Two sides of the same coin
Summary: Y/n receives a strange letter to only open it later in her room, and she eavesdrop onto a conversation she says it to the Golden trio only to think she was lying.
Words: 1.5k words.
Chapter 2
School had gotten you all sorts of tired, mentally and physically but it was nothing if it would help you be a good witch for the future sake.
You had a big interest in potions, it was like medicine but it would have bigger effects than ‘muggle medicine’ there would be cures to sicknesses we wouldn’t know about and it would just be under our noses.
Like normal subjects it was difficult understanding, Transfiguration also had peaked your interest, turning objects into different things.
Homework had piled up on you but it was nothing compared to the incoming Quidditch match, Your house; Slytherin against Gryffindor.
Also word spread of Harry Potter becoming the youngest seeker of the century would be playing, you weren’t all big with sports before but this would definitely be much more exciting because Quidditch was like soccer but the players had to be riding their flying broomsticks.
Without goes saying, someone had got to have fallen off their broom when they played Quidditch not only on their first time, so…I guess no Quidditch for me then… You thought to yourself.
Remembering that time when your leg had to be casted for 2 months made you shiver.
But since you wanted to see it and not miss your first time watching a Quidditch match you decided to join the whole school that was watching.
It would definitely be a good subject topic when you write your weekly letter to your family, your brothers would definitely want to hear about this one.
There you were, sitting next to Draco and his goons in the Slytherin stands, you uncomfortably shifted in your seat not fully trusting much people in your house, yeah our house was supposed to be our family…but you haven’t gotten close with anyone yet.
You don’t remember most of your housemates’ names!
You watched as students were going back and forth chasing balls? What did they call it?
You wanted to ask but who were you going to even ask? They might think you were dumb.. No! You are going to ask what the players were holding.
Looking to your left you see a boy a year above you and asked what they were holding, He looked at you and explained to you the game.
“Five balls are in play during Quidditch matches: The Quaffle, which is a volleyball; three Bludgers, or dodgeballs; and the Snitch, a tennis ball. The Quaffle is used to score points, while the Bludgers are used to "knock out" other players temporarily. The Snitch is the ball that must be caught to end the game.” “How many points does the snitch have though?” He looks back at the game saying “150 points..” you hummed.
You watched the players, and in the corner of your eye Harry Potter had spotted the snitch and went after it, scratching your neck you watched him, chasing the snitch.
They’ve got to have such a strong grip on the brooms in order to not fall while the brooms speed up in the air.. you muttered.
“ You’ve got to be kidding me, this your first time watching a quidditch match?” Someone beside asked.
It was Draco looking at you in disbelief, “Yeah..” you muttered scratching you neck.
You scratched your neck when you felt nervous or uncomfortable, or something like that.
‘Hm’ he went back to watching the quidditch match and so did you, Watching Harry sore through the sky with such speed on his new broom, which was the Nimbus 2000.
Lucky.
Then Harry went head to head with a Slytherin, bumping each other trying to bump each others off their broom, but when Harry was going to catch the snitch his broom went crazy shaking him off.
You stood up a bit worried for his own safety in fear of him falling off his broom shouting “Careful!”
The Slytherins confused stared at you, but just went back to looking at the game after seeing Harry struggle the broom stopped and Harry was able to get back on his broom and managed to catch the snitch, the crowd cheering for Gryffindor’s victory and you giving a relieved sigh and clapping.
Sure the sport itself was risky, but where is exactly the fun in that? Maybe you would probably sign up to play for Slytherin.
On the ground people went to congratulate Gryffindor for their victory, getting your scarf you went down to congratulate them aswell, you got weird stares but brushed them off, You went to the team and smile at them.
“That Quidditch match was cool! It was a good game!”
Shock written on their face “Congartulations!” Harry smiled at you and thanked you.
You turned around and skipped merrily going back to the Slytherin common room, to find your house mates disappointed they had lost to Gryffindor, hoping it would cheer them up;”Don’t worry we’ll beat them next time” Some Slytherins smiled at you.
You just went upstairs to go to your room which you shared with other Slytherin girls, changing to your sleep ware and went to slumber.
*-*
It was the next day and you were in the Great Hall eating breakfast then the daily mail came, owls sweeping in to drop mail on tables.
You just continued to eat when an envelope was dropped onto your plate, you were confused and surprised not only does your family only deliver stuff on Monday.
But the mail didn’t say anything about who it could’ve come from, weirded out you just put the letter away to read it later when you got the time, after eating breakfast you went to roam around Hogwarts now that you got used to the surroundings, you hardly get lost now since you were used to the place.
As you first thought when you came to Hogwarts you always thought the Castle was Beautiful and magnificent, it never had ceased to amaze you at all.
When you were going to turn a corner you heard talking around the corner, sneakily you eavesdropped and listened onto the conversation.
“Are you sure?”
Professor Mcgonagall?
“Yes I am Positive”
That’s Professor Dumbledore.
“Harry Potter has a younger twin sister, unfortunately, we don’t know who she is, what we assume she might be dead” Dumbledore said.
You turned around and clasped a hand over your mouth. Harry Potter has a sister.
You had to tell him, maybe she was alive and she’s out there.
His other half and family.
As she ran down the hallways in hopes to find the boy, she forgot that she was supposed to be at class, discarding her mission for a while she went to run at the direction of her class.
Glad for her she made it and sat down at her seat when the Professor had just entered soon later after she did.
*-*
The Professor dismissed the class and went to talk to Harry, you walked over to him and called to him, he and his friends turned around.
Confused you just toom them somewhere else to talk without having any unwanted listeners chiming in.
“So your saying you heard Professor Mcgonagall and Professor Dumbledore talking about Harry having a twin sister and they’re unsure if she’s dead or alive?” Hermione said reapeating what you had said.
“Yes” you simply said.
“And what makes you think we’ll believe you?” Ron said.
Your smile dropping being replaced with a confused look.
“What do you mean?” Tilting your head in confusion.
“What makes you think that we’ll believe what your saying us true..” “I don’t get it” You said still confused.
“Is this something Malfoy convinced you to do?” “What?! Ofcourse not!”
‘Mhmm’ is what they said. “Seriously I don’t get why you don’t trust me on this..”
‘fine’ is what you muttered before walking away to go to your next class.
“Did you think she was lying?” Harry said walking into the Gryffindor common room.
“It sounded like it” Ron said “But we’re not sure if it was staged or not”
“Yeah..”
“Right”
I don’t care what they think I want to believe that I have a twin sister out there
All of your classes were over and you were walking up to the girls room to read your letter.
You sat down on your bed and pulled your feet up ripping open the envelope to see a letter and necklace.
On the paper said;
Dear Y/n.
This may come off as weird but as you grow older you’ll understand and soon find out to truly know who you were supposed to set off to be.
So please don’t worry, we will watch over you and protect you.
Yours Truly,
Xavier.
Xavier..
Who’s Xavier?
You looked inside the envelope to see a golden necklace on a golden chain, it was a locket, etched on the front of the locket was the letter P..
You opened it and saw two adults on it, a woman with red hair and a man with brown hair and glasses.
You assumed it was your biological parents, so that would mean it lead you to this conclusion.
Your parents were dead.

That’s it for this latest chapter.
I hope you guys liked it, the discovery for Harry’s long lost sister would be much more earlier than I would think or is it?

What You’ll Sorely Miss
MASTERLIST
A/N: I hope you guys enjoy this story. I was re-reading Goblet of Fire like a week ago when I got the idea for this story. This is one of the first Harry Potter Fanfics I’ve written so I’m pretty nervous to post it. I really hope you all enjoy it! Love you guys! Xoxo
Summary: When Harry’s sister disappears the night before the second Triwizard task, Harry’s not the only one who’s worried about her.
