barged in on me in the shower!' She hissed, causing her friends to burst into laughter as she was now caught in the shower chronicles.
'I told you, it was an accident!'
'You got a lot more than you bargained for!' She gripped her fork tightly in her hand as Mattheo smirked.
'Yeah I did, I got a great view,' He said with a smirk, which quickly disappeared after seeing Y/N's face.
'Look, I'm sorry!' He apologised once more as she sighed and began a conversation with Enzo.
The next morning, Y/N stomped into the boys dorm, still clad in her pyjamas. Theo groaned from his place in bed.
'Y/N, it is 8 a.m... on a Sunday.'
'Oh hush, you caused this whole thing, Nott.'
Storming over to the bathroom, she flung the door open just as Enzo was stepping out of the shower. She smacked a hand over her mouth as she squeaked.
'Y/N?!'
'I'm sorry, I'm sorry!' She turned on her heel and slammed the door, Theo's laughter echoed in the room.
'Where is Mattheo?!' She demanded.
'Fuck knows,' He responded, propping himself on his elbows.
'He is on a run, you little menace!' Enzo appeared behind her, a towel around his waist as he crossed his arms. She gave him a sheepish smile.
'Sorry, Enz, I just wanted to get him back!'
'This has gone way too far now,' He said as Mattheo entered the room and took in the scene before him. A cackle left his mouth as he put the pieces together.
'I'll get you back, Riddle.' Y/N jabbed a finger into his chest as she passed him by.
That morning at breakfast, the table ate in silence. Enzo huffed. 'That's it; no more shower shenanigans! We're all terrified to shower now, in case someone comes barging in.'
Pansy rolled her eyes, moving her pancakes with her fork. 'This is all Nott's fault.'
'Hey!'
'Well, it is, Theo-'
'No one asked you to get involved, Y/L/N-'
'I had to because Matt-'
'Hey, mine was an accid-'
'Enough!' Blaise's voice boomed across the table, silencing the bickering amongst the group.
'Theodore, apologise to Pansy.' Astoria instructed.
Theo muttered a quiet. 'Sorry Pans.'
'Pansy, apologise to Mattheo.' Blaise told her.
'Sorry, Matt.' She said with a sheepish smile.
'Riddle, apologise to Y/N.'
Mattheo did as Draco told him. 'I'm sorry, Y/N.'
'Y/N, apologise to Lorenzo.'
'Sorry, Enz.' She gave his shoulder a small nudge with hers.
'Right, now that's all sorted...' Y/N looked up at the girl beside her with her brow raised. 'Well?'
Draco furrowed his brows as the girl before him stared at his girlfriend. 'Well, what?'
'Aren't you three going to apologise for taking the piss out of us?' Draco, Blaise, and Astoria all shared a glance before murmuring their own apology.
The group all shared a knowing look before bursting into laughter. They could never be mad at each other for long.

Take a big deep breath for me and let it out slowly. Have you drank water today? Eaten a little snack? I'm so proud of you for waking up today and for keeping going. I know the world is a scary place, and there's so much bad, and I appreciate your willingness to continue to try. I hope your scrolling brings you comfort and peace, I hope you find a safe place to land for a little while.
I'll let you get back to your scrolling soon. What are you looking for today? Enemies to lovers? Found family? Accidental baby acquisitions? Will it be a reader insert or a completely new AU? I'm sure your comfort characters are waiting for you, for your next adventure, or to revisit an old one. Just a small reminder before you go, you are loved, you are wanted, and you matter. Your comfort character would love your every flaw and would love you in all stages of your life. From your best to your worst, they would love you and want you to stay. If you love them in every universe and stage of being, flaws and all, then you can believe they'd love you the same. If there's a million different universes, then there's at least one where you're their favorite comfort character, too, and I promise they're rooting for you every step along the way.
Your comfort character believes in you and so do I, the girl on the other side of the screen who will always be a safe place to land. You are loved, you matter, you are important.

Fortune
Platonic Yander Malfoy!Family x Dragon!reader (GN)
Summary: A long time ago there lived a species of dragon-hybrids with magical gifts. You - one of these hybrids - had the gift of bringing good fortune to whoever was close to you, but as you'd soon learn, using your gift to help others would only endanger you...
! Minors do not interact !
TW: Not Canon Complainant about the Malfoy's backstory, imprisonment, manipulation, kidnapping, infantilisation (kinda), I do not condone this - this is all fiction
One or two Centuries ago, when muggles still believed in magic and fantastical creatures roamed the earth almost freely, many more kinds of species lived in nature. Some of them were closely related to creatures still on this planet in the present. One example of such a case was a kind of dragon that had long since left the face of the earth, one that shared many similarities with the humans around it. In fact, these dragons had the ability to shift from their full dragon form to that of a bipedal, humanoid dragon-person hybrid. Further than their ability to shift though was their ability to innately use magic.
Now, their abilities were not like the abilities of wizards and witches who could put their magic into words and gestures, using their magic as a medium to achieve many different goals. Instead, they tended to be born with a specific magical talent that differed from case to case - some could control different elements (since these dragons did not naturally have the ability to breathe fire or water), some could communicate with nature, some changed the weather, and others could use their scales to make themselves invisible to any living and dead being.
One of these dragons, still a young fetchling when this story began had a rare and sought-after ability - the ability to attract fortune. Something every dragon with a knack for hoarding (so almost all) would kill for, which was why the little dragon-hybrid was told from a very young age to keep hidden from creatures that would use them and their powers for their own gain. This young dragon was you - and often, when you now fell asleep, you still dreamt of the night that would turn out to be the one to doom your entire life.
You had barely just started to fly without your parent's supervision and after being kept at home for your entire (short) life in hopes that no one would try to use you, your curiosity for real life and everything beyond the mountain you called home grew restless. So you did what any curious child with the ability to fly would do and you took off to where you knew the nearest village to be. You landed a few miles away from it, well aware that your parents would be furious beyond belief if you went into town and let your existence be known to humans. After all, your parents always did make a point of mentioning just how greedy and selfish humans tended to be.
You were a fool to not believe them. You were in your humanoid form - comparable with a human child of about eight or nine years - as you stepped into a clearing. The sound of sobbing echoed through the trees around you and your eyes fell onto a form hunched onto the floor in sobs. They looked similar to you, but a lot smoother, and without any horns or wings protruding out of their back. Honestly, they looked really strange, but your parents had described something similar to what you were seeing and they had said that these smooth wingless things were humans. Obviously, you were intrigued.
"Why are you crying?" you asked in your young, squeaky voice and the human jumped up, turning to look at you in shock. Their eyes widened even further at your appearance, but they seemed too shaken to properly realize what was going on.
"You-You're a - You're a dragon?" they finally stuttered out, their tears long forgotten. You couldn't help but giggle, of course, you were a dragon, what else were you supposed to be?
"Yes I am, and you're a human, right?" you asked and they only responded by nodding, "then why were you crying, human?"
"I-" They seemed to question their reality for a second, probably wondering if they should tell a random little dragon-hybrid their sorrows, but they responded nonetheless, "My mother... She's very ill and I don't have the money to buy the medicine she needs, I fear that she'll pass away soon and then I will be all alone in the world."
As their tears build up again, you feel yourself sympathize with the human. Sure, you had your parents, but they were travelling all of the time, leaving you to your own devices and even your siblings had been allowed to leave the nest and make a way of their own, it was just you who was kept alone in the cave under the pretence of protection. So you very well knew how it felt to be alone, to be lonely. And so you knew that if you could do something against someone else feeling like that, then you would.
"I can help you!" you exclaimed excitedly at the thought of doing something good.
"What? How?" the human - you decided that if humans were at all similar to your own kin then they must have been a man - asked, completely perplexed as you walked towards him, stopping just a step away.
"It's my gift, I can bring fortune to people, I can help you make the money you need for the medicine," you were smiling brightly now, but the human still seemed confused. 'How,' he just asked and you told him to kneel down. Usually, your presence alone was enough to attract riches and riches beyond most people's dreams, but you knew that if you wanted to help someone attract fortune without being near them, you had to use a different tactic. And so, once the man had knelt down, you pressed a kiss to his forehead and a shimmer of silver light sparkled over his face - the same silver of your scales.
After that you left for home, but before you could take off the human called out to you: "What's your name? Will I see you again?"
"I'm Y/N - and I don't know, I hope so," you responded as you took flight and the last thing they shouted to you before the distance was too large to hear them was that their name was Layton Malfoy.
After that, you used every chance you had to fly to that clearing where Layton was usually already waiting for you - he'd tell you all these amazing stories of his life and he'd entertain you, trying to be your best friend. At least you thought that was all he wanted. What you didn't realize was that slowly but surely he was trying to keep you by his side longer and longer, always finding another reason as to why you should stay, telling you how your parents were using you, about how they weren't these amazing dragons that you thought them to be. And maybe because you were just a lonely child who was just desperate for the attention or maybe because Layton was your first friend and you didn't believe friends would lie to each other, you believed him. And so after he kept telling you all these things about how he was the one who would actually protect you, about how he'd finally let you live a normal life, you left the clearing with him towards his home town - thinking about how you'd return home one day and tell your parents about how wrong they were about humans and about all the great things you lived through.
You never returned home though, in fact, you never saw your parents again. Decades later - you were now comparable to a human teenager - Layton's grandchildren had told you that the dragon-hybrids had been declared extinct after they had been hunted for their powers and their horns. The Malfoy heir told you that he was so happy that his grandfather had 'taken you in' and how the entire family just felt thankful that you hadn't been hunted as well. He elected to ignore the fact that you were shackled to a wall in a secret Cellar below their large estate - possible only because they had you locked away to attract them money,.
After finding out about the cruel fate of your kin, you shifted into your dragon form attempting to not give the Malfoy any sense of result by responding to them or even just paying attention to them. You rolled into yourself, closed your eyes and stopped things but eat, drink and sleep. No matter how often the ever-evolving generations of Malfoys tried to get you to interact with them, you just stayed silent. Honestly, you were surprised that after decades of silence, they still tried to talk to you - wasn't your presence in their cellar enough? You were still attracting fortune for them, what more did they want? Over the years they tried to get you out of your shell by decorating your cellar with numerous pillows and blankets and things that dragons loved in their hord. Your Chamber probably had more money, jewels and riches in it than their bank account. And yet, as much as you secretly appreciated your new horde, you stayed silent.
At least until a new Malfoy was born and old enough to come down to you on his own. Lucius was just a child when he saw you for the first time lying curled into yourself in your pile of riches and pillows and blankets, but even he could see the sadness in your form. And so he tried to talk to you, but like his parents and grandparents had told him, the dragon in their cellar did not talk. But he didn't stop, he told you about how he thought the family had enough money already, about how he thought they should let you free and how you'd be able to breathe fresh air again once he became the patriarch of the family. Maybe it was the earnestness in his voice or the fact that he reminded you of yourself when you were a hatchling, still trusting in the world around you, but you caved and you shifted for the first time in what must have been over 100 years.
It was safe to say Lucius was ecstatic and the two of you soon became close. You talked to him and him only, and he enjoyed it immensely. He tried to spend as much time as possible down with you and was so close to you that you actually let him nap with you in your horde (he always got to lie on the parts with lots of pillows and blankets, because you knew humans were a lot more sensitive than you). And as he grew older you tried to remind him of his promise and at first he agreed, but the older he grew the more unsure he seemed. Still, he agreed - probably knowing that you'd stop your friendship with him once you realized that he didn't intend to keep his promise anymore.
It was only once he came down, dressed all in black, now an adult with his own child, telling you that his father Abraxas had passed because of a case of Dragon Pox - a cruel wink of fate as you couldn't help but think - that you excitedly ran towards the bars of your cage, believing that you'd finally be let out of this horrible prison. Only that Lucius didn't open the door. 'Why?' you asked him, silver streaks of tears streaming down your cheeks, 'Don't you have enough Fortune? Is the money really worth it?'.
"It was never about the money, at least not for me if it was just that I would let you go in a heartbeat, but I know that the second I let you out you'll be gone. You'll leave me behind, here without you, and I don't think I can do that Y/N. I need to know that you're here, safe, where I always know you're well cared for. I hope one day you'll be able to forgive me - even if I'm not there to experience it."
That was the day you realized that Lucius and Narcissa - and after his son Draco as well - would never let you go. They did try to make your living 'situation' more comfortable, changing out the bars to your cave with an actual door after putting enough spells on you to keep you from ever leaving the premises of their mansion, keeping you from kind of violence against them and keeping alerting them should you ever be in any kind of distress or danger. Soon they had integrated you into their everyday life, treating you like a child to be protected and not like you've had lived longer than they could ever imagine. Even Draco - who grew up with you as a constant in his life - developed the same sense of protectiveness that his parents had, as if he wasn't a literal child, and when it was time for him to leave for Hogwarts he insisted you writing him at least once a week, because otherwise he was sure he'd go insane with worry (at least that was what he said).
And so, while for a few decades, you had actually thought freedom was close, you soon realized that you had just switched one prison against a slightly more glamorous one - and it seemed that as long as there were Malfoys, you'd never be able to escape it.
A/N: This is based on another great idea by @sol565 so I wanna give them a big thanks and a big shoutout ❤️❤️❤️

