firsts with danny would be like:

date: your first daniel would be a hike. to be fair, you had no idea it was a date until the end. you thought it was two friends going on a hike until daniel opened the car door up for you and said "well that was probably my favorite date ever." "it was a date?" you were a fit of giggles while daniel was beet red.

kiss: the third date (and he made it clear it was a date this time), was dinner and a movie at his house. you two were spending a lot of time together, navigating your friendship turned something more. he was a cheesy guy, yawning to put his arm around you and pretending you have a bit of food on your lips. but you gave him a hard time, always leaning away and teasing. "you're gonna have to do better than that if you want a kiss from me mr ricciardo." he did get that kiss though, after a cliche, only-in-the-movies type scene. the one where you're laughing and it fades out as one leans into the other.

time ;): it was after wine tasting. you were stumbling into your apartment, both of you two tipsy and too needy to make it up the stairs without kissing each other. it was full of laughter and smiles, hands not shy and lips painting purple on the the other's skin.

fight: he forgot an important date, one he promised to put in his calendar but he didn't. instead he missed an important moment in your life, off drinking with his buddies. you were hurt and disappointed, so you avoided him and his efforts to reach out. he felt terrible, so while you were out he decorated your apartment with multiple flower arrangements and cooked you dinner. safe to say, all was forgiven and he never missed another important milestone of yours

saying 'i love you': it was early in the morning, the sun just beginning to rise and peek through the curtains. daniel laid beside you, fingers delicately tracing your skin with his fingers, pushing stray hairs away from your face. he shakes you gently and you stir awake, humming softly. "hey, i gotta tell you something." he whispers. "what daniel?" "i love you."

meeting his family: its a suprise trip to australia, a little getaway for the two of you. he invited them over to the his ranch, and didn't give you too much time to fret over it. they were so much like daniel, happy and genuine, and just all together welcoming. you always felt at home with the ricciardos.

meeting your family: daniel charmed them immediately, but theres no surprise there. you introduced them over the holidays (thanksgiving bc you hated thanksgiving, but he made it bearable). it made your heart melt over how quickly he seemed to melt into the mold of your family. he sat there, making easy conversation with the ones you love and cant help but love him even more.

Stuck at my dad’s office so YALL getting silly Peko family HC

Peko’s dad is Kiyotaka’s grandfather, a disgraced politician, and Kyosuke’s mom. The mom wanted to keep the baby but the dad didn’t want the secret to come out. After the baby was born, the dad ordered the yakuza to kill her, aka Fuyuhiko’s dad was called for a job. Mr. Kuzuryu accessed the situation and went, wait, she’s the product of two family known for their sword skills? Well if no one wants her… and faked Peko’s death with a fake doctor. Mr. Kuzuryu then took Peko and made her his unborn son’s retainer.

Fast forward years later, Kyosuke checks on Chisa’s class, to see what kind of rift rafts are in her girlfriend’s class. Who does he find? Someone who’s a splitting image of his mother??? Kyosuke uses his ultimate student council president skills to find out that’s his dead sister??? He confronts Mr. Kuzuryu with big dick energy and goes “Hey I know the situation. I will give you money to free my sister from your service”. Mr. Kuzuryu didn’t want to lose such a loyal retainer but he has a soft spot for Peko. Her adoptive parents gave their lives for the Kuzuryu clan and Peko been working very diligently. Not mention it would be shameful of Kyosuke revealed that Mr. Kuzuryu lied about an accomplishing a hit. So Mr. Kuzuryu retired Peko from the gang and Peko was surrendered to Kyosuke’s family,

Kyosuke confronts Peko and flats out say “I don’t respect you because you was raised as a sheep. However, becuase you are family, I will take responsibility for you. I will make you a respectable person. “ and forbids her from interacting with the Kuzuryu ever again. For reasons that Kyosuke does not understand, Peko did not like anything he said. She didn’t say anything, but her glare said a thousand words. Peko stuck with Kyosuke because she was told to do so, but Kyosuke felt daggers coming from her.

Kyosuke explains his situation to Peko’s teacher, hoping for advice. Instead he gets admonished for talking so rudely to a teenage girl. Even Kyosuke’s boyfriend, the man that defend him through anything, was shocked Kyosuke was so bad at talking to children. So Chisa went to Peko, with her mommy teacher energy, and explained that Kyosuke is an asshole but he means well. And then they both fortnite danced.

That’s all I got for now. Other than Kyosuke bringing in Taka to convince Peko not everyone in her family are assholes. I mostly thought of this because Fuyuhiko explicitly saids that Peko is retired from the gang in the DR3 anime. And Kyosuke literally looks just like Peko. He even has a fucking sword!