Warnings: Swearing, AU where Harry has a twin sister (Y/n), AU where Sirius never went to Azkaban and raised Harry and his sister, Fluff, Worried!Harry, Worried!Draco, Happy ending, Harry accepts their relationship (pretty quick), Nice!Draco, Sweet!Draco
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Harry, what exactly did the egg say again?” You ask your twin, after putting away what must have been the tenth book you had read so far that night. You, Ron and Hermione, were attempting to help Harry figure out how to stay underwater for an hour for the second task of the Triwizard Tournament.
You were gonna have to find a way to tell Draco there was no way you could meet up with him tonight. While Draco and Harry may not have gotten along well you and Draco were an entirely different story. Of course with you being a Gryffindor and not to mention being Harry Potter’s sister and Draco being a Slytherin, the two of you had kept your relationship a secret for the past year.
Harry repeated the egg’s song for what must have been the 20th time that night. You were still just as stumped about what to do as you were the first time.
“Maybe we could ask Sirius?” You suggest half-heartedly, knowing your brother would refuse. Sirius was both your and Harry’s godfather and had raised the two of you after your parents’ murder. Harry and you were both extremely close to him. Harry, however, was constantly worried about disappointing him. And considering how quickly he had shot you down earlier about asking for Sirius’s help, you doubted he would agree to it now.
“Y/n, I can’t. I swore to him that I had figured it out weeks ago. He’ll kill me.” Harry sighs, dropping his head onto the book he was currently reading.
“Hard at work, eh?” You heard a familiar voice chuckled, looking up you saw George Weasley smirking down at you. Accompanied of course by his twin, Fred.
“As a matter of fact yes. So if that’s all then-” Hermione starts before Fred cuts her off.
“Actually, we came to get you and Y/n,” Fred says with a wink.
“Why?” You ask, raising an eyebrow at them. The last time the Weasley twins needed you it was to test out their nosebleed candies. Needless to say, you weren’t too keen on helping them anymore.
“McGonagall wants to see you and ‘Mione in her office,” George responds cheekily.
“Alright. Let’s go Y/n. Don’t worry we’ll be back in a bit to help you guys. But keep looking in the meantime.” Hermione says seeing the look of fear on Harry and Ron’s faces. Those two were practically hopeless without you and Hermione. Hermione loops her arm with yours and the two of you follow Fred and George to McGonagall’s office.
You knock on McGonagall’s door once the two of you reach her office.
“Come in.” You hear her reply. You open the door and enter to find not only Professor McGonagall but Professor Dumbledor, Ludo Bagman, Cho Chang, and a small blonde-haired girl.
“Miss Granger, Miss Potter, please take a seat.” Professor Dumbledore says gesturing to two chairs next to Cho.
“You needed to see us, Professor?” Hermione asks McGonagall looking around nervously.
“As I’m sure you all know the second task is tomorrow. Each of the champions will have something taken from them that they must retrieve. You are those things. Gabrielle, Miss Delacour’s little sister, Miss Chang for Mr. Diggory, Miss Granger for Mr. Krum and of course Miss Potter for Mr. Potter.” McGonagall explains gesturing to each of you.
“We ask that each of you take this potion. It will put you to sleep and as soon as you are above the water you will wake.” Dumbledore explains handing each of you a small vial of bluish liquid.
“What if they don’t reach us in time?” You ask nervously.
“My dear do you think I would ever allow anything to happen to students. You will all be fine even if your champion doesn’t reach you in time.” Dumbledore promises, looking at you with a twinkle in his eyes. You nod before locking eyes with Hermione and the two of you take the potion at the same time. God, I really hope Harry figures something out. You think to yourself before falling asleep.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Draco’s POV
I’ve been looking around for Y/n all morning. Where the hell is she? She never showed up last night which hadn’t surprised me considering that the second task was today. But I didn’t see her at breakfast and she’s not with Saint Potter, so where the fuck is she? I couldn’t very well go asking about her whereabouts seeing as we had agreed to keep our relationship a secret. But now I’m really starting to regret it.
“Draky poo are you alright?” Pansy asks me with a look of concern on her face.
“I’m fine Parkinson. Get off.” I hiss as she tries to fix my hair. Only Y/n gets to do that.
“What’s wrong baby?” Pansy asks in her sickly sweet voice.
“Nothing and I’m not your baby! Just stay the hell away from me!” I say storming away from her. Crabbe and Goyle follow me looking very confused. They knew I hated Pansy and how she was always hanging around me. But normally I was very patient with her. Little did they know a big reason why was that seeing Pansy around me got Y/n all riled up. Y/n is so adorable when she’s jealous.
“Malfoy, are you ok?” Goyle asks.
“Fine. Let’s go watch the stupid task.” I growl as I climb in the boat. Hopefully, I’ll see Y/n out on the lake. I need to see Y/n. That’s all I could think about.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Harry’s POV
“Where are they?” I ask Ron as we make our way down to the boats. Luckily we ran into Neville last night and he told me about Gillyweed. He gave it to me this morning at breakfast. So thankfully that part of the task was handled.
But we hadn’t seen Y/n or Hermione since they left the library for McGonagall’s office. And I was worried, Y/n would never miss this. She had never missed a Quidditch match, even when she was sick and miserable she came to cheer me on.
“I don’t know. It’s not like them to disappear. Maybe it’s a girl thing or something. I’m sure they’ll be out there waiting to watch.” Ron says patting my shoulder trying to reassure me. It doesn’t work.
Once we are all lined up about to dive into the lake I take one final look around and still don’t see them. The next thing I know Moody pushes me into the lake and I force myself to focus on the task.
Swimming towards the center of the lake I finally figured out where Y/n and Hermione were. Of course, I think to myself, “We’ve taken what you’ll sorely miss”, Y/n.
After Cedric and Krum came I tried to wait to make sure Fleur got her sister. But after a while of waiting, I figured she wasn’t coming and I decided I would save both Y/n and Gabrielle. The merpeople were not happy about this but I won. Once we reach the surface they both wake up and gasp for air.
“Oh, Harry! I’m so sorry for not helping more!” Y/n exclaims wrapping her arms around me while we are still in the water.
“It’s ok Y/n/n. Can we get out of the water though I’m freezing?” I ask, making her laugh at me. We swim back towards the docks and all of a sudden there’s a splash and someone swimming towards us. Malfoy?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your POV
“Draco, what the hell are you doing?” I ask as he swims towards Harry and me.
“Y/n, oh thank god!” He exclaims wrapping his arms around me and pulling me back to the dock. Harry’s in shock and just treading water looking at us with his jaw open.
“Harry!” Hermione shouts, shaking him out of his stupor. His look of shock turns to rage and he swims as fast as he can to the dock.
Draco reaches the dock and pulls me out with him before grabbing as many towels as possible and wrapping them around me.
“Are you alright love?” He asks cupping your face with his hand.
“Yes, Draco, I’m fine. But you might not be for much longer.” You giggle watching Harry storm over to the two of you, Ron and Hermione following him.
“Get your slimy hands off my sister Malfoy!” Harry shouts shoving Draco away from you.
“Harry it’s ok-” You try to say before he cuts you off.
“No, it’s not Y/n/n. What the bloody hell do you think you are doing Malfoy?!” Harry shouts.
“Potter calm down. Y/n/n and I have been seeing each other for the past year-” Draco tries to explain but Harry’s look of rage makes him stop.
“WHAT? You’ve been seeing that git for a year?! Did he put some fucking enchantment on you?” Harry yells making people turn and look, including all the teachers and the Headmaster.
“Harry, calm down. We’ll talk about this later. Let’s hear the scores.” Hermione whispers to him and forces him to turn towards the judges.