AN: ♥️💗
“Y/L/N.”
“Scorpius.” You smiled. “I thought we were past the point in our relationship where we address each other by last name.”
He smiled back, kissing your temple gently. “How was your day, my love?”
“Fine. Better now that you’re here.”
“Get a room, I beg of you.”
The couple laughed, turning around the see their best friend. “Albus, just because your girlfriend won’t speak to you, doesn’t mean you can take your anger out on us.”
You nodded, sticking out your tongue. “Yeah, Potter.”
“You two make me sick.” He scoffed. “What shall we do today?”
“We?” You asked. “I have class.”
Albus rolled his eyes. “I still don’t understand how you take so many classes. Advanced Ancient Runes and History of Magic are at the same time.”
You wiggled your eyebrows. “A magician never reveals their secrets, dear padawan.”
Scorpius tilted his head. “Padawan?”
“Oh, my love…” You patted his arm condescendingly. “I need to educate you on arguably the best muggle film franchise of all time.”
Albus laughed. “Wrong. The best is Lord of the Rings.”
“As much as I would love to continue this debate-” You kissed Scorpius’s cheek quickly, turning down the following corridor. “I have to go.” A hand grabbed your wrist, and you sighed. “Scor- Mmph!”
His lips slammed against yours, and your eyes fluttered shut, wrapping your arms around his neck. “Salazar, again?”
You smiled, pulling your lips from his just barely so you could respond. “Like my lovely boyfriend said earlier, just because you’re-” Scorpius kissed you again, and even though it pained you to stop, you would be late to class if you stayed any longer. “You have to stop interrupting me when I start to reach a valid point.”
“But you’re just so stunning, how can I not-” This time, you caught him by surprise, kissing him before he could finish his sentence. He laughed, nudging his nose against yours gently. “Message received.”
You walked away, waving goodbye. “See you later, love.”
Thanks to your ravenous boyfriend, you were now late for class. You stalked down the corridor, paying no attention to your surroundings. Unbuttoning the top buttons on your shirt, you pulled the time turner out from beneath, twisting it to take you back a couple of hours, back to when Advanced Ancient Runes began.
“Watch out- Merlin!”
Before you’d realized what happened, you flew forward, books flinging out of your arms and across the hall. “Shit, I’m sorry I was-” You pushed away the student that was trying to help you, the glint of the time turner catching your eye. They welled with tears, if the turns were even slightly off, you would be thrown into a completely different time, or, Salazar forbid, place. Grabbing it from the ground, you fumbled with the circles, desperately trying to fix what had been done, but it was too late.
Your surroundings were starting to change before your eyes. The Headmistress had warned you, she’d warned you that this could have consequences- You squeezed your eyes shut, hoping the fall hadn’t altered the time jump to the point that it became irreversible.
The hall looked the same at first glance: same walls, same distress marks from generations of students walking in the same place. You knew the student you tripped over wouldn’t be there, but you hadn’t expected the world to seem so… dark. The sky was grey, void of all the cheer and warmth your Hogwarts constantly had.
“Is there a reason you are not in class?”
That drawl. You turned around, Snape staring at you with his usual dead gaze.
In a sense, you felt relieved. You’d never loved your Head of House, but seeing a familiar face let a small flicker of hope creep into your heart. “Professor, I need to see the Headmistress immediately.”
He crossed his arms. “Do you think you amuse me?”
“I’m sorry?”
“I’m sorry, sir.” He hissed.
You fought the urge to roll your eyes. Even in this timeline, Snape was the same uptight buzzkill. “Alright then. May I see Professor McGonagall?”
“Professor McGonagall is no longer teaching at Hogwarts.” His eyes narrowed, glancing down at your hand, the chain of your time turner dangling. “What have you-”
You pushed past him, running down the corridor, trying to find any familiar face that could help you. “Scorpius? Albus? Professor-”
“Scorpius.” There your boyfriend stood, in all his glory. His hair was slick, compared to its usual volume and life. His face looked solemn, and his eyes- you frowned.
This was not your Scorpius.
“Love-” He made no point to respond, instead, he glared, gripping his wand tightly.
“How dare you speak to me that way? You- you filthy mud-.”
“Scorpius.” Your heart broke, that phrase confirming how dark a timeline you’d traveled to. Scorpius would never have said that. Salazar, he'd never have even thought it. “It’s me-”
“Y/L/N, I don’t know if you’ve acquired a concussion, but you and I are not, nor have we ever been lovers.” He stepped closer, holding his wand up. “You have two seconds to get out of my sight before I change my mind and curse you.”
“Just wait one moment. Where’s Albus?” Stalling could be your friend. You hoped it would be your friend. Even if you and Scorpius weren’t together, there was no doubt in your mind that he and Albus had not bonded in this universe too.
Your hopes were once again crushed. His once beautiful grey eyes grew dark, dangerous in a way you didn’t trust. “How dare you!”
You drew your wand from the pocket of your robe, gripping McGonagall's time turner tightly in the other hand. “Where is he?”
His voice held more venom than you’d ever thought he could possess. “Potter is dead. Good riddance, I say. He was a blood traitor and a-”
“I dare you to say that again.” You hissed, throwing out any sense of restraint you’d held before. This is what Professor Potter had trained you for; you’d just never thought you’d use his lessons on your alternate-timeline boyfriend. “You know your father would never allow this. Stop this blood purity nonsense-”
“I should just call him now, see what should be done with you.”
“He?” A chill ran down your spine. Surely he hadn't-
Scorpius was closer now, close enough that you could smell his cologne. It had at a time, brought you comfort. Now, it drove fear through your veins. “Scared? He’ll want to meet the last mudblood-”
“Petrificus Totalus.” His eyes widened while his body went stiff. He stilled for a moment, before you pushed him back, falling to the ground with a thud. Looming over him, wand still firmly grasped in hand, you prepared yourself to see what you knew was branded on him. You crouched down, grabbing his arm and shoving his sleeve up to confirm the truth you knew - your lovely boy was a Death Eater, the very thing out to kill you.
You stood up so fast your head began to spin. Your palm shook as you tried to fix what brought you here in the first place. You had no idea what or who would round the corner, permanently taking away your ability to leave. Twisting the outer ring once forward, the middle ring twice backward, and the inner ring forward twice, you squeezed your eyes shut once again, hoping that when you opened them, you could get rid of this time turner and find some peace.
“Y/N?” You knew that voice. Clutching your wand, you took a step back, glaring at the boy in front of you. “Just- get back.”
“What?” Scorpius tilted his head. “Has something hap-”
“I said get back!” You raised your wand, and Scorpius raised his hands in surrender.
“Love?” He looked equal parts worried and concerned. “You’re scaring m-”
You whipped around, sprinting down the hall that led to the Headmistress’s office. Yelling out the password, you walked up the stairs, slamming the time turner on McGonagall’s desk. The older witch looked up from her work, raising an eyebrow. “What is the reason for this-” Her gaze softened when she realized you were on the verge of tears. “Take a seat.”
You shook your head. “There’s no need, Headmistress. I can’t use this any longer. It’s- I’ve-”
McGonagall raised her hand. “No explanation is necessary. You’re a bright student, I’m certain your professors will be more than happy to accommodate you.”
“Thank you.”
She nodded, gesturing to a tin of biscuits that sat open at the front of her desk. “Take a biscuit.”
“I-”
“Take a biscuit. Calms the nerves.”
“Yes, ma’am.” You smiled, grabbing the nearest chocolate biscuit.
The Headmistress continued. “I will tell your professors that you spent the day assisting me with next year’s prefect selections, and therefore could not make it to class.”
“There’s really no need-”
“Take the favor, my dear.” She interrupted, shooing you away. “Now go on.”
“What’s wrong with you?” Albus stared at his best friend, who was lying face-first on his pillows. He laughed, sitting down on his bed. “Has Y/N stopped talking to you as well?”
Scorpius peeked out from the pillow, nodding once. Albus’s smile dropped. “Actually?”
Scorpius rolled over, face void of emotion. “Told me to go away.”
“What have you done?”
“Nothing!” He yelled. “That I can think of.”
“Want me to see what’s the matter?”
The blonde sat up, smiling eagerly. “You’d do that for me?”
“Salazar, I was bloody joking-” Scorpius looked dejected. “But if you want…”
Albus groaned as he knocked on the 7th year prefect dorms. How’d Scorpius convince him to do this, to get directly in the middle of their spat? “Y/N? It’s Albus.”
“Come in.”
He pushed the door open, sighing at the sight before him. “Are you alright?”
You nodded. “Fine.”
He crossed his arms. “Really?”
You sighed. “He’s told you?”
“Hasn’t told me much, considering you haven’t told him much.” He stepped forward, speaking gently. “What did he do?”
“Just-” You sighed. “Promise me you’ll look after him.”
“I will, but can you-”
“Albus…” Your heart was breaking. “I can’t tell you, it’s confidential.”
He nodded, your statement confirming what he’d already known: you had access to a time-turner, and something had gone wrong, wrong enough for you to break up with your loving boyfriend. “I’ll take care of him, but I can’t promise that he won’t ask questions.” He stepped forward, grabbing your hands in his. “He’s worried sick about you.”
Your eyes welled with tears. “He’ll forget- the House Cup is coming up soon.” You stood up, tidying your room as you spoke, realizing you had a guest. “Co-Captain is a big role, he’ll be focused on that.”
Albus laughed, standing up to help you clean. “That’s what I’m concerned about. As the second Co-Captain, I need my team focused, and I don’t exactly think he will be when his-” He stopped, sighing. “I think this could all be solved if you just talked to him.”
“I need time. Please.”
Albus nodded. “I’ll relay the message.”
It’d been weeks since you’d seen him, avoiding all the places you’d once sought out. He was always in the library, the Slytherin common room, the quidditch pitch. You’d gone out of your way to eat meals on the opposite side of the table, staring at the ground so you wouldn’t meet his eyes.
Layla Goldstein, your closest friend outside of Slytherin, saw how miserable you were cooped up in your dorm every night, and began to invite you to the Ravenclaw common room. It was the perfect space for studying, which made sense, considering Ravenclaw’s reputation.