So, This is primarily a komanami AU with komahinanami sprinkled in (because I love Hajime too much) the idea is, after Chiza gave her the pep talk Chiaki started mission: friend, and saw Nagito being a sad little wilting flower and decided to zero in on him (two parts projection cuz she was also lonely one part attraction) so when she bumps into Hajime she ends up introducing the two eventually. That's where the komahinanami comes in.

After that Chiaki gets the FEELS and wants them both, but she picks Nagito first because he looks like he needs it WAY more, they start going out (after a bit of struggle because Nagito is a stubborn paranoid ass) they plan to bring Hajimeme in but then the EVERYTHING happens (twilight syndrome murder case) Nagito gets suspended and basically all of DR3 happens only Chiaki got pregnant before the bagel boy was yeeted.

Anyways, he comes back tragedy happens, Chiaki DIES (before she could officially tell him, but he kinda has put two and two together since and it's just as awful a feeling as you'd think it is) and Nagito as remnant is so fucking depressed over losing his two best friends and his mind AND the school he loved so much becoming super tainted in his eyes that he's sort of a lackluster terrorist. He just lets his luck do the work, doesn't do anything active.

Then he finds Towa runs into Junko and she's like 'wow you are a useless sad sack of shit here have this babysitting job instead' and that's why he's raising the warriors before UDG. Like, way, way, way, WAY before, to the point that he's put in the work where they trust him. (there's a lot of bg going on but that's why the kids call him dad)

So yeah. Potential baby that died when mom got speared in the guts is why he's so paternal. But also I hc that if he wasn't terminally ill Nagito would love being a father (he'd love a family to give him back what he lost) so he's sort of always been inclined to want kids. Just. Not actively trying for it because *gestures to him DYING*

TO ME!!!! and about that: she has a lot of scars on her body because of her dr3 execution and has worsened eyesight in her right eye because of the injury it suffered • a very basic one but she is chubby • has severe depression (even before the tragedy) and ptsd. I think lot of her behaviors make more sense if you put depression in mind. also autistic • her depression is also kinda the reason why she sleeps all the time. uses sleep to cope • a lot headcanons about her upbringing I kind of borrowed from sorren. hi sorren. some of them are that she’s chihros’s sister and that she had an abusive mother • this is kinda canon I just feel like it’s not explored enough in canon and fanon. views everything through the lens of a video games. hungry? time to start The cooking mini game (she’s quite bad at it). sleepy? she’ll close her eyes until the sleep bar is full. need to socialize? remember all previous experiences and books she has read about communicating w people and try to choose the best dialogue options so that their relationship bar stays full. after bonding and becoming closer w someone she gets the “new relationship level” achievement. etc etc I think its very funny • about socialization. something about domestic!daniel that really gets me goin. daniel taking care of you during your period would be like:

daniel is no stranger to periods and all the things that come with it. he has a sister for crying out loud, he's had to do the tampon run before.

and while you knew that, you couldn't help but still feel the slightest bit shy over daniel even having a clue that you were having your period.

he calls you up one day, offering to take out. but you were bed ridden with cramps and a heavy flow, so you decline.

of course, daniel being daniel, demands (kindly of course) to know why. you stumble over your words over a bit, but finally cave and tell him anyways.

"i'm on my period. and i don't feel well."

he hangs up.

your first thought is to panic, but instead you're annoyed. you dial him again, but it rings until you are greeted by his voicemail.

"uh, call me back ricciardo. its not polite to hang up on your girlfriend after she tells you she's on her period."

its radio silent for almost an hour. the next time you hear from your boyfriend is when he's walking through your door with a wide grin on his face. he has a couple of bags in hand, and he sets them down on the coffee table.

Sexuality Headcanon: Not sure if there's a label for this (.......demi?), but Hiyoko seems like the type who latches onto a single person at a time, if at all. She won't consciously look for a girl or guy, may not even say someone's attractive if randomly asked, but when someone's got it, she's hooked.

Gender Headcanon: I believe that some people are only passively cisgender, meaning they've never actually ruminated on their identity and considered that they might be something else, and that trans people would be less rare (if still in a very small minority) if more people did. My hc is that Hiyoko's passively cis in SDR2, and that if she grows up, gets more exposure to the idea, and opens her mind enough to question herself, she might enjoy life as a more androgynous person ... Whoa, I just projected myself onto Hiyoko.