“This isn’t over Malfoy,” Harry growled before he walked away.
“Are you sure you’re alright?” Draco asks you after Harry, Ron, and Hermione leave.
“I’m fine Draco. I’m just worried about Harry. He hates me now.” You feel tears well in your eyes. Harry was your best friend and your brother all wrapped in one and you can’t stand the idea of him hating you.
“He doesn’t hate you.”
“How do you know?” You ask, turning away to hide the tears that were now streaming down your face from Draco.
“Hey, don’t cry Pretty Girl. He loves you more than he hates me. Besides just think about it, the task was that the person they would miss most would be taken from them. Harry’s person was you. He loves you,” Draco says wrapping his arms around you and placing a soft kiss on your temple. “And so do I.” He whispers the last part so quietly you weren’t sure you heard him right.
“What?” You ask breathlessly, as you turn in his arms to face him.
“I love you Y/n Potter,” Draco whispers, nervously.
“I love you too Draco!” You exclaim pressing a hard kiss to his lips.
“Y/n, Draco,” you hear your brother murmur. Draco and you break apart and you look down at your feet to scared to look at Harry.
“Y/n/n, look at me,” Harry pleads, the desperation in Harry’s voice making you look up.
“Y/n, I’m sorry about how I reacted before. Does he treat you right?” Harry inquires, seriously.
“Yes, he does. I love him, Harry. But I love you too and I can’t lose you.” You reply.
“You will never lose me Y/n/n. I love you too sis,” Harry says pulling you into a hug.
“Do you love her?” He asks Draco after he and you break apart.
“With all my heart,” Draco replies, giving you his signature smirk.
“If you hurt her in any way-” Harry starts but Draco cuts him off.
“Yeah, yeah, Potter, you’ll kill me. Don’t worry Potter, if I hurt her I’ll gladly let you.” Draco gives Harry his signature smirk before Draco wraps an arm around your shoulders.
“Nice job today Potter, thanks for saving our girl.” Draco congratulates Harry.
“Yeah me and my stupid moral fiber. I could’ve gotten first if I wasn’t such a moron.” Harry replies with a chuckle.
“I can’t argue with you there.” Draco teases and it warms your heart to see your boyfriend and brother getting along. Even if they were still giving each other shit at least they weren’t hexing each other.
“I think you did splendidly,” you say giving your brother a high five.
“Thanks, Y/n/n. I gotta go party in the common room, can’t be late.” He explains before rushing off to join Ron and Hermione on the way back to the castle.
“Wanna go to the party with me?” You ask Draco.
“I don’t know, even if your brother doesn’t hate me I’m still a Slytherin. And we both know how Gryffindors feel about Slytherins.” Draco replies hesitantly.
“Maybe it’s time we start to change that.” You suggest giving him a small smile.
“Anything for my girl.” Draco agrees walking back towards the castle with you.

Heather
Summary: Iris wants nothing more than to admit her feelings for her best friend Draco before they leave for holiday, but she questions her decision when Heather walks through the common room and Draco starts on his usual rant about how perfect she is. Iris watches and thinks she’s losing her best friend to Heather.
A/N: I loved writing this one and hope y’all like it. I think it’s super cute :) Also, if you couldn’t tell I’m obsessed with Kid Krow and I think I’m going to write something for each of the songs
Based on Heather by Conan Gray
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I still remember, third of December
Me in your sweater
You said it looked better
On me, than it did you
The December air blew in slowly from the window, causing Iris to shiver. Even with the fire burning in the Slytherin common room, she was freezing. “Iris, just go grab my sweater. You know where it is,” Draco insisted for the fifth time that night.
Finally giving in, she walked up the stairs to the boy’s dormitory. Draco had knowingly left it sitting neatly folded on his bed for her, and she smiled as she saw it. Throwing the dark green sweater over her robes she ran back downstairs to finish the essay they’d been working on. His eyes lit up with slight adoration when he saw her. “It suits you,” he said as she plopped down on the couch next to him.
“I know, you say that every time I steal it,” Iris replied, wishing she could just tell him she loved him already.
“You really could just keep it, you know.”
“No, I like having it here. Besides, I could never show up in the Gryffindor common room wearing green,” she joked.
“True,” he said and they went back to their essays.
Draco’s sweater was slightly big on her so she kept having to pull the sleeves up, but she didn’t mind. It was soft, and it smelled like him. It was hard for Iris to concentrate with him so close. Every time he looked over at her she could feel her confession threatening to spill from her lips. She’d planned to do it every day for the last two weeks, but every time she got close she thought about how he would react. She pictured Draco holding back a laugh, reminding her that they were best friends and nothing more. But, what if he did feel the same way? What if he said it back?
They’d been best friends since third year Potions when Draco decided to come sit with her instead of his usual group of friends. She’d never asked why he did it, but she was glad he did. He’d spilled beetle eyes on her that day, and they spent an extra twenty minutes in the dungeons cleaning them up. After he apologized a million times, Iris decided the rumors about Draco Malfoy had been exaggerated. Although he could sometimes be as arrogant as everyone said, that side of him came out rarely when he was with her. The Draco she grew to know preferred licorice over chocolate, loved talking about Quidditch, and just wanted to pass his Transfiguration O.W.L. with at least an ‘A’. He was no different than anyone else she’d met at Hogwarts, just judged too quickly in her opinion. Since that day in Potions they’d written every essay together. And stayed up past curfew wandering the halls, running from Filch when they were caught. And gone in every shop in Hogsmeade together. And spent their free time down at the Quidditch pitch practicing to beat each other. No matter what it was, Iris and Draco did it together.
Many of Draco’s friends approached them when they started hanging out, asking if Iris was “his girl”, but Draco had assured them they were nothing more than friends. As more and more people questioned their relationship, Iris had found herself doing the same. It wasn’t until a particularly snowy day in Hogsmeade that she realized her feelings for her friend. They’d gone into the Three Broomsticks for hot chocolate to warm up. Draco had these stupid earmuffs on that he insisted kept his ears perfectly toasty. When Iris didn’t believe him, she’d reached across the table and took them from his head. She found they were surprisingly warm, but Draco thought she looked hilarious. The earmuffs squished her face slightly and Draco to burst into laughter, causing hot chocolate to come spraying out of his mouth. With cocoa showered across her face, Iris also exploded into a fit of laughter. Every time Draco looked up, he laughed harder until tears were dripping down both of their faces. It was at that moment she knew she loved him. With tears running down his cheeks, hot chocolate dripping down his chin, and the widest grin across his face, Draco Malfoy had never looked better. After ten minutes, Iris took the earmuffs off, wiped her face, and they’d headed back up to Hogwarts together.
Only if you knew
How much I liked you
But I watch your eyes, as she walks by
What a sight for sore eyes
Brighter than a blue sky
She’s got you mesmerized
While I die
Iris was snapped out of her thoughts when Draco nudged her. She looked up and he eyed towards the common room entrance. Heather had walked in. Her silky blonde hair was tied back in an elegant bun, and Draco couldn’t seem to take his eyes off her. She smiled and waved to the two of them as she walked up to the Slytherin girls’ dormitory. Draco waved back, then turned to Iris once she was gone, “D’ya think she’d go out with me?”
Iris shrugged, “Maybe.”
Heather. He’d been obsessed with her since she’d come back from summer holiday at the beginning of fourth year with her previously brown hair dyed a radiant blonde. Iris thought it looked fake, but Draco thought it looked great. Iris had spent all of last year staring at her best friend as he stared at the newly-blonde Heather. She watched him attempt to flirt his way through Potions, and assumed he spent all of his classes doing this as well. Iris also spent a lot of time last year cursing the Sorting Hat for putting her in Gryffindor instead of Slytherin. She wanted to be the girl he spent all his time trying to impress. She wanted to be Heather. Instead, she’d lost her Potions partner and was the one putting in the effort to keep her best friend.