You and Layla had always been close, sitting next to each other on the train to Hogwarts before you’d even been sorted. She was a perfect shoulder to cry on, or ignore your problems, much like you were doing now. She’d never explicitly asked you what’d happened, but you’d told her anyway.
She groaned, slamming her head playfully against her textbook. “Shall we take a break?”
You grinned, nodding energetically. “I thought you’d never ask.”
Standing up, she stretched, tossing out ideas for a change of scenery. “How about the Great Hall?”
You shook your head. “The kitchens are much quieter. Easier to take your mind off school when you can’t see anyone you know.”
Layla laughed, following after you. “And how do you know the way into the kitchens?”
You hooked your arm through hers, whispering. “Let’s just say James Potter is a horrible influence.”
“Of course it was James.”
You turned around, wiggling your eyebrows. “Something you want to say?”
She scoffed, shoving you playfully. “Bugger off. Can I not make an observation?”
“Of course you can. But don’t expect me to sit quietly.” You stopped in front of the tapestry, tickling the pear, and pushing on the wall until it opened. “You’ll love it. The house elves are so sweet, they’re actually-”
Your breath felt as if it was knocked out of you. There he was, as beautiful as ever. You’d thought he was a figment of your imagination, something you’d conjured up in a fit of delusion. This wasn’t the first time it would have happened since you’d stopped seeing each other; just a glimpse of blonde hair had your heart skip. It was never him of course, and then you would have to remind yourself Scorpius wasn’t here.
“Darling.” His familiar cologne filled your senses.
“Scorpius.” You responded quietly.
Layla leaned forward, whispering in your ear. “Should we-”
You nodded. “The Great Hall is sounding better now. Besides-”
“I miss you.” His eyes were watering, hands itching to reach out and hold yours. “Can we talk?”
You felt like you were on fire the way he was holding your gaze. “I don’t think there’s anything to say.”
“Well that’s not true, is it, love?” He took a step forward, and you instinctively reacted by stepping back, furthering yourself from him. He sighed, obviously upset with how everything had ended. You couldn’t blame him, you’d given him no context as to why you wanted a break. “Like that for example. You’ve never done that-”
Layla clapped her hands, breaking your gaze. “It seems as if you two need to talk.”
“No!” You shook your head. “Let’s just go back, I’m not hungry anymore.”
“Y/N-”
You whipped around, following after Layla without sparing him a second glance.
“Do you still love him?”
“As if I could ever stop.” You frowned, hugging yourself. “But whenever I think I’m over it, I see him and it all comes rushing back-”
“You don’t have to explain.” Layla smiled, hugging you quickly. “But let me ask you one thing. Would you rather lose the love of your life, or tell him what happened and work through it together?”
You scoffed, rolling your eyes. “Have I told you how much I hate when you’re right?”
“I wasn’t sorted into Ravenclaw for my courage, now was I?”
“I know this class might seem lecture-heavy, but it’s vital we learn this so that it is never repeated again. Understood?” The class nodded, and Professor Potter smiled. “Good. Now, can anyone tell me the definition of blood prejudice?”
A few hands shot up, namely Rose Granger-Weasley, yours, and Layla’s. Potter called on his niece. “Ms. Granger-Weasley.”
“Blood prejudice is a form of discrimination, stemming from the categorization of magical bloodlines.”
He nodded. “Good, good. Can anyone name the three categories commonly associated with this term?”
Layla’s hand shot up. “Pure-bloods, half-bloods, and Muggle-borns.”
“Very good. Now, this question is a little harder, so don’t feel bad if you can’t answer.” You and Rose laughed, preparing to raise your hands regardless. “What was the cause behind the Second Wizarding War?” Both of your hands shot up, and the class laughed.
Professor Potter stopped for a second, before calling on you. “Y/L/N.”
“The Second Wizarding War was a result of the First Wizarding War. After Voldemort had been killed, most thought that peace would reign. But after a decade of hiding Death Eaters and followers had let their hate fester, a new resurgence of blood purity sprang. Its belief system reached a new height in 1996, with the death of Albus Dumbledore, and Hogwarts being overtaken by Voldemort’s most loyal supporters.”
Professor Potter grinned, clapping proudly. “Very well put-”
“What a load of nonsense.” A Ravenclaw boy muttered somewhere behind you.
“What was that?”
Oh, Merlin.
Scorpius was glaring at the boy, the entire class watching with anticipation. Under Scorpius’s gaze, the boy shrank, murmuring some sort of apology. Scorpius persisted, raising his voice. “Say that again.”
“Mr.Malfoy-”
Albus whispered in his friend’s ear, but Scorpius ignored him, standing up. “Do you disagree?”
The boy straightened his posture, his hand itching toward his wand. “I do.”
“Oh?” Scorpius looked daunting, his eyes dark, face void of all its usual light. “Do tell.”
“Scorpius…” Professor Potter spoke. “Sit down. Mr. Avery will be dealt with.”
Scorpius ignored him. “I want to hear you say why you disagree. I’m sure it’s extremely incorrect, but I want to-”
“Scorpius.” You hissed, his eyes instantly finding yours. “Sit down.”
He looked positively shocked, sitting down without another word. Avery must have felt quite full of himself again, because he began to taunt Scorpius, hissing when Potter couldn’t hear. “Look at that, Malfoy. Can’t even stand up for Y/L/N properly. No wonder your father- OW!”
The class quieted, staring at the boy once again. Professor Potter sighed. “What is it now, Mr. Avery?”
“Someone cursed me!”
Potter was visibly fighting the urge to laugh. “Who would have cursed you, Mr. Avery?”
“I don’t know, anyone!”
Potter looked out at the class. “Does anyone have something to admit to?” No one spoke. “No?”
You smirked, putting your wand back in your sleeve. He nodded. “Very well. Mr. Avery, please stay after class.”
Your juvenile peers began to tease him, poking fun at his inevitable detention. All you could do was stare at the front of the class, frozen. Scorpius was staring at you and had been since you’d told him to sit.
“Y/N.”
You turned around, smiling lightly. “James. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
“Can I not say hello to my favorite Slytherin?”
“I’m going to have to tell Albus you said that.”
He laughed, slinging an arm over your shoulder. “He knows he’s my favorite.”
“As much as I enjoy your company, I have a feeling you have an ulterior moment.”
“What makes you say that?”
“No reason.” You laughed. “Do you know Layla Goldstein?” James’s cheeks grew red, and you nodded. “Thought you might.”
“Has she said something about me?”
You grinned. “Why?”
“I-” He groaned, realizing you had been teasing him. “You know.”
“Of course I know, she’s my best friend.”
“Which is why I wanted to ask a favor.”
“I’m listening.”
Can you-”
“Y/N!”
James rolled his eyes, nudging her lightly. “My, you are popular.”
You laughed, turning around. “I’ve been- Scorpius.” He was bouncing nervously, still smiling just as brightly as ever.
James coughed. “I’ll uh, ask you later then.”
Your eyes widened. “James, you can-”
“Too late, I’m halfway down the corridor.”
You clenched your fists, sighing as you faced Scorpius once more. He inched forward until you were a breath apart. His cologne pulled you in, regardless of the mixed feelings you had - when he’d trap you in his arms, kissing you senseless until you were weak in the knees.
More recently, when he threatened to call Voldemort.
“I have to-”
“I need to know what happened.” His smile had fallen. “If you don’t want to-” His voice grew quiet. “If you don’t want to be with me I can accept it. I just need to know why. Please.”
“If I tell you…” You whispered. “You can’t tell anyone else.”
“Alright.”
“Not even Albus.”
“I-” Your face was serious, the most serious he’d ever seen. “I swear.”
You nodded, grabbing his hand and pulling him down a hidden alley. If everything was fine between you, he would have made a comment about you being forward, now he just watched in silence. You stopped, letting go of his hand immediately. “He was right.”
“Who?”
“Albus.”
“About?”
“You know how I’ve been taking Advanced Ancient Runes and History of Magic?” He nodded. “They’re at the same time, and well… McGonagall gave me her time-turner. I tripped after you- well you distracted me and I twisted the last ring wrong, and was sent to an alternate reality.”
His eyes tripled in size. “I’m sorry?”
“You should be.” You murmured. “I told you, kissing me like that-” You smiled at his pink cheeks, remembering what your original purpose had been. “Anyways, the air was cold and gloomy. The warmth was… gone.” You shivered. “And then I saw Snape and he wasn’t any help- And I ran away, calling out for someone, when I saw you. But it wasn’t- it wasn’t you, exactly. You were cold, calling me a- You called me a mudblood, alluded to the fact that you killed Albus, and then tried calling Voldemort on me.” You huffed, flailing your arms. “There, now you know every-”
“Oh, darling.” He looked concerned more than satisfied. “I can’t believe you have access to a time-turner.”
You scoffed. “That’s what you focused on?”
“Of course not, but…” He took a deep breath. “We can work around that. I understand now, why you needed time that is. And I’m sorry that you went through that alone, that I didn’t corner you sooner.”
You laughed. “I chose to go through this alone, don’t blame yourself.” Taking a step forward, you reached out for his hands, holding them in yours. “You know, it’s just like you to apologize for something you didn’t do. You’re perfect, my love.”
“That’s all you, I’m afraid.” He squeezed your hands gently, taking a step back. “I’ll see you around, yeah?”
“That’s it?” You teased him. “You’re just going to walk away?”
He sauntered over, his eyes twinkling with that look that’d gotten you into this situation. “Do you want something else to happen?”
“Dunno.” You shrugged, resisting the urge to sprint into his arms. “I suppose finally telling you has lifted the spell I was under.”
“Oh?” He laughed. “Even if it didn’t work, I’ll be here, waiting until it does.”
Your heart felt full. “Salazar, you are perfect.”
“Say that again, please.”
You grabbed his hands once more, pulling him closer. “You’re perfect.” Standing on your tiptoes, you kissed his cheek. “And I love you.”
You walked away, knowing that he’d follow after you, that was the fun after all. His footsteps echoed down the corridor, and you smiled. “Finally caught up did you?” His hand grabbed your waist, spinning you around until you were face to face.
“I love you too.”
“Good.” You whispered, wrapping your arms around his neck. “Now, have I mentioned you’re perfect?”
He shook his head, lips itching to kiss yours. “Not recently, I don’t think it would hurt to hear it.”
“Ah. Well in that case- mmph!” Your eyes fluttered shut, falling into his kiss.
“Sorry.” He pulled away, grinning boyishly. “I’ll stop interrupting you someday.”
“As long as you interrupt me like that-” You kissed him lightly. “You have my full permission.”

=====
The group lets out a booming roar as Cedric drops his name into the goblet. You half-heartedly join in, clapping along with his friends while the blue fire eats his name. The sound of singeing seals Cedric’s fate; if his name is popped out tomorrow night, he was in the game.
The Tournament was filled with hard tasks, doubling the intensity most likely since the volunteers were at legal age. Times were pretty messed up right now and you wouldn’t put it past whoever was behind this to make the students work for the reward. The uncertainty is what would kill you… and possibly Cedric.
Alfred already has the blonde in a chokehold when you turn back to them. You watch as the rest give him pats on the back or words of positivity, the worry slowly dissipating when you see the smile on his face. He lets out a laugh before pushing his friend off of him and lurching off him and onto you.
You barely have time to hug back as he starts to squeeze you, letting out another laugh.
“Oi, Cedi, I don’t think they’ll let you participate if you’re in Azkaban for suffocating me to death,” You joke but he only tightens his hold. The pressure and his excitement rubbing off of you makes you giggle.
He pulls back slightly and stares at you for a moment then he places a wet, sloppy kiss on your forehead and disappears back into his crowd of friends. A large blush appears on your face from his affectionate action. It wasn’t like you weren’t touchy with your friends, far from it, but the new crowd of students intimidated you. You could feel the eyes burning into your skin and you just wanted to combust.
A tuff of red hair comes into view and you reach out for safety. Ron’s head turns as he feels a gentle touch on his elbow, his confusion dissipating when he sees you falling into step with him and Harry.
“Oh, hi (Y/N).” He greets you with a small smile which you half return, “Pretty wild that Cedric put his name in the cup, huh?”
You nod absent-mindedly, looking around the students standing about the room to see if you spotted the two nimrods you were searching for. “Have you seen the twins?”
He shakes his head and you turn to Harry who does the same. You let out a sigh, dropping your hand from your hold on him and looking down at your shoes. You wanted to find the twin before they finished their potion, hoping to help them out instead of having them kill themselves prior to them even putting their name into the Goblet. There was an apology in order from you once you realized how your words had a double meaning to them. You weren’t trying to undermine them, you were just scared to lose them.
Harry seemed to notice your face fall and the gears turning in your head, “Why are you looking for them? Is everything okay?”
You bite your lip, debating telling the two what happened. “I kind of… yelled at them this morning for wanting to put their name in.” You shyly admit making Ron let out a light laugh. Your eyes immediately snap to him and send him a scowl. He doesn’t seem to get the hint until Harry knocks his shoulder with his.
“Yea, I would be mad too if I were as close as you were with them.” The black-haired boy consoles, “Who would want to put their life at risk for a silly title and some galleons?”
Sometimes you wonder how someone could be so rude to that boy. You didn’t interact with Harry a lot but when you did it was always pleasant.
You open your mouth to respond but it dies in your throat when the room fills with cheers and hooting. All eyes turn toward the door as the twins bounce through causing an uproar. People clap as they hold up the long glass vials, showing off their finished product.
Their cockiness makes every bit of guilt and remorse you feel fly out the window. Sure, it was kind of impressive that the two could whip up such a complicated potion within less than 24 hours but still. They were prancing around like it wasn’t going to be the thing that killed them.
Maybe you were being a bit extreme. But, still, it was a stupid idea. They had an age restriction for a reason.
After a brief conversation with Hermione who pointed out that the age line would just knock them out (something your brain failed to point out before your emotions took over), they make a show of linking arms like a couple at a wedding and down the liquid.
Your breath hitches when they drop from the bench and leap over the age line, the room going silent in anticipation. When nothing happens, the crowd resumes praising the two. You can’t help yourself from smiling, a weird sense of pride replacing the worry since they outwitted Dumbledore himself.
The boys dance around the circle, yes-ing and throwing thumbs up to everyone. They then both raise an arm and drop their papers into the Goblet. The same bolt of panic that surged through you when Cedric put his name in shoots through your spine again. You didn’t have any time to dwell on the feeling before their whole plan turns sour.
Blue flames twist out of the goblet, swirling in the air before shooting out and blasting the red-haired nitwits. The blow sends them flying back, students circle them once they land. You’re too far away to see what they’re doing, too busy processing what just happened before chants fill the air.
“Oh Merlin,” You finally snap out of it, rushing around the circle and rushing towards them. You wiggle through the crowd, pushing people out of the way and halting when you come to the front. The twins were rolling around on the floor, greybeards and all, wrestling each other.
You let out an indigent sound, angry at the two for getting themselves into this situation in the first place but also at everyone who is just sitting back and watching.
Rushing forward, you try to pull the two old men apart. You tug at whoever was on top’s robes and a hand flies back to hit you. You gasp at them, grabbing the hood and using all your strength to at least give them a hint. The twin on top rolls off beside the other and they both look up at you.
You stare down at them, they both have long grey hair and matching fluffy beards. There was a small skip of a beat in your heart as you looked at what the two would look like when they were old. Hopefully, this won’t be the only time you would see the two like this.
Shaking your head to knock the paranoid thoughts out, you focus back on the situation at hand. “Are you two stupid? Even Hermione told you that it wouldn’t have worked.” They just share a pained glance with one another. You snap your fingers, grabbing their attention again but all you get is their puppy dog eyes. “Why don’t you two listen to me ever?”
They send you a sheepish smile, barely visible under their large beards. You let out a dramatic groan, “Get up, nimrods.” You signal them with one hand and turn around, not bothering to see if they are following. The sea of students part for you, the scowl on your face enough to strike fear into them to clear a path without question.
None of you say anything until the three of you were out in the corridor, the only words being spoken along the way were Ron wishing the twins good luck. Once the doors shut, the two start bickering once again.
You’re tempted to stomp your foot like a child, but you are too busy focusing your energy into not tripping up the staircase. People stare as you march through the corridors, some Beauxbatons students whispering in French as you pass.
The twins bump into you when you stop abruptly. Both of them are about to mouth off something yet decided against it when you raise a finger. “Could you two stop for one second?” One of them, Fred presumably, opens his mouth to spit something back but George stops him with a light smack to his chest. You give him a grateful smile before digging into your robes for something.
Two potions daggle in front of the two boys making the older, well usually older, one roll his eyes. “You really made a bloody antidote. Do you have zero faith in us?” He scoffs but takes the potion and storms off.
You call after him, giving up when he turns a corner and disappears. As much as you like Fred and appreciate the friendship he forced upon you, he was quite difficult to make amends with when a problem arises. A frustrated huff escapes your mouth and your shoulders slump. Would he have rather gone to the hospital wing and get in trouble?
Deciding it was better to talk to him when he cools off, you turn back around to face the remaining twin, “I’m sorry, Georgie.” A guilty smile crosses your lips, “You have to be a wiz at charms and potions to pull the pranks. I didn’t mean to insult your guys’ intelligence, just your decision making skills.” He rolls his eyes, “I mean, I just don’t understand why you two would just jump on the opportunity to basically kill yourself for money.”
“Well, we’d rather die than not get the money.”
“George— “
A small smirk appears on his face when your voice raises a few octaves, anything to release some of the tension built up between the three of you. “Love, I’m kidding.” He runs a soothing hand over your scalp, running it down your arm and ending its journey when his hand slips into yours. You lean into his touch easily, glad they’re not the wrinkled ones from moments before. “You really don’t get it, do you?”
His tilted head makes you frown, you truly had no idea why the two were so adamant about joining this tournament. The risk outweighed the reward by miles. You felt guilty about calling them stupid, not about being protective of them. You just shake your head in return and let him guide you to a nearby bench.
The red head opens his mouth then closes it, not knowing how to express his feelings without you taking it the wrong way. “Fred was right when he said we don’t have money like you do-- not that he said it in the nicest way,” He quickly adds when he sees your head tilt down in shame, “Nor do we have the same notoriety that comes with your last name. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just--” He trails off and looks past you, trying to reorganize his thoughts.
“I don’t know my privilege sometimes.” You finish for him, and he nods to confirm. “I’m sorry, I guess I didn’t realize that.” The connections make sense, the glances shared between them when you went to the shop together, the nervous expression on George’s face every time you exchanged gifts during holidays, the staying at home during Hogsmeade weekends with “doing homework” excuses.
“We needed the money to open the joke shop and the allure it would get being owned by a Triwizard Champion, not because we wanted it for anything else.” He explains fully, glad to the realization on your face.
“What about the money from your bets at the cup?”
“Bagman said we needed a lesson about underage gambling.”
“That no good--”
George lets out a chuckle at how easily you switch moods. “Love, it’s fine.” He doesn’t know what’s gotten into him when he goes to run his other hand over your head again. The clarification of you worrying about him -them- waters his insides as his crush on you blossoms even more, “We’ll figure something out, Fred and I already have some plans.”
You huff and lean into him, “I am truly sorry, George. I really didn’t mean to insult you guys. I worry about Cedric but if something happened to you.” You look down at your intertwined hands, enjoying the moment before your eyes widen, “--Or Fred!” You quickly add, realizing what you said. If he heard your slip, he didn’t mention it. But, if you took a daring glance, you would see his bright red face. “Is there anything I can help with? As an apology?”
He fiddles with a loose string on the sleeve of your robe, debating between his options. “Do my potions essay?” That earns him a slap on the wrist making him giggle and squeeze you closer to him.
“I’ll be your first employee.” You offer, running through different ideas through your head. “I bet I can stock shelves faster than you.” A proud claim yet there is a mischievous glint in your eyes as you look up at him.
His mind goes blank at the thought of you suggesting a future event with him after graduation even if it was to make up for some silly understanding. Add that to the way you’re looking up at him, he couldn’t tell someone his name if they asked. He’s glad Fred stormed off because if his brother saw him this way, he could never live it down.
You call out to him, pulling him back into reality.
He feels his cheeks start to heat up, so he just pushes your head back into his shoulder, “We’ll see if you’ll have time once you’re traveling the world saving creatures.” You easily tuck into his side and fall into step with him as he starts moving the two of you down the corridor.
You falter a little at the mention of your dream career, the possibility of it slowly dwindling as time goes on. “I’ll always have time for my favorite Weasley.” The response comes so immediate, like it’s something you’ve said to him a thousand times. It’s like you don’t know what you do to him when you say those words— well, you couldn’t have since he’s never told you.
“I mean Ginny, of course. Not you.”
One last blow to regain the normalcy between you too. George recovers rather quickly this time, pinching your sides to make you as frazzled as he was. You let out a squeal, surprised by the action and push your face into him more.