“I think I’ll ask her to go to Hogsmeade this weekend with me,” Draco said excitedly.
Iris didn’t think this could get any worse. Hogsmeade was their thing to do together. They always spent the weekend before Christmas holiday shopping for their gifts together. Draco never knew what to get his mother, but Iris found the perfect gift for Narcissa every time. Once their gifts had been found, they’d split up to shop for the other and finish the day exchanging their gifts with hot chocolate at Three Broomsticks.
“Your mother will want a new tea set. You can find a nice one at the store around the corner from Honeydukes,” Iris said, ignoring Draco’s statement and collecting her things.
He obviously didn’t pick up on Iris’s disappointment at him, because he replied, “That’s a great idea! Thanks!”
She stood up with her books in her arm when she remembered his sweater. She quickly pulled it off her body and left it folded in her place on the couch. “Goodnight. I’ll see you for breakfast,” Iris finished and walked to the door.
“See ya,” Draco said, not bothering to look up from his essay.
Draco didn’t show up to breakfast the next morning, which was unusual. Iris was worried he was sick, they always had breakfast together. She understood his absence when he walked into the Great Hall a few minutes later with Heather, a huge smile plastered across his face. He looked over to Iris at the Gryffindor table and gave her a wave and thumbs-up, signaling she’d said yes to his date. Iris gave a forced smile in return and looked back down at her bowl, wishing she couldn’t see him sitting next to Heather at the table across from her.
She couldn’t seem to escape the pair the rest of the day. They were joined at the hip, the way she’d been with him just yesterday. When she saw them in front of her on the way to Charms, his arm around her shoulders, she decided she didn’t want to walk that way anymore and took the long way to the classroom. Iris didn’t go to the Slytherin common room to finish her Potions essay that night, and Draco never came to find her. She spent the evening in the library, but didn’t get much homework done. She couldn’t seem to shake the image of Heather in his arms from her head. And as she wrote about the use of beetle eyes in Confusing Concoction, she couldn’t help but think about the day she’d met Draco. A part of her wish she never had. She certainly wouldn’t be feeling this upset over a boy right now if he hadn’t come and sat by her.
Watch as she stands
With her holding your hand
Put your hand on her shoulder
Now I’m getting colder
They didn’t spend much time together the week before his date with Heather. He ate a few meals with her and came to talk with her before Potions on Thursday, but they hadn’t done their homework together since Sunday night and she’d gone to bed before curfew every night this week. Already knowing the answer, she decided not to ask if they were still on for their usual Friday game night and headed up to bed far too early.
Saturday morning she lingered a bit in the dorm before heading down to Hogsmeade by herself to find her Christmas gifts. She spent a few hours wandering around all the stores, trying to find something good to get Draco for Christmas. He’d always been so good at giving gifts, but she hoped hers would blow him away this year. She knew she’d finally found it when a worker at Dervish and Banges handed her the newest broom cleaner and grip.
“All the best Seekers need a good grip!” the worker assured Iris as she handed him her Galleons.
Feeling accomplished, Iris went to get a Butterbeer from Three Broomsticks before going back up to school. As she stepped out into the snow, she saw Draco and Heather out front of Three Broomsticks, hot chocolate in their mitten-covered hands. Iris noticed her favorite green sweater on Heather and tears quickly welled in her eyes. It looked much better on her. The shade of green made her eyes pop against the snow, and Iris knew she’d never be able to wear it again. Not looking to see if Draco saw her, she decided to skip the Butterbeer and headed up to Hogwarts before anyone could see her cry. Iris spent the rest of Saturday wrapping gifts through her tears.
But how could I hate her?
She’s such an angel
But then again, kinda
Wish she were dead, as she walks by
What a sight for sore eyes
Brighter than a blue sky
She’s got you mesmerized
While I die
Iris headed to the Great Hall the next day for a late breakfast and found Draco there with Heather too, his arm wrapped around her once again.
“Hey Iris!” he shouted as he saw her walk in, “Come sit with us!”
She walked to the Slytherin table and sat down on Draco’s free side, attempting to hide her annoyance. “Hey,” Heather said kindly with a small wave, leaning in front of Draco.
“Hey,” Iris replied, feeling her annoyance lessen at Heather’s kindness.
The three of them ate breakfast together. Iris mostly listened as Draco retold his favorite Quidditch story, last year’s Slytherin versus Hufflepuff game, to Heather with great enthusiasm. Heather’s eyes widened as Draco told her about his diving catch, winning the game by ten points when he caught the Snitch. Iris had been told this story a million times, but she’d also been there. The winner would be playing for the House Cup against her, but she’d gone to support Draco too, of course. She’d brought him a Licorice Wand when she met him in the Hospital Wing right after he’d caught the Snitch. His arm had been snapped in half, but he was still running and cheering with his teammates before Snape made him go get his arm treated.
“You play Quidditch too, right Iris? For Gryffindor?” Iris was surprised at Heather’s question. She hadn’t really planned to speak with her. Like, at all.
“Yeah, Seeker as well,” she replied.
“That’s really cool! I wish I could play Quidditch. I’m rubbish when it comes to flying though.”
“I could teach you,” Draco suggested to Heather, pulling her closer.
“And risk breaking my arm too? No thanks, I’ll just watch.” Iris couldn’t help but perk up at Heather’s words. She’d taken her Potions and Hogsmeade partner, Iris didn’t think she could handle losing Quidditch to Heather as well. “Have you broken any bones playing Quidditch, Iris?”
“She’s broken more than I have!” Draco replied, giving Iris that old look of adoration.
“Both arms and wrists, one of the arms was thanks to Draco in our game during third year,” Iris started. Heather gave a small gasp.
Draco laughed, “It was only a little shove! I didn’t mean for you to fall.” Heather laughed now, eager to hear the rest of Iris’s injuries.
“My left leg happened during my first year, and so did the collarbone,” Iris finished.
“Wow! And you came back to play the next year?” Heather asked in amazement.
“Yeah she did! She played her first game back in a sling and a boot. Flew her broom with only one hand!” Draco told Heather, even more excited than he’d been when telling his own story.
“He forgot to mention that I beat him like that too,” Iris said, receiving a slight shove from Draco.
“We agreed to never mention that again!”
They spent the rest of the day like that. The three of them did homework in the Slytherin common room. Iris sat in the armchair across from the two of them on the couch, trying to ignore the fact that Heather was in her spot. Iris had to admit she’d had a really great time with the two of them. Draco wasn’t any different with Heather than he’d ever been with her. Maybe she could accept the two of them. Once she’d gotten over her own feelings.
At a quarter to eleven Iris packed up her things and headed for her own common room. “Wait, I’ll walk you out,” Draco stopped her. When they got out into the hallway and the door was shut he pulled her into a huge hug. “Thank you, Iris.”
“For what?” she asked when he’d let go.
“For not calling me out for ditching you this weekend. For spending the day getting to know her. For being my best friend.” Iris smiled and now it was her turn to hug him. “Christmas gift exchange Thursday night? I leave for holiday Friday after classes,” he asked.
“Of course. I think mine will finally be better than yours for once!” Iris said and walked away. Draco just shook his head and laughed. He hadn’t forgotten about their traditions. And they were still best friends.
Why would you ever kiss me?
I’m not even half as pretty
You gave her your sweater
It’s just polyester
But you like her better
I wish I were Heather
The week continued like Sunday had: the three of them ate, studied, and just hung out together. The more time she spent with her, the more Iris liked Heather. And Draco seemed so happy, boosting Iris’s mood even more. Him being happy was truly all she wanted.
Wednesday night Iris decided to leave Draco and Heather after dinner and headed back to the Gryffindor common room to finish her last homework before the holiday started. She was about to head up to bed for an early night, when Heather was let into the common room by a second year Gryffindor.
“Hey, what’s up?” Iris asked as Heather sat down next to her.
“I can’t do it with him,” she replied candidly.
“What? Why?”
“You.”
“What?” Iris laughed slightly.
“The way he looks at you, Iris. It’s obvious he loves you, even if he hasn’t realized it yet. And I can’t stand in the way of something as perfect as you and Draco Malfoy,” she said, receiving a shocked look from Iris.
“He doesn’t love me, Heather. I can promise you that much.”
“You don’t see it. Maybe because we can never believe that someone we like might actually feel the same way,” she looked at Iris knowingly, “but he does.”
Iris didn’t know what to say. Was she that obvious? Did Draco know too? Even though she’d always wanted to tell him how she felt, she never did because she didn’t want him to know. She couldn’t handle the embarrassment of being rejected by her best friend.
“I told him I couldn’t do this. Don’t worry, I didn’t mention you. I just told him I didn’t have time for the commitment right now,” Heather finished, getting up to leave. “Heather, why do you think he feels the same way? About me?”
“Iris. He looks at you with this admiration, like he’s so proud to call you his. You make his world stop. He’s in love with you.”
Iris couldn’t help the smiling that was creeping onto her face. Maybe he really did love her.
Wish I were Heather
Wish I were Heather
Why would you ever kiss me?
I’m not even half as pretty
The next day at breakfast Draco told Iris what had happened the night before. She’d been worried he’d be heartbroken, but he truly seemed okay.
“She’s wonderful, but I appreciate her being honest about her time commitment. It made me think too, and I wouldn’t have time to be in a relationship right now either,” Draco said. Iris felt slightly disappointed. Heather had been wrong, he didn’t want to be with her. If he didn’t even have time for the girl of his dreams, he definitely didn’t have time for her.
When they’d finished their breakfast and went to head their separate ways for class Draco asked, “We still on for gifts tonight? Maybe we can head up to the astronomy tower? Does nine work?” Iris nodded in response, excited to give him her gift.
A little before nine Iris grabbed Draco’s gift and headed to the tower to meet him. She was blown away by how bright and clear the night sky was when she walked up the stairs. She was there a few minutes early, so Draco hadn’t arrived yet. She laid down to look up when the blonde boy poked his head into her view.
“Hey. Beautiful night, isn’t it?” Draco asked her as he laid down next to her.
“Yeah, it really is. And quite warm for December,” Iris sat up and grabbed the bag next to her. “I want to go first. We have to save the best for last!”
“Alright, but I doubt yours is better than what’s in there,” he replied, gesturing to the bag in her hands.
“Well, let’s find out!” Iris ripped away the tissue paper to reveal her favorite green sweater, as well as socks that looked as though Draco may have knitted them himself. Her heart sank as she lifted the sweater out of the bag, trying to look as excited as possible.
“Mum tried to teach me to knit over Thanksgiving. And I remembered how much you liked the sw- what’s wrong, Iris?” he said, noticing her getting more and more upset. Iris looked up at him as the first tear fell across her cheek.
“I can’t take the sweater.”
“Yes you can. You love it. I’ll have Mum knit me a new one, so then you’ll have one in your room and mine.”
“She wore it,” Iris replied, more tears falling now.
“What?”
“Heather wore it in Hogsmeade. I saw the two of you and she had it on.”
Iris was full-on crying now, and Draco wasn’t sure what to do. He’d thought she’d love it. And she looked so cute in it.
“Iris, what’s this about? I told you this morning, Heather and I can’t be together.”
Iris laughed at his ignorance, but decided it was time to tell him. “I know you can’t, and I’m sorry. I know you really liked her. But I can’t take the sweater because it just reminds me of what I don’t have, Draco.”
“And what would that be?”
“You.”
Draco stared at her without a word, and Iris knew what was coming. She’d heard his laughs in her head when she’d pictured this moment before. She knew the teasing that was coming, but it felt so good to have it off her chest. And when she closed her eyes, waiting for the excruciating blow to her heart, she was surprised to feel his lips on hers.
Draco pulled away after a few seconds and smiled when he looked at Iris. “I gave Heather my sweater for about five minutes because she was cold. But I asked her to give it back to me, because I couldn’t look at her in it. She wasn’t you. She didn’t need to pull the sleeves up, and she didn’t put that loose strand on the collar in her mouth like you do when you’re really focused on an essay. So I took it back, washed it, then wore it for a few days when I didn’t see you. I know you like it when it smells like me. I’m sorry it took me so long to realize, Iris, but I love you.”
Iris didn’t know what to make of his confession, or his kiss. She wanted to jump into his arms and say yes a million times. She loved him too. So much. But then she remembered what he’d said at breakfast this morning. He didn’t have time to commit to a relationship right now. And Iris was pretty sure his schedule couldn’t have changed that much in one day to make time for a girlfriend.
“I love you too. I always have, Draco. But you said it yourself this morning: you don’t have time to commit to this right now,” Iris responded honestly.
“Iris, I don’t have time to commit to anyone else because I spend all my time with you,” he said with a laugh,” All those days I was alone with Heather? I spent every minute wishing it was you instead. Like I said, I’m sorry it took that to make me realize, but I know it now Iris. I know that I love you. And there’s no one else that could be as perfect for me as you.”
Iris couldn’t believe this was happening. She’d imagined it so many times, but it didn’t compare to what she was feeling right now. Her best friend loved her back. She smiled brightly as now happy tears dropped onto the tower floor. “Open your gift,” she said, pulling the sweater over her head. She didn’t think she’d ever take it off now.
His eyes lit up as he opened his gift. “How’d you know I needed a new grip? And this is the best one, Iris! It must’ve cost you a fortune.”
“I figured you needed it after I beat you, again,” she joked and he pulled her into his arms and kissed her softly.
“You look so beautiful in that sweater. I think I won the gift exchange again.”
“I think we both won this year,” Iris said, snuggling closer to Draco.
“Agreed.”
You gave her your sweater
It’s just polyester
But you like her better
Wish I were…

Do you think I'll get house points if I act like I care? 〚Part IV〛
» Draco watches her carefully. "A sickle for your thoughts." That has her glaring at him again. "You're an annoying git, Draco Malfoy." He laughs. "Right back at you, Granger. Right back at you." «
*note: I’m not an english native speaker, so please excuse any grammar mistakes. I’ll gladly fix them if you point them out to me.
Read Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV & Part V
Thank you to everyone who has been reading so far! It means a lot since this is the first story I’ve ever posted. I’ve decided to add a fifth and final part which will be coming soon.
It's been three weeks. Three weeks of Draco Malfoy avoiding one particular witch at all costs. It's not fully possible of course. This is Hogwarts after all and they share classes together. But he does his best to ignore her existence.
No comments about her hair, no regards to her swottiness whatsoever. Nothing. As if that could help him. Abstinence, he realizes, only makes him long for her more. He is hyperaware of her when they're in the same room and he steals glances when he thinks she's not paying attention.
That, it turns out, is a big mistake. Because the Gryffindor does pay attention and she's well aware of the change in behaviour from her fellow classmate. Which is why when Draco gets up to leave after McGonagall releases them from their afternoon class, Hermione already awaits him by the door. Ron and Harry stand in the hallway, waiting for their friend. Other students quickly pass by.