Yandere Draco Malfoy x reader (Part 3)
Requested by: /
Warnings: Talks of murder, unlogical magic use, abuse of spells, violence and yandere stuff.
Parts: Part 1 , Part 2

And it was ass-
Draco woke up early to do his hair, insisting that he'd do yours aswell. And no, you were never as high end as him, so getting all these forgein products put into your hair wasn't pleasant.
He began choosing your weekend outfits. Styled your school robes when he didn't approve of how ruffled they were, he even went as far as to push you into the bathroom to shower when he found you too greasy. By wich you mean everyday....
You hadn't expected the blonde to be such a control freak, but he was. Okay, maybe you should have...
Currently, you were simply walking down a secluded hall.. again, when the statue next to you and Draco let its axe drop.
You weren't fast enough to completly save your most controlling friend, tough you did pull him into you out of reflex. A bleeding cut was created on his left arm... but it was better then getting an axe trough your head, you suppose.
Draco screams out in angony and you wince as the sound hurt your ears.
You drag the fool with you to the infirmairy while he's crying out in pain, hoping you get there before he passes out because in no way are you strong enough to carry this lanky kid.
You grit your teeth as you think back to the now thrid attempt at Draco's life. What student even has the balls to attempt this even once? And how had the teachers not caught them?
And why is Harry Potter staring at you and Draco from behind a corne-
What.
You whip your head around to face the chosen one who freezes as he's caught.
"I can explain-" He stutters out with his hands up to show his innocence.
"Did you try to kill him?" You ask simply while Draco's just screaming.
"No-"
"Okay." You turn back around and keep walking, you had bigger problems then Potter's questions right now.
"What? No wait-" He runs after you as you keep walking.
You don't really react as you keep dragging Draco away to the infirmairy.
Mrs.Pomfrey gasps in shock as you bring Draco in, she immeadiatly gets to work and you can finally drop the screaming blonde onto a bed, tough he's mostly just crying now.
Draco demands that you hold his other hand while Pomfery heals his arm.
So you suck up your free will and sit next to his bedside to hold his hand.
Harry hasn't left... Just stares at the scene in confusion.
"Why are you friends with Malfoy?" The dark haired boy asks.
You eye him for a moment, as you've never talked before.
"I'm not." You shrug and Draco almost snarls.
".. You are." The blonde croaks out in pain, just to correct you.
You roll your eyes and Harry's frown tightens.
"Do you have any clue's on who's trying to kill him?" Harry asks, as if the target isn't right by you two.
"A student, thats all I know. And if you're going to be asking questions atleast make it less obvious that you're interogating us." You scoff and the boy bites his lip, pushing his glasses back up.
"I want to help-"
"Yourself. We know."
You finish for him and he looks baffled.
"Thats not what I was going to say." Harry frowns more, fidgeting with his sleeves.
"But it was what you meant. It's a student, thats all I know. Now shoo because the more I talk to you the harder this git squishes my hand." You side glare at Draco who is currently glaring at Harry.
"Then let go of him. He'll be fine on his own, come help us search." Harry suggests a bit calmly now.
Wow, you've never tought of just letting go- Ofcourse you had! Draco just had a deathgrip on your hand.
"This doesn't concern you, Potter." You shake your head. Harry steps closer to look you in the eye.
"No, it does concern me. Nothing at this school ever happens without Voldemort being behind it, it has to be some kind of elaborate plan to get the schools defences down." Harry tries to convince you.
"Ah yes, killing Lucius' son is gonna bring all of Hogwarts down! The worst it's gonna do is have Draco's dad sue the school or something." You explain.
"You know his father?" Harry asks in disbelief. "Well not personally, why?" You ask in confusion, eyebrows scrunching together.
"He's evil." Harry whispers as if he isn't being glared at by the blonde.
"Yea so? Thats not my problem?" You shrug again and ignore the pulling on your hand from a clearly annoyed Slytherin.
"What? That... Y/N, just help us, you're with Draco all the time, and you've saved him too. We can solve this together." Harry starts again with his proposal.
"No, Potter, let the teachers solve things for once, go study or something. And why do you know my name?" You narrow your (e/c) eyes.
Harry stiffens. From what you've heard of Draco's shittalking, he's quite the stalker. Tough you'd never expected to be a victim of it.
"Don't worry about it, you're well known-"
"I'm not."
"You're friends with a Malfoy."
"I'm not." You repeat again.
"..You are.." Draco buts in again.
You sigh at the absurdity of this all. Harry wanted that thrill of mystery. Draco wanted a friend he could control and you just wanted to pass this year.
Very diffrent wants and needs. Not compatible.
So you'd ditch them both.
Easy as that.
When Draco was allowed out of the infirmairy you helped him back up to your shared room and ran off as fast as you could.
Two goals in mind, catch the mystery person and avoid everyone else.
So, out of pure desperation, you stole a polyjuice potion from proffesor Snape's supply. How, you may ask. You snuk a letter up under the door of his office that said he was needed by Dumbledore in terms of his potions career. It couldn't be too obvious, but it seems you had nailed it.
So without furder ado, you threw a hair of your blonde 'friend' into the potion. You had snatched a Slytherin tie from his closet. Quite an idiotic descicion to let you live in his dorm...
Oh well. You were transformed in a matter of minutes, tried to adjust the now blonde hair back to how neat Draco usually had it and set off to go find the most secluded and dark places off the castle.
If they wanted Draco malfoy dead, then they'd have to try harder.
It didn't take long before you felt watched. But you had to keep the cocky air up around you. Chin up, back straight.
And bam! A spell again! Right past your face from behind. Since you weren't actually Draco, you had been on guard. And this time this sucker wasn't getting away.
You chugged down a speed potion, accio-ing your broom as you ran after the person. Draco's height aided your sprint, tough you hoped the polyjuice potion didn't affect your own pyshical abilities because you doubt that Draco could hold up running as long as you.
Your broom flew into your hand not long after, stealing tricks from Potter wasn't a bad idea as long as no-one saw it!
You didn't even sit on the long stick, no time for that. You just let it drag you along as it flew. You didn't know brooms could even work like that, but your will power was enough for it to do so.
You pushed off against walls as you followed this person into the darker parts of the castle. Deeper into the dungeons. They must have realised long ago that you weren't Draco, or they'd have tried something to hurt you.
Glidinf off of stairs, ignoring the harsh thuds you made against walls and the layers of skin under your pants that were getting torn up by your landing and frantic turns and collisons.
It could all be fixed. As long as you finally caught this damm person it would all be worth it.
With a last jump you caught onto the persons black hood, togging it off and holding in to keep them in your grip.
A feminine yelp left the wrongdoer's mouth as you threw her onto the ground. Letting your broom fly out of your hands so you could pull out you wand, aimed right at her neck.
A....
A child....
First year, maybe.... second year?
You didn't know. But you eyes widened at the sight of this... scared girl.
But now's not the time to be weak, who knows, maybe she took a polyjuice potion too to get the wrong person jailed.
"Explain, right now." You demand in a snarl. It must have looked a lot more intimidating considering you had Draco's face at the moment... It was strange hearing his voice say your words...
"I-I only want him dead!" The girl shouts out. You stiffen and tug her up by the hair.
"And why?" You narrow your now grey eyed gaze. Glaring harshly.
"His father ruined my family! Why are you helping him!?" The girl sobbed. You weren't sure what to do...
Let a kid kill Draco or just turn her in...
You couldn't let her roam free and try again. If Draco actually died you'd be suspicious too.... And intergogated. Truth serum and bam, they had you as the one that let the murderer get away.
Is that a selfish tought?
Are you allowed to think that way?
"I'm helping him because I'm not letting someone die, Malfoy or not." You bite back.
"Thats stupid, he's using you! Let me go!" The girl tries to kick you, a quick 'Stupefy' to the face knocks her right out.
No, you made your desciscion, better safe then sorry. You'd just... deliver her to Dumbledore... Thats better then.. Snape? Better then McGonnagall? Atleast punishment wise. Maybe.. they'd just send her to therapy?
Yea.. lets believe in that...
You carried the girl out of the dungeons. Exhausted by the end of the stairs. If only you knew a spell to make bodies float, too bad thats a Potter exclusive.
After some breaks and huffs, you got to Dumbledore's way too high up office.
Trying to make the walls open or whatever, you hadn't ever been here before...
And you still looked like Draco...
Oh this day couldn't get any worse.
You managed to open the gateway, dropped the kid on a chair at Dumbledore's office and looked him in the eye.
"Malfoy, what brings you and Delaine here?" Dumbledore inquires calmly.
"It's L/N, sir. This is the girl thats been trying to kill Malfoy, excuse my looks..." You sigh and run a hand trough your- Draco's hair. Too much gel for your liking...
"L/N? I see. And how did you aquire a polyjuice potion?" Dumbledore asked with an amused smile.
He didn't look mad but you were'nt going to risk it.
"Lucius Malfoy aided me and Draco in our plan, sir." You lied spontaniously. The old man didn't seem to question it and just nodded.
....
"She isn't going to.. Azkaban, right?" You ask in a whisper.
"No... Miss Delaine hasn't killed anyone... yet. She'll be undergoing a trial. I'll be sure to give your house twenty points for your heroic behavior. You like it on the down low, don't you?" Dumbledore smiles.
You stiffen at his sudden.. correct assumption.
You tought he knew lots, but to know personal things about you? Some random student? Weirdo...
What's he? All seeing?
"You're dismissed, L/N. Be sure to visit the imfirmairy, you look quite rustled." Dumbledore advised and opens the gateway for you again.
You nod and walk out.
Only when the door closes again does your calm expression twist into guilt...
You just ruined some girls life... Not as bad as going to Azkaban... but you defenitly fucked it up..
But.. but it would have been worse for her if she had actually killed Draco. You keep repeating that all the way to the infirmairy.
Why did it have to be some kid?
You weren't sure wether to tell Draco the morning after.
You had come back to the dorm, no strange onlookers glared at you now that you looked liked Draco.
Tough you watched in the mirror as the potions' effects wore off. As the blonde melted back into (h/c) and your body became your own again.
All while you saw the person you were sleeping behind you.
He wasn't even tucked in correctly...
So you did that first... then went to bed yourself.
And now here you were, with Draco gushing over how amazing you looked with the Slytherin tie and how you should steal his clothes more often.
You refrained from looking angry since he didn't need to know all about your reasons for it.
A shame you forgot to change before going to sleep...
He made you wear that tie for the whole day.
It was like a claim.
You weren't sure how you felt about this whole 'friendship' anymore now that the murder problem had been resolved...
Maybe you'd just stick around untill one of the teachers officially announces that the case was solved.
You just wanted your old friends back, your old roomates...
But luck was never on your side.
Not a week after, it had been revealed, wich seemed good. You weren't mentioned, just like Dumbledore knew you wanted.
But oh boy. Someone else knew.
Lucius Malfoy.
The man himself came to visit Hogwarts and singled you and Draco out after dinner.
Exposing your heroic deeds and making Draco like you even more.
he assumed you cared about him to do all this. You just had the basic human decency to not let someone die.
Thats all there was to it.
Atleast on your side.
After Lucius' visit, Draco didn't let you leave him like you had planned.
And you were finally fed up.
Packing your stuff, you'd just move back to your dorm without asking.
"What do you think you're doing?" Draco stood in the doorway. Closing the door behind him as he walked in.
"Moving back. The murder is solved." You state calmly, trying not to provoke anything in the blonde.
"Y/N, you can't do that." He shakes his head and opens your wardrobe again to put your clothes back.
"I can. I've helped you, it's over now." You refuse and put the clothes back in your suitcase.
Draco's face twists into a frown as he comes closer.
"We're not over."
"That isn't what I said-"
"You're mine, Y/n."
Draco announces so directly you needed a moment for the shock to pass so that that cringe feeling could swarm over you.
"Excuse me?" You ask in offence.
"You're mine. In everyway a person could be mine." Draco elaborates, it isn't making his words any better."
"You're sounding absurd." You facepalm but your wrist gets snatched and pulled to his chest.
"You don't understand. I want you in every way there is to want. You're my soulmate. Platonically, Romantically- whatever ally there is. You're the first true friend I've had. You're mine." Draco grins slightly... pshycotically.
Sure mental problems are allowed but keep them to yourself, jeez.
"Did someone make you chug a love potion? Go sober up in the corner and then we'll talk." You keep your cool. Even if you're freaking out on the inside. He isn't acting normal. This has to be a potion of somekind.
Surely it is.
"My father has already agreed that I can court you, Y/N. Don't you see how good this could be for you.?" Draco smiles, trying to convince you of his ultimate love.
You cringe and try to back away, but the blonde just backs you up more into the wardrobe.
"Don't fight our bond." Draco whispers rather creepily.
You'd rather fight both the bond and him if you could choose.
But the moment that you did, or well, attempted to punch him, you were out like a light.
Just like that girl you caught, Draco had 'stupefied' you too.
Knocked out cold for him to gush over.
He just needed a friend that wouldn't leave him.
A friend that wasn't fake.
And you were perfect, seeing as you had no trouble insulting him.
So you were his.
You'd stay his.
You had chosen wrong.