"We need to talk, Malfoy." He tries to step around her but she doesn't let him. "There's nothing I have to say to you, Granger." Liar. There are at least five different things he would like to say to her. First of all, how dare she be so bloody distracting with her doe eyes and smart wits. "Nonsense. You're being odd lately, even more than usual." Of course she noticed. Draco looks past her, managing to put on a bored expression. He lets a moment pass before he speaks. "Do you think I'll get house points if I act like I care?" She rolls his eyes and momentarily turns towards the direction where the other two Gryffindors are standing. "Go on without me, will you?" Harry gives her a doubtful look, eyes trailing over to Draco. "Are you sure?" Ron merely glares at the Slytherin, not saying a word. Hermione gives them a reassuring nod. "I'll see you later." She turns back around to face him and he watches the two boys leave, not missing how Ron mutters 'arrogant prat' before disappearing around the corner.
They're alone now. Even McGonagall has left through the back door. The Blonde tries to focus on anything but the girl standing in front of him. "Are you planning something?" That has him look at her. She eyes him with suspicion, crossing her arms. He scoffs. "What are you talking about?" "I'm asking if you're plotting something against me. You've been awfully quiet and you avoid me at all costs. It feels like the calm before a storm." That has him astonished. She's nervous because of his behavior towards her.
"Of course you'd think that." Draco sighs in relief. She doesn't know. Thank Merlin. He smirks before bending forward a little, so that he's on eye level with her and almost whispers his next words. "Well, one does not plot a murder out loud, do they?" The Slytherin steps back again with a sly smile. "Now, if you'd excuse me. I have plans to proceed with." He tries to move past her once again but in a split second Hermione has her wand against his chest. His eyebrows rise and he holds his hands up in defence. "Granger, I was joking. I’m not plotting your demise. No need to get violent. " She can be outright terrifying when angry. He would know.
With a frustrated sigh the Gryffindor lowers the wand to her side. Draco watches her carefully. "A sickle for your thoughts." That has her glaring at him again. "You're an annoying git, Draco Malfoy." He laughs. "Right back at you, Granger. Right back at you." She crosses her arms again, visibly on the defence. "Why are you so loathsome?" "I could ask you the same thing", he retorts. The witch gives him an incredulous look. "What have I ever done to you?" He scoffs at that. "Your mere existence is enough to torture me." "Because my blood isn't pure like yours?" Her eyes are challenging him. He doesn't back down though. "Pick whatever reason suits you, Granger. I don’t care." He’s lying, again. Hermione takes a step closer. "I’m sure your father would be disappointed if he knew that you’re speaking to a lowly mudblood." She hits a sore spot with that. He can’t deny the truth of her statement. His father would be disappointed, angry even.
It takes the Slytherin a moment to find his voice but for once he tells the truth. “Some days, I find that I don’t care.” Hermione is stunned into silence at this confession. They stare at each other for longer than two school rivals should, before the sound of approaching footsteps breaks the spell. "I should go." Draco doesn't give her time to protest, he slips through the door and then he's gone.
Hermione on the other hand stays rooted in her place, more confused than ever.

Harry laughed happily as he landed on the grass. Draco was only seconds behind him clutching the snitch with a massive grin on his face. “Good one, Draco.” “Oh, it wasn’t really a good one. Pretty easy actually.” Draco drawled with a smirk. Harry laughed again as he shoved Draco’s shoulder. “Whatever, that dive was pretty amazing.” Draco’s smirk became a proud smile. “Come on, let’s go eat something. I’m starving!” Harry said. The smile morphed into a frown. “No. We each won one, it’s a draw. We have to play another.” Harry grinned at him. “Let’s leave it a draw.” Draco arched a brow. “Scared Potter?” Laughing, Harry slung an arm around his friends shoulders. “Yes, scared you’ll pout and ignore me all day when I beat you.” Draco sniffed. “First of all, I am not so petty. And who says you’d win anyway? So arrogant, Harry.” Harry laughed and squeezed his friend in a hug. “Yeah. I’m the arrogant here, Draco.” Draco gently bumped the side of his head against Harry’s as they walked to the castle. “So long as you know.”
On the following Sunday they found themselves trudging through a mountain of homework, much to Harry’s displeasure. Ron and Hermione had gone for a picnic on the grounds, since Hermione always made sure they were up to date on their work. Sighing Harry dropped his head heavily against the couch. Draco, who was curled up in the corner of the couch next to him, looked up with an arched brow. “Giving up already?” Harry groaned and closed his eyes. “Yes.” He jerked up when he felt Draco flick him between the eyes. “Hey!” He protested, rubbing the sore spot with his fingers. “You’d better keep going. Don’t think that you can leave it and get me to help you just because Granger won’t let you fly until it’s done.” He went back to looking at his book. Harry turned to him with wide eyes. “That is a fantastic idea.” When Draco just let out a soft laugh but otherwise ignored him, Harry moved so he could lie leaning comfortably against Draco’s side. He closed his eyes and let out a relieved sigh. “Potter!” Draco groaned. “I am absolutely not doing your work for you.” But he didn’t move or shove Harry off, which Harry knew he wouldn’t. After several blissful minutes, right when Harry was sure he was on the cusp of a wonderful dream, he fell to the floor as Draco stood up. He pointed a finger accusingly at Harry, “Do some work, Harry. Or we will go to the library.” Sighing in defeat, Harry sat up and faced his books once more.
Hours later they were sitting in front of the crackling fire eating Bertie Botts beans. Draco was sprawled across a single seat with his legs hanging across the side while Harry sat on the floor with his legs crossed and back against Draco’s seat. Draco had the box of beans and alternated between taking one and lowering the box for Harry. Ron and Hermione entered the common room with cheerful greetings. Harry appreciated everyone’s efforts to get along, since he knew it was only for his sake, but he did wish his three best friends were more than just polite to one another. “Did you have a good picnic?” Draco asked them. “Oh, yes it was lovely thanks.” Hermione smiled at him. Ron nodded a bit awkwardly at him. “Oh, Harry. You’ll never guess what.” Ron started, and Hermione shot him a suspicious look. “We saw Terry there, he was in the middle of a big fight, seems like him and his boyfriend broke up.” Hermione’s look of suspicion became one of horror as she tugged on Ron’s hand. Harry’s stomach dropped as he willed Ron not to continue. But he did. “So he’s single now, and you can finally ask him out. I know you used to have a massive crush on him.” Harry closed his eyes, but the thick silence wouldn’t be ignored. He was so glad he couldn’t see Draco’s expression at that moment. There had been a hundred moments when he meant to come out to Draco. It wasn’t that he was embarrassed or anything. It was just that he really enjoyed their friendship. He didn’t know how they’d become so comfortable touching each other all the time, but he was scared that it would change if Draco knew. He opened his eyes to find Ron looking from him to Hermione with confusion brewing in his eyes. Hermione was watching Draco carefully, which could only mean that he most definitely wasn’t looking at them. Harry sighed internally. He cleared his throat. “Uh, thanks.” Hermione looked at him pitifully and quickly started talking about their day, filling the silence as best she could. She asked about how their studies went, Harry responded and Draco said a word or two. After suffering through it as long as he could, Harry wished everyone good night. He couldn’t bring himself to look at Draco as he left, but let his hand trail along his shoulder as he walked passed.
The next morning, Harry lingered in bed. If he could, he’d avoid seeing Draco all day. Unfortunately, his last class was potions where they were partners. At breakfast he managed to get away with only a smile and a wave since Draco sat at the Slytherin table still. Harry tried hard to focus on his lessons all day, but he couldn’t deny he was nervous to see him. When he arrived in potions at the end of the day, Draco was already there with all the ingredients for the days potion. He was chopping furiously when Harry reached him. “Hi, Draco.” He said nervously, fidgeting with the strap on his bag. “Hi, Potter.” Draco glanced up with a small smile. After a few seconds he rolled his eyes. “Are you going to help or do you expect me to do all the work?” Harry could have laughed with relief, but he didn’t. He gave Draco a grateful smile which was returned with a small quirk of the lips and they got to work. The rest of the lesson passed in the same manner as the ones before. After, they walked together to dinner and Harry felt relieved. Until he couldn’t find Draco anywhere after dinner. He went to bed with a sinking feeling.
The week passed in the same pattern. The only time that Harry really saw Draco was during potions, his behavior seemingly unchanged. But Harry missed him. After potions on Friday Harry had had enough. As they walked together to dinner he blurted out. “Where have you been all week?” Grey eyes glanced up from the floor to meet his before flickering away. “I can never find you after dinner.” He said accusingly. Draco answered softly. “I’ve had detention every day.” “What?” Harry asked, reaching out to grab Draco’s arm. “For what?” Turning to face Harry, Draco sighed. “You know how it is, some teachers will make up reasons to punish me.” Harry frowned and opened his mouth to express his outrage when Draco gave him a defeated smile. “It doesn’t matter. Okay?” Harry deflated. Draco twitched his arm awkwardly and Harry realized he was still holding him. He let go quickly but noticed the blush on Draco’s cheeks. He deflated a little more.
On Saturday morning when Harry returned from breakfast he found Draco in the common room with his homework. After fetching his own, he sank down on the couch next to him. Draco shifted to make more room for him. After working for a little while Draco got up to get a different textbook and settled down again on the single couch. Harry frowned. He wouldn’t have thought anything about it before, but.. He sighed heavily and tried to focus on his work.
The next day he found himself working alone in the library. When he returned to the common room he found Draco curled up on the single couch with a book. He looked up when Harry entered and frowned slightly. “Where were you today?” He asked. Harry shrugged, struggling to meet his eyes. “Thought I’d concentrate better in the library.” He moved to walk past where Draco was sitting, when Draco’s hand shot out as if to grab his hand but stopped suddenly, quivered in the air for a moment before disappearing just as fast. Harry hesitated briefly. With a disappointed sigh he carried on walking. “Harry.” Draco said. Harry half turned to face him, an eyebrow raised. Draco cleared his throat. “Would you like to go fly for a bit?” Harry frowned skeptically, unsure of what how he wanted to respond. “There’s enough time for at least one game to end our draw before the light goes.” Draco said, smiling uncertainly. And that’s what got to Harry. “Yeah, alright.” He answered finally.
The walk to the quidditch pitch was filled with awkward silence. At least it was for Harry. Once they were flying though, Harry felt better. The light started to go quickly and Harry was scanning rather desperately for the snitch, it was the one he had caught in first year and he was rather sentimental about it. A glint of gold caught his eye and he dove toward it. As he neared it he saw Draco coming in from a different angle, slightly ahead of him. He pushed forward, urging his broom to go faster. At the last moment, he realized Draco would get there first and Harry would barrel into him soon after. Unfortunately, the last moment didn’t give him enough time to stop or change direction. All he could do was slow down to soften the impact. Thankfully they were low to the ground so when they tumbled over one another and onto the grass, it wasn’t too hard a fall. They rolled and Harry landed half on Draco’s chest with a massive groan. Draco was gasping heavily. Harry lifted himself to quickly pat Draco down for injuries and once he was satisfied that he was fine he fell half onto Draco’s chest again. They caught their breath in silence. It was the happiest Harry had been all week. Until Draco said, “Two one, Potter.” Harry looked up to see Draco clutching the snitch with a triumphant grin. He laughed and pushed himself up onto an elbow. “You can’t tell me this one was an easy win.” Harry teased. “No, I can’t.” Draco chuckled and smiled at Harry. Harry smiled back, happy to have his friend back. He noticed the pink tinge on Draco’s cheeks as Draco’s eyes flickered away and he shifted awkwardly. Harry sat up quickly and Draco scooted away from Harry. His heart sank. Draco cleared his throat, “Well, let’s go back.” He stood up and retrieved his broom. Harry sat there with his knees bent and his elbows resting on his knees, drowning in unhappiness. He wasn’t going to get his easy friendship back. Draco had walked a few paces back toward the castle when he turned around. “Harry?” He said tentatively. Harry sighed. “I can’t do this, Draco.” He shoved his hands in his hair and looked away, frustrated. Draco frowned and came back. “What do you mean?” He asked softly. “I mean I want you to just freak out about the fact that I didn’t tell you and be honest if you have a problem with who I am. I can’t take this dancing around it. I miss you.” He bit his lip to stop himself. After a long pause he looked up to find Draco staring at him in shock. “You think I have a problem with who you are?” He asked quietly, which set warning bells off in Harry’s head. “You think I’ve been acting strange because I don’t accept this part of you.” He added. Then he laughed, a self deprecating sound that Harry knew well. Draco lifted a hand to his forehead. “Why wouldn’t you? It’s the obvious conclusion.” He laughed again, a little hysterically this time, which broke Harry out of his daze. He stood up and slowly approached him. “Well, if it’s not that then what is it?” He asked. Draco closed his eyes briefly before meeting Harry’s eyes. Harry watched a flush creep up his neck as he seemed to search for words. “Well, I couldn’t exactly be mad at you for not telling me when I’ve been keeping the exact same secret.” His cheeks were a deep pink now. Harry’s ears were ringing. “What?” He whispered, disbelieving. Draco gave him a sheepish smile. “Sorry.” Harry could only stare at him. Draco swallowed nervously. “Anyway, I was trying to find the right time to tell you about me. But, as you know, it’s not easy.” He laughed awkwardly again. “And somehow knowing about you made my little crush seem less impossible which is stupid, really I know, so I was just giving myself a bit of space to dispel that illusion. That’s why I got detention everyday. I couldn’t focus, I was useless in class.” His gaze was flickering from Harry’s shoulder, his collar to his throat. Anywhere but his eyes. After a fortifying breath Draco added. “Our friendship is important to me. I didn’t want to mess it up.” Harry was confused. He was shocked. But he knew that that made him happy. He pulled Draco towards him and wrapped him in a tight hug. “I missed you, you idiot.” Draco melted into the hug which made Harry’s heart soar. They stood like that for a long time. Eventually Draco pulled back, much to Harry’s regret. Harry searched his gaze. “It’s not impossible, you know. Or an illusion.” He whispered. Draco’s breath caught. Harry smiled at him. “I don’t think.” Harry amended. But as he watched the moonlight play over Draco’s features he thought it was probably extremely possible. Probable in fact. Draco watched Harry watch him for the longest time. His look of shock slowly abated until Harry was staring at Draco’s trademark smirk. “You’d better not think that counts as asking me out, because my standards are considerably higher than that.” Harry laughed and Draco smiled before adding, “I’m serious.” With that he turned and started toward the castle. Harry scrambled to catch up. “I’ll write a poem.” He said. Draco groaned. “Please don’t. I’m pretty set on saying yes. Don’t make that hard for me to do.” Harry grinned. Feeling bold, he reached out to grab Draco’s hand as they walked forward. He let out a content sigh when Draco laced their fingers together.

Thank you so much we really appreciate it and we want to say a big thank you too because we have such awesome followers like you ❤️️ Here is your scenario sweetie ;) You are most compatible with J-Hope 😊
1st year: You got the letter from Hogwarts 1 month ago and you were really excited. You were getting your things for Hogwarts in the Diagon Alley with your family when you meet a girl,” Hey I’m Y/N nice to meet you !” She looked fierce at you then she said to fast,” My name is Hermione and I’m a Muggle ! Do you want be one of my new friends ?” You laughed at her,” Well yes sure Hermione you seem very nice and eager.” She smiled,” Yes I always am and I love learning ! Do you know a lot about magic ?” You nodded,” Yes I’m a Pure-Blood and my whole Family works at the Ministry of Magic !” She was shocked,” Wow that’s cool I want to work there too when I graduate from Hogwarts.” The conversation lasts for about an 1 hour and she became your new best friend. At Hogwarts you were nervous but Hermione assured you that you two will get into Gyriffindor. When the Sorting Hat was on your head he said,” You have a good soul and you’re very clever so Gryffindor would be an option for you but I in your future you will change a lot and you won't be the same person anymore. So.... Slytherin it is !” You were about to cry what did he mean ? Why would you change ? Will something bad happen ?. Hermione and you were still meeting and you ignored the stares from the other Slytherins. You had 2 new friends called Yoongi and Hoseok.