Kinda lame ending, I know.

Their Daughter Part 6
Tenison was high in the dining room of Grimmuald Place as the Black brothers stared one another down. Regulus knew that part of Sirius's anger was because he thought he had lost his child to his brother, much like when they were young, and their parents favored Regulus over him. But this was Sirius's own fault; Ali had tried even after she had been hurt that Sirius went to Harry first. Sirius could not get over the fact that Ali was close with the Malfoys and had taken to projecting his anger to the only person who would love him more than anything if he tried.
Sirius wouldn't admit it out loud, but he was jealous of Regulus. He always had been, but coming back from the hell he had been trapped in to find that his own daughter had chosen his brother over him hurt more than any torture he had ever faced. Regulus had always been the perfect child who everyone adored. He had gotten fewer beatings as a child than Sirius, had gotten better grades in school, and now was considered a dad to Ali. It was only natural for Sirius to go back to what he did during his school years and focus his attention on the people who showed him attention. Harry was his godchild, but Harry also had no one else, meaning Sirius didn't have to worry about being replaced. Sirius also felt awful for the events that transpired the night of James and Lily's deaths and was trying to make up for it.
"If you just gave her a chance, you may find she is much more like you than you think." Regulus sat at the table again, watching his older brother run his hands through his hair. "She is so headstrong and stubborn that I know it revivals yours. And I cannot express enough how she just wants to be good enough for you to love, much like how you tried for years with Mother."
Sirius sighed in defeat, regrettting the painful things he had put his daughter through. "I do love her. I just…."
"Are shit at showing it. I saw the look in your eyes when Ali called me dad; I know that hurt you. But instead of talking about it, you just lash out at her or me or Remus, making it seem like you really don't care at all. I never tried to fill that role in her life. I was and will always be Uncle Reg, and that is fine. Do I see her as my child and love her like my own? Yes, absolutely. I will do anything for her, and if that fills that role as a father, I will. But I don't want to take that from you. You had so much stolen from you in your life, Sirius: your childhood, your parents, your best friend, 12 years of your life. The last thing I want to do is take more away, but I cannot and will not put you above her. She deserves so much in this world, and you should help her get it. We both should. But the question remains: will you put aside your 'every Slytherin is a Death Eater' mindset to do so? Because people have changed and we are close to the Malfoys, Notts, Parkinson's, and the Zabini's. They are not the same people anymore. Things have changed in the war; sides have changed. But you haven't. Ali is loyal to a fault and is a great judge of character; she won't betray the Order, nor will the others. Just give people a chance, Sirius."
"I did give people a chance, and it…..it got my best friend and his wife killed. We trusted Peter. I trusted Peter enough to have James make him the secret Keeper. It got them killed, and he was our friend. How am I supposed to trust that Lucius Malfoy has the Order's best interest at heart when my own friend of 9 years didn't?" Sirius started pacing before his brother. His head is cloudy in memories, tears blurring his eyes as his best friend's dead body flashed in front of him. "I know that I'm shit at showing Ali I love her, and part of it is because I'm scared to get close only to lose her again to someone like Lucius Malfoy. I owe it to James to look after Harry, but that doesn't mean I don't love him like my own because I do. But I love Ali just as much, and I know she has you, Remus, and even Snivillious to love her. And I want to try to improve things with her; I just don't know how. How do I fix what I've done, Regulus?"
Regulus caught the double meaning to his brother's question, "You can't. Sirius, you can't fix what happened to James and Lily. You can't fix how you've treated Ali so far."
Sirius felt his heart crack at his brother's words. He had hoped to get Ali back, but it seemed he had gone too far. He started for the stairs when Regulus continued.
"But that doesn't mean you can't fix it from now on. You can't change the past and bring James back, but you can make them proud by loving and protecting Ali and Harry. I mean, yeah, they don't get along now, but I think part of that is because he has seen and heard how you and James treated outsiders. I know they used to play together as babies, not that they would remember it, but Remus told me. Tell how close they were till everything happened, and bring them back together. Stop being afraid of losing Ali to someone when all everyone wants to do is love her and keep her safe. And maybe you don't trust Lucius or the others right now, but I trust them more than Dumbledore most of the time. And you should talk to Moody about the help Lucius has given the Order even if he refuses to say he has aligned himself with us." Regulus held his brother's shoulder, "Give them a chance. Don't let the other kids make remarks about Ali and her friends. Talk to her. I wouldn't start trying to act like her father, but maybe a friend? Or a really distant uncle. You'll figure it out, Sirius; you're smarter than you give yourself credit for."
Sirius followed his brother up the stairs, going to bed with hope, lighting a flame in his heart for the first time in years.
Days following the talk between Regulus and Sirius, Ali noticed that the golden trio had become slightly nicer to her. She does not make as many comments about her or her friends. She had no idea what was happening but wasn't going to complain. Regulus had come to her that morning telling her that he thought it a better idea if Blaise came to their house instead of her going over there. He believed it would show that the Slytherins were not as bad as all the others thought.
At first, Ali was hesitant about the idea. Still, after being reassured that Remus would be home as well as Regulus, Ali agreed. The thought of Blaise being at her house surrounded by her tormentors made her sick to her stomach. She wanted nothing more than to run away for a few days, but that ship had sailed, and it was only hours before Blaise arrived when Regulus called for 'those who live in this house meeting.' By the time Ali had gotten dressed and cleaned her room, everyone was already in the kitchen since it seemed to be the usual gathering place for the group. She straightened her sweater and did a quick glance down to make sure her outfit was still okay. It was slightly chilly in the house, so she had gone with a Bulgarian Quidditch sweater that was mainly red with black details and a pair of cropped black leggings with matching fuzzy socks. She and Blaise had already decided to stay for most of the day and then go and get dinner somewhere in Diagon Ally so she could change later. Remus and Regulus walked at the same time as Sirius and Harry.
"I'm assuming everyone is confused about why this meeting was called," Remus started. "There seems to be an assumption that Slyertians and those associated with them are all Death Eaters or traitors."
Scowls had overtaken most of the younger one's faces in the room, as well as Sirius's. Ali looked at her uncle, trying to figure out where this was going. She knew the reason was to inform everyone that Blaise would be here for a few days, but there was something else going on; she could feel it.
"After speaking with Dumbledore and getting his permission, not that I technically need the permission as it is my house, but nevertheless. A few individuals will be coming to stay here for the upcoming days, and there will be a couple of visitors as well." Regulus's eye caught Ali's, and gave her a wink just as the sound of footsteps entered the foyer. Ali was too short to see over everyone's heads to see who was there, but from the looks on a couple faces, including the elder Weasley, it was someone they were not fond of.
A flash of white hair caught Ali's eye as the group entered the kitchen. Her mouth dropped in shock as she took in her uncle Severus, leading the Malfoys, Blaise, and Theo towards Regulus and Remus. Cissa shot her a wink while Draco eyed Harry and Sirius up and down; Blaise kept his eyes locked on Ali, and Theo thoroughly enjoyed the shocked looks from the Weasleys.
"Sorry, we're late. Draco took too long in the mirror this morning," Severus said. Draco glared at his Godfather before continuing on with his glare at Potter.
"Well, allow me to introduce everyone. This is Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy, which I'm sure almost all of you know. This is Blaise, Theodore, and Draco. Narcissa and Lucius will be in and out for the next bit trying to get caught up on Order business while the latter three will be staying here for a bit." Remus shook Lucius's hand before joining Dora beside Ali, who was bouncing on her toes, overly excited at the fact that it was going to be back to normal in the next couple of days.
"You can't be serious. They are staying here?" Sirius exclaimed, running his hand down his face before glaring at Lucius. "I still remember what you did, Malfoy."
"I don't often agree with Sirius, but Dumbledore said this was alright?" Arthur asked. Ali knew that the Malfoys hadn't been the kindest to the Weasleys in the past, and she felt sorry for them in that aspect, but Lucius was not the same man as he was during her first year. And Narcissa wouldn't hurt a flea.
Remus stepped forward again, "He did. Narcissa and Lucius will be helping with some scooting missions that are coming up since they know that area of town better and are considering joining the Order. The three brats are mainly for Ali, though."
"Did you miss us short stack?" Theo opened his arms for Ali, who jumped straight into them. Theo gave her a twirl before pulling on her braid. She barely had time to catch her breath before Draco had her spinning again and tickling her sides, making her squeal.
"Of course I missed you! What kind of question is that?!" Ali giggled before hugging Blaise despite her uncle Remus glaring at them. Blaise took her hand and gave it a squeeze when they parted before facing the other children in the room. Theo and Draco took the opposite sides of Ali, showing a united front against the ones who had been horrible towards her.
Ali was ecstatic that they were going to be in the house more. Maybe her summer wouldn't end so badly. Sirius was shocked that Dumbledore had cleared this and even more shocked that Lucius would help the Order. He did not trust him and would go on those missions even if he had to go as Padfoot. This was outrageous and downright stupid, allowing death eaters to snoop freely in the Order business. Looking at his daughter, he could see how happy she was to be surrounded by her friends, but he also knew that he would have to keep a closer eye on her than he already was. He had asked the trio to play nice so he had more people watching her. He did trust that she was a Death Eater, and now he was surrounded by them.
"Al, Kreatcher sat up extra beds in your room for the boys. Pansy should be joining later, but she had something come up with her grandfather. Her mother said she would owl when she was on her way." Regulus leveled each of the boys with a look. "You lot know the rules. I don't care if you have fun but clean up after yourselves, and don't be too loud when it gets late. Curfew is at 10pm and no later. If you are leaving the house, go in pairs at least and let one of the adults you know be aware of where you're going. You lot know the food is fair game, and Kretcher has already been instructed to grocery shop more often. The house is also fair game, but be respectful, please."
"Don't worry, Uncle Reg. I'll keep them in line," Draco smirked at the other three before Severus whacked him upside the head.
Ali turned and looked at the younger swarm of redheads and others in the room. She cleared her throat to get the attention on her, which made her take an unconscious step back toward Blaise and Draco. "Everyone, this is Theo, Blaise and Draco. I'm sure most of you know this, but just in case. You are welcome to join our fun, but we get if you don't want to." Ali pulled the boys out of the room after greeting her aunt and uncle. They sat on the living room floor with wizards, chess, and a few other games while a movie played in the background. Kreacher brought out snack trays for them, and the laughter was music to Regulus's ears after all the quiet he'd heard from Ali this summer.
Ali could feel the stares from those around them, most directed at Draco and her. She could see the disbelief every time Draco laughed or made a joke. This was the side of Draco that was rarely seen by others. An hour had passed before a chess match went on between Draco and Ali. Blaise sat to one side of Ali, and Theo was in the middle of her and Draco, watching the death match continue.
"What dare shall I have you do this time, Als" Draco taunted her while he moved his piece. It was an ongoing rule that when she and Draco played wizarding chess, the loser had to do a dare of the winner's choice. It was always a toss-up in who won, as both were incredibly good at the game.
"Don't think too hard; I wouldn't want to overwork that one brain cell of yours." Ali stuck her tongue out at Draco when she stole his knight.
Draco was about to reply when a shadow came over the top of the board. Looking up, there was the eldest two Weasley children and Fleur. Ali could see the hearts in Theo's eyes before she kicked him in the shin. "She's engaged, you idiot."
Bill and Charlie chuckled, "We saw you guys playing games and were curious if we could join you? I have my board and thought we could do a little tournament."
Charlie held up his chess board. The teens all nodded, and with a snap of his fingers, Charlie's board was all set up. Bill took one side of the board before looking at Theo. "You up for a challenge?"
Theo crawled to the opposite side of the small table. Bill made the first move, and the game commenced. Charlie and Fleur took seats around the rest of them and started trash-talking with them, too. Charlie was on Ali's side, whereas Fleur took Dracos. Regulus, Molly, and Narcissa looked around the corner and had smiles spread across their faces at the sight they saw. It wasn't the younger kids trying to get along with the others, but the eldest and Molly knew that her children all looked up to their brothers, so maybe there was hope in this crazy plan after all.