2nd year: The other Slytherins did not accept you because you were a good person even some of them harassed you but Hermione defended you. She asked you to come with her, Harry and Ron to solve the mystery about the Chamber of Secrets. You helped them as much as you could but Snape was watching you all the time. One day you meet a cute boy at the Black Lake. You said,” Oh a Hufflepuff I never talked to one I heard Hufflepuff’s are the nicest people on earth is that true ? My name is Y/N by the way !” He was very shy and began to speak,” Eeee...mmhhh my name ii..ss Jungkook ! I well... I think yes we a...rre nice.” You began to smile of how cute he is,” Don't be shy Jungkook I’m not bad just because I’m in Slytherin !” He smiled and said goodbye then he run away. You loved his black hair and bunny smile. You told Hermione about him and she said,” I think I like Ron Y/N what should I do ?” Your mouth hang open,” Ron ? RON ? nooooo he is not your type ! Maybe Draco ? He is way better for you ! She made gag sounds,” EW no not Draco I would rather die than date him !” You shrugged and walked back to the Slytherin common room. Yoongi and Hoseok were sitting on the Sofa. Yoongi said,” Hey Y/N do you want a chocolate frog ? My brother send me them today.” You nodded and took one. You said,” Are you guys bad or why do you think that the Sorting Hat has sorted you into Slytherin ?” Hoseok swallowed,” No not bad but maybe we treat people a little bit colder .” You said,” But I do not ! I am so friendly.” Yoongi laughed,” Yeah too friendly for sure !” You sighed and went to your room.
3rd year: Draco asked you if you want to hang out with him a few weeks ago since then he became one of your friends. Draco said,” You are very beautiful Y/N why do you hang out with that Muggle girl and Harry Potter ?” You waited a few seconds before answering,” I like her, she is very nice and a good friend ! I can relay on her and she helps me with homeworks.” He shook his head,” You don't have to be her friend ! I’m reliable too and you would be accepted from the other Slytherins.” You thought for a minute,” Well we could try that out but I will hang out with her once a week.” He nodded. You walked to the Black Lake to meet Hermione. You two hugged then she said,” So what do you want to talk about ?” You took her hand and said,” I don't want to hang out that much with you anymore because I’m friends now with Draco and the other Slytherins would accept me !” She glared at you,” Ohh just because you want to be accepted you hang out with false friends ? Their not even your “friends”. You were about to cry,” No Hermione they are my friends and you need to accept that ! Just because you are not popular you say something like that !” She screamed,” THEN GO TO YOUR NEW FRIENDS I DONT NEED YOU !” Then she walked off. Hoseok and Yoongi saw what happened and asked you,” What was that about ?” You didn’t say anything just hugged them both for comfort.
4th year: What the Sorting Hat said was true you changed and became one of the bad ones. You, Yoongi and Hoseok are the Trio of the bad side along with Draco and his friends. When you heard about the Yule Ball you decided to go with both Yoongi and Hoseok. You wore something short and sexy. Everyone was looking at you. Hermione couldn’t understand why you became so slutty. When one of your jams came on and you danced wildly and rubbed your butt against Hoseok’s, Yoongi’s and Draco’s pelvis. You where turned on the first time in your life and you loved it. At that night you made out with all 3 of the boys. Since then you were the hot girl of school and you had a lot of boyfriends. You never felt love but it was fun. One day you meet Jungkook in the corridors. You smiled at him and rubbed his arm,” Hey cutie do you want to eat lunch with me ?” He shrugged you off and said,” No not interested ! I’m not one of your lovers.” Then he walked away. You loved him but you didn’t wanted to change your style because you liked it. Hoseok became your first long time boyfriend.
5th year: You are so popular now and every boy wants you. Hoseok was very jealous and one day he said to you,” Y/N just stop you have me now why are you dressing so revealing ?” You were annoyed and said,” Because I like this style and the attention !” He was about to cry and said,” Well then I’m breaking up with you !” You said,” Fine go away I can handle that .” Then you walked away. A week later you got a new boyfriend named John. He is hot, very tall and strong. One day he trapped you against the wall and kissed you wildly. You were used to do that but this time he wanted more. He touched your boobs and undid his jeans. You screamed,” WHAT ARE YOU DOING ? I’M STILL A VIRGIN AND YOU ARE NOT THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME SO STOP IT ! He just laughed and began to undress you. You fighted against him but he was too strong. But then you heard a loud bam and John was on the ground unconscious. Hoseok saved you. You cried into his arms he carried you bridal style back to your room. You said,” Thank you so much Hoseok I love you ! He tried to rape me and you saved me my hero.” “Shhhhh Y/N don't talk you need to sleep baby ! I love you too.” He forgave you and you were once again a couple.
6th year: You changed your style once again completely to innocent and everyone ignored you again. It does not bother you because you had Hoseok. Yoongi helped to be friends with Hermione again and it worked. Hermione and you were best friends again. Draco were disappointed in you and called you a betrayer. This life made you happier and you knew that Hoseok is the love of your life. Hoseok showed you the Room of Requirement. You two imagined to be in a warm and cozy Cabin. The fireplace was on the right and a big queen sized bed was on the other side. You two hugged each other and looked into the fire. Hoseok began to speak,” Y/N I love you so much ! And I want you to always be with me.” You smiled,” I want to be with you too !” He smiled and kissed you. The kiss grew more passionate and you wanted him. You broke the kiss and said,” Hoseok I’m ready !” He looked deeply into your eyes carried you to the bed,” Are you sure ? I don't want to hurt you !” You smiled and nodded heavily. He began to kiss your neck and you moaned for the first time. You pulled him in more and ripped his shirt off. He unbuttoned you blouse and kissed your breasts. The other clothes came off pretty fast and you saw his erection ready to enter you. You took a deep breath and he trusted slowly into you. It hurts but you don't want it to stop. After a few minutes the pain was away and you assured him that you were alright. You moaned louder and he trusted into with a fast rhythm. His moans became louder and his penis twitched inside of you. Your orgasm hit you hard. You both were so happy and totally in love with each other. The other day you woke up next to a naked Hoseok. You kissed his full lips and saw the hickeys you left on his collarbone. He said,” Good morning my love. Are you okay ?” You smiled,” Yes I am just a little sore but fine. That was the best night of my life.” He caressed your arm and gave you a light kiss on the forehead,” Yes mine too sweetie.” You two dressed and got back into your rooms. Hoseok told Yoongi and you told Hermione. She was shocked but happy that he is the one you love.
7th year: You didn’t liked the fact that Hermione was with Ron all the time. Hoseok tried to calm you down because you were scared of Voldemort. The day came and you, Hoseok and Yoongi fought on the side of Harry Potter. Luckily no one was seriously injured. You became a good Magician and learned everything from Hermione. After graduating from Hogwarts you married Hoseok after 2 years. You two have 3 sons and 1 girl. They are named Ichiro ( that means first son ), Youngjae, Win and Nami. You work at the Ministry of Magic and Hoseok owns a Candy shop in the Diagon Alley. Hermione visited you with her kids every weekend. Sadly your kids and her kids couldn’t go to school together because her children go to a muggle school.