I Miss When We First Met: Chapter 18
YN Potter falls in love with Draco Malfoy. Along with that, her relationship with her brother, Harry begins to fall apart as she was sorted into Slytherin. Will Harry find out about the relationship between his enemy and his sister?
IMWWFM: Masterlist
Usually Harry, Neville, and Ginny were the only ones to send you letters. Which is why you were surprised when you received a letter in an unfamiliar envelope.
When you open the envelope you were shocked to see who it was from.
(Dear YN, I've come to realize that I'm in love with you. I've liked you since the day we met on the Hogwarts Express. I'm sorry that I couldn't be part of your life sooner. I've been keeping something from you. My father isn't a good person. He always has a watchful eye on me and I can't risk him finding out about you. He already hates you and your brother. He can't find out about my feelings for you. I wish our families got along. I wish I wasn't a Malfoy. But that's not possible. It's painful to hide these feelings from everyone. I'm thankful at least you can know now. Please meet me at the one-eyed witch secret passage way which leads to Hogsmeade on Friday after classes. Don't worry about food, Dinner is on me. We can talk about this all there, where no one can see us. Love, Draco.)
You knew you had to go. You've had a crush on him since first year. It was possible that it could have been a prank, but to you it was worth the risk.
You made sure to tell Neville and Ginny that you would be busy Friday. After classes you make your way over to the one-eyed whitch statue.
You enter the passageway and wait for Draco. "Hey, YN. I'm over here" You hear Draco say from behind you.
"Oh. Hey, Draco" You respond, nervously. "Now that we're alone, I need to talk to you about something really important." He states in a tone that makes you feel concerned.
"What's wrong, Draco?" You question him.
"The darklord is back, and my parents are death eaters, working for him." He states timidly.
You almost gasp as you hear those words leave his mouth. "Wait, what? He-who-must-not-be-named is back? How?"
"I don't know, my parents hold death eater meetings, and the darklord has been there talking with my parents." He states, looking into your eyes.
"What the hell, Draco, what does this have to do with me?" You question furiously.
"He wants to kill Harry... and also you." He says, breaking eye contact with you to put his head down in shame.
You look at him, a shocked expression on your face that then turns into a confused one. "Why would he want to kill me?"
Draco lifts his head back up before answering; "Uhh... because your James Potter's daughter?"
You look at him, almost laughing at his confused expression. "I'm adopted, Draco."
He looks at you, baffled, jaw slightly open in shock. "You're what?"
"I am adopted Draco. I am not related to Harry, I don't know who my real parents are. I was adopted by James and Lilly Potter when I was really young." You state
"Oh... well, I don't know why the darklord would want to kill you then..."
"It's alright, he probably doesn't know that I'm not actually related to Harry. You're the only person besides me and Harry to know that I'm adopted." You mumble as the two of you continue to walk to honeydukes.
You and Draco arrive at honeydukes and start to head upstairs so you can make your way to the three broomsticks.
You and Draco go to a quiet table towards the back so you are able to continue the conversation you guys were having earlier.
"So about the letter you wrote me... did you really mean what you said?" You question hopefully.
He avoids eye contact with you, looking all around the restaurant, completely avoiding your gaze. "Yes, YN, I really did mean what I said, I like you."
You feel your face heat up at his words. "Well, I like you too, Draco."
The two of you continued to eat your dinner, a comfortable silence taking over with the occasional chatter of the other people around you.
As the sun starts to set, both of you decide that it's time to head back to Hogwarts.
As you walk through the tunnel, you feel Draco's hand in yours.
You fave heating up as your hands interlock, walking through the tunnel in silence.
As you finally exit the tunnel dracos' hand, let's go of yours. You were about to question why, but he began to speak.
"We have to keep us a secret. If my parents find out I like someone related to Potter, they'll freak out." He states sadly, looking at you
"It's ok, I understand, I'll see you tomorrow, Draco." You say smiling softly at him before heading inside the castle, heading towards the Slytherin common room and into your room.

--------------------
I was trapped in an absolute balancing act. No matter how far my gaze went I could not see any way out. It was like standing between two canyons. One wrong step and I would crash into the depth I could not even see the bottom of.
When I had been little I had always dreamt of becoming a strong witch like my mom. As the years passed on and I had joined Hogwarts I became one of the most students at the whole school, fitting the theme of my house: Slytherin.
I loved my family more than anything. Joining Slytherin had been part of my family pride as pretty much everyone of our family had been there. So I was happy about it.
I never questioned it all until my sixth year arrived and the dark lord came into the picture.
My parents revealed their dark marks to me, explained how it was our duty to serve the lord. That this was what I had studied and trained for my whole life.
So I nodded and went along with it.
It was too late when I realized what I had gotten myself into. I never wanted to be someone who brought harm and suffering. I had just wanted to make my parents proud, to become strong to be able to protect the people I loved.
But now I had morphed into a person I did not recognize anymore. One false move could kill me and my family altogether. How was I supposed to get out of this?
“Are you really becoming a death eater?”, I asked Draco one night.
Draco had been my friend my whole life. He was basically part of the family. So it was not unusual for us to hang out late at night together while our classmates were already asleep.
I was a perfectionist. Sleep was not my strongest quality.
“Why are you asking?”, he shot back.
This was a dangerous topic. If I misjudged Draco and he was loyal to the dark lord I might put my whole family at risk. Nevertheless I wanted to trust him.
“I can't do this, Dray. This isn't me”, I confessed.
“Me neither”, he admitted.
“So what are we gonna do?”, I inquired.
“How should I know?”, he shot back. “You're the smart one.”
“That doesn't mean I have an answer for everything”, I noted. “We need to come up with a plan.”
“There is no plan that can work out”, he proclaimed.
“There has to be. Every problem has its solution”, I stated.
“Not this one”, Draco insisted.
“Can you at least try to be more positive?”, I requested.
“How?”, he exclaimed. “There's no way out! We have to go with it if we care about our lives and the ones of our family. Do you seriously think I haven't thought this through? I haven't been thinking about anything else lately. I'm not sleeping. I can barely eat. So don't have the audacity to tell me to be more positive!”
I was speechless at his rant.
Draco could be impulsive, but he had never yelled at me like this before. He was just as exhausted as I was.
“I'm sorry”, I mumbled. “I just don't know what to do.”
“Me neither”, he admitted.
“I guess we don't really have a choice then”, I concluded. “But I won't just stand by and be his puppet.”
“What are you implying?”, Draco worried. “You're not seriously considering what I think you do, right?”
“No, I'm not considering. I just decided it. I want to secretly work for the other side. I can't do all those horrible things in vain. The least I can do is try make up for it the best I can”, I supposed.
“You know that may be even more dangerous than defying him and running away, don't you?”, Draco assured.
“I don't care. If I ran away my family wouldn't accompany me. It's the only way. You won't betray me, will you?”
“We never had this conversation”, he promised.
I flashed him a short smile and playfully punched his shoulder. “You know I want to protect you, too, right?”
“Likewise”, he shot back with a grin. “So look out for yourself. I don't want to get the order to torture or kill you someday.”
“I'll do my best”, I proposed. “No promises though.”
“How could I expect anything else from you? Honestly I always envied your strong beliefs. I'm still wondering how you survived that long”, he noted.
“I'm a fighter. You know that”, I reminded him.
“Oh, right! How could I have forgotten”, he declared dramatically making me laugh.
Without him I would have gotten insane by now.
I knew that no matter what happened I would always have a secret ally, giving me hope even in the darkest times.

Why must you hurt me? T-T
this is beautiful.
It’s like a full-blown addiction, but instead of drugs or booze, it’s this fictional guy who’s got her wrapped around his finger. She knows it’s fucked up—knows she’s out here daydreaming about someone who’s not even real—but who cares? This guy? He’s everything. He’s charming in the worst ways, flawed in every possible sense, but there’s just something about him that has her hooked. He doesn’t even know she exists, but she’s ready to fight anyone who says a word against him. Seriously, she’ll defend his honor like it’s a fucking life-or-death mission.
He’s a goddamn trainwreck, but he’s her trainwreck. She’ll put up with all his baggage, his emotional scars, his dark sides, because somehow, that brokenness makes him feel more real to her than any real guy could. He’s messed up, but she’ll fix him in her head every single time. Maybe it’s that thrill of knowing he’s dangerous and untouchable that makes him even more irresistible. He might break her heart in a hundred ways, but it’s the kind of heartbreak that makes her feel alive, even if it hurts like hell.
And it’s never gonna happen, right? She knows that. He’s not gonna waltz into her life and sweep her off her feet. But it doesn’t matter. Because she gets to have him on her terms—no messy reality, no awkward first dates, no risking her heart for real. He’s always there when she needs him, in that perfect little bubble of fantasy she’s built for herself. And maybe she’s a little crazy for it, but at least with him, she’s never disappointed. Every time she replays his scenes, reads the fanfics, imagines their future together—it's like a high she can never quite shake. She knows it's all just a mindfuck, but she’s never felt more alive.

OLD HABITS

slytherin boys x gn!teacher reader (platonic)
↳ 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡 : 2k
𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑦 : you graduated three years ago, but the slytherin boys still talk about you like a myth. now you’re back… as their professor.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
you were a legend.
not in the grand, historical sense. not the type to be etched into portraits or remembered in dusty school records. no, yours was a different kind of legend. one passed around in whispers in the common room. in smoke trails drifting out from the edge of the astronomy tower. in escape routes down secret staircases no one else dared to use.
so when word spread through the great hall that you were back : alive, employed, and walking the halls as the new magical beasts professor, it caused the kind of silence that could only mean something big was coming.
theo was the first to break it.
“you’re joking.”
“nope,” said blaise, who had overheard one of the hufflepuff girls talking about how hot the new professor was. “apparently they walked in with a hippogriff and didn’t flinch when it tried to snap.”
mattheo leaned forward. “didn’t they teach us how to charm open the back entrance to the owlery?”
“no, that was fourth year,” muttered draco. “third year was the time they found that wine cellar under greenhouse three.”
“that was good wine,” said lorenzo, almost reverently. “and they shared it. with us.”
pansy raised a brow, amused. “I thought they’d disappeared into some forest job in eastern europe.”
“they did,” theo said. “came back with a scar and a lot more patience.”
“and now they’re teaching,” mattheo added, mostly to himself.
draco just smirked and folded his arms. “they better not act all serious and authoritative towards us.”
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
you walked into your first class five minutes early, boots muddy, sleeves rolled up, a little bit of wind in your hair. the creatures for today’s lesson : bowtruckles, nothing dramatic, were already perched on your arm like old friends.
and very familiar faces were waiting for you.
some taller. some sharper around the edges. but still the same underneath.
you took them in : mattheo lounging at the back with that practiced look of boredom, theo twirling his quill lazily, draco sitting like he ran the school, blaise leaning back in his chair with that half-smile, and pansy pretending she wasn’t waiting for you to acknowledge her first.
your mouth twitched. “well. Look what the castle dragged in.”
mattheo’s eyes lit up instantly. “I knew it.”
you raised a brow, setting the bowtruckles gently on the desk. “did you miss me, riddle?”
he shrugged with zero shame. “you’re basically the reason we survived until fourth year.”
“I was more of a cautionary tale than anything.”
“you were our hero,” theo said bluntly.
“I taught you how to siphon firewhiskey out of Slughorn’s reserves once.”
“yup. that’s what i call a heroic act.”
you rolled your eyes, but your smile gave you away. “right, sit up. eyes front. you’re not fourteen anymore.”
draco lifted a brow. “youu’re not that much older than us.”
“three years is a lifetime when you’re a teenage boy,” you said dryly.
they laughed, and for a second it felt like no time had passed at all.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
the class was easy. you always had a knack for creatures and a talent for explaining things without sounding like a textbook. the bowtruckles behaved. the students (your old group especially) hung on your every word like they were waiting for you to pull a trick from your sleeve.
you didn’t. not yet at least.
but after class, when the rest of the students filtered out and the sky began to soften into gold, mattheo lingered.
he leaned against the side of your desk, arms folded, posture lazy but eyes bright.
“so,” he said. “you’re a professor now.”
“apparently.”
“didn’t see that coming. honestly? I figured you’d get arrested for breaking into the ministry. or disappear into a dragon preserve and send us mysterious postcards.”
“I almost did.”
mattheo laughed, low and real. you hadn’t realized how much you’d missed that sound.
you gave him a look, then jerked your head toward the door. “still use the second-floor corridor to sneak out after curfew?”
“of course,” he said. “your map still works.”
you blinked. “you still have my map?”
he looked smug. “theo kept it. said it was the closest thing we had to a holy text.
you shook your head, but warmth spread through your chest like firewhiskey. you hadn’t come back expecting much. maybe respect, maybe curiosity. but not this. this instant, easy pull back into the space you'd carved out years ago.
you were still part of them. in a way.
mattheo kicked at the floor with the toe of his boot, then said, more quietly, “it’s kind of weird, seeing you here. like… full circle or something.”
you nodded. “feels weird. but not bad.”
he glanced up at you again, and for just a second, he looked younger. not the too-cool seventh year with a devil-may-care grin, but the fourteen-year-old you once caught crying on the roof after a letter from home. the one you handed a cigarette to without asking questions, just sat next to until the shaking stopped.
and he remembered that. you could tell.
“I’m glad you’re back,” he said, softer now.
you just reached into your pocket, pulled out a lighter. the same beat-up one they all used to sneak from your satchel, and held it up between two fingers. mattheo’s face split into a grin. “you brought it.”
“old habits.”
he chuckled and took it, turning it over once in his hands before slipping it into his coat.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
that night, you found yourself walking the familiar path to the astronomy tower. out of curiosity, maybe. or memory.
and you weren't surprised to find them there : your slytherin crew, sprawled out under the stars like they used to be. someone had brought snacks. someone else had smuggled up firewhiskey. theo had dragged a blanket out, and Pansy had already claimed half of it.
“well,” blaise said, lifting his drink, “look who still knows the way.” mattheo just smiled and patted the space beside him.
you sat, and it was like nothing had changed, except everything had. you were older now. a professor. a mentor. anauthority figure.
but to them, you’d always be more than that.
you were the one who taught them how to live a little. to bend the rules without breaking. to find their own way. and now you were back. maybe that’s what real influence was : leaving a mark so deep, even time couldn’t wash it out.
as the night stretched on and the stars spun lazily above the castle, someone passed you a flask. you didn’t ask where it came from. just took a sip, and passed it back, and let the quiet laughter of your old shadows fill the air.
“I should be giving all of you detention, you know that ?”

Hello again my dear fanfiction readers, daylight dreamers and late night scrollers. I'm sorry it's been so long since a check in, life has been a bit rough for your friend lately.
So this is a check-in , just a safe place to land between scrolling. Pause with me for a moment, will you? Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth, and drop your shoulders for me too. There now that's more relaxed. Have you drank water today? Eaten even a little something? It's okay if you haven't, tomorrow is a new day.
Tell me about what you're scrolling through, is it fan art? AU's? What's your favorite trope? I think mines found family, something about knowing that there's people out there who love you not because they have to, but because they want to, really appeals to me. Who's your comfort character? What character makes you want to scream? Tell me about your favorite Fandom. I'm here to listen, no judgement, just a friend if you need one.
I'm so proud of you for making it through today and I'm proud of you for making it through every day from here till the end of time. Your comfort character would be so proud of you as well, there's a million universes out there, right? So safe to say in at least one of them, you're their absolute favorite character. One they adore and talk about all the time. Try and remember that yeah? You love them, flaws and all, is it so hard to believe that you're loved just as much? Because I promise you are.
I'll let you get back to scrolling now but before you go please remember, you are loved, you are important and you matter. Happy scrolling dear one.
Your comfort character believes in you and so do I, the weird girl scrolling right along with you looking for a safe place to land
❤️💛True💛❤️

Serendipity Masterlist!

series status: under construction – here's the link to the remastered series!!!
summary: it was only meant to be a purely transactional relationship. he would help her strengthen her abilities in return for her getting his friends out of his father's nasty path. he didn't mean to fall for her, but loving her was the easiest thing in his dark world.
“serendipity is the phenomenon of discovering something interesting or valuable by chance”
pairings: mattheo riddle x fem!ravenclaw reader; platonic!slytherins x fem!reader; platonic!golden trio x fem!reader
no use of Y/N, but your general nickname is Meadow. All characters are aged up to be over 18. and Bellatrix isn't Mattheo's mother in this fic (just fyi)
general warning(s): 18+ content, angst, fluff, some canon compliance, some canon divergence, typical wizarding world violence, war, torture, drugging, hospitals, familial problems, mean!harry, mean!ron....
** indicates smut warning

chapter summary: you're given plenty of revelations: all equally as daunting as the other.
~∞~ chapter nine
chapter summary: Ginny ambushes you in the library and Ron's birthday is off to a delirious start.
~∞~ chapter ten
chapter summary: in the aftermath of Ron's poisoning, Harry learns a thing or two about where your loyalties lie when he overhears your private conversation with the headmaster.
~∞~ chapter eleven
chapter summary: intent on avoiding him, you underestimate just how desperate Mattheo is to be around you.
~∞~ chapter twelve

~∞~ chapter thirteen **
chapter summary: idk how to summarise this but i will say it's pure smut...enjoy