A ship I have with said character: I know you love hiyobuki, zombyne, and I'll never take that away from you. That said, I'm basic, so I'll go with mahiyoko for this post. What does Hiyoko like about Mahiru? She's a cute redhead who takes no crap when people fail to meet her high standards, a sweet girl who'll willingly shower with a near-total stranger in a killing game, a true friend who even helps her with her own clothes. What does Mahiru like about Hiyoko (arguably the real question)? I enjoy the notion that Mahiru's more amused by Hiyoko's antics than she lets on. Don't forget, she also has a low opinion of Mikan - not as much as Hiyoko, but not enough to defend her from what are obviously unserious insults. When you're always the serious one, it's nice to let your hair down around someone. I also like the idea that Mahiru loses her goddamn lesbian mind when Hiyoko comes back from summer break taller than her.

A BROTP I have with said character: And this is where I'll talk about Ibuki! Forget the Twilight Syndrome stuff (the writers of SDR2 sure did!). Just look at their interactions! When Hiyoko basically tries Ibuki's whole life in the first trial, Ibuki shouts in amusement something like "You've pierced me with your arrow of truth!" She either knows this girl isn't serious, or she doesn't care if she is. Then the only person in the whole goddamn group who likes Ibuki's music is the most annoying bully in the bunch. That's a terrific joke that works perfectly for Hiyoko as a character. Of course the Ultimate Traditional Dancer, who likely grew up sheltered in one of those homes where modern pop is forbidden and Harry Potter is considered Satanist, would have her mind blown by Ibuki's metal freakouts. Hiyobuki as a ship is great, but even just being besties is awesome for them ... though I think they could also enable each other in just being so mean to people lol

A NOTP I have with said character: I don't have many NOTPs in general ... but I can safely rule out Teruteru after that scene in DR3. Yiiikes.

A random headcanon: Hiyoko was perfectly capable of tying her obi on her own. C'mon, she's not that childish. Occam's Razor would dictate that things went exactly as stated in the game's dialogue ... but what if Hiyoko just neglected showering altogether because she's depressed? You know, cuz she's in a goddamn killing game with a dozen-odd total strangers? Then the one person she likes and kinda trusts offers to join her in the shower and suddenly this obi thing goes from an excuse to an opportunity. When Mahiru dies, though, Hiyoko's shattered, and that comes out in her newfound inability to properly dress herself. This manifestation of her grief gets so bad that it ultimately kills her. What a tragedy: opening up to another person leaves her totally helpless against the person she dismissed as the weakest in the group. There's a fanfic in this ...

General Opinion over said character: No one needs to like Hiyoko for whatever reason. That said, the most common reason I've observed in the haters is that they wouldn't want to be friends with her in real life. In my opinion, that's an extremely boring way of looking at fictional characters - it's not like they'll ever like us back, right? Might as well enjoy Hiyoko for playing a highly important role in the SDR2 ecosystem: the mixer! It's boring if everyone's all nice and stuff. Besides, Hiyoko's no simple bully, nor is she a lost cause. Like any Danganronpa character, the girl has her own hidden depths that make her more compelling than the haters might expect. I'd elaborate ... but anyone interested should reach out to zombyne, or the many other cool people I've met who enjoy Hiyoko as a character.

Which is your fav dub voice for Ibuki? Or do you have a different hc voice you prefer?

I honestly really prefer her DR3 dub voice. There is something a little off to me about her SDR2 voice, and I think it has contributed to the very very bad fandom uwuification of her. However, when I imagine her voice in my head, it meets somewhere in the middle between the two.

Absolutely!!! Perfect timing, lmao, I just wanted to start sketching some of my tgirl headcanons. From the first game, I would say an obvious one is Chihiro. I know it's a taboo in the fandom to hc her as a trans girl, but I think realistically speaking, it just makes sense. Imagine you're a closeted, passing trans girl, locked in a murder game, constantly misgendered by being forced into male lockers and male bathrooms. Imagine you get threatened with someone revealing your secret, and you live in a country like Japan where being trans just isn't common and is still very frowned upon, and trans people get sterilized after SRS. It would break anyone lol, so I wouldn't be surprised if she felt the need to detrans for safety. It's realistic and it's sad enough. I think her dad knew, and he was supportive, but she was scared to have anyone else know at all. As much as we can hc danganronpa characters as extremely accepting and cool, it's worth mentioning this is still 2010s Japan.

In the second game, I hc Mahiru as trans before the game. I think her complex relationship with femininity and womanhood is very interesting from the lens of a trans woman. She's a trans girl who was extremely close to her mother and not at all to her father, like a lot of tgirls, and she feels like she has to uphold a standard of gender for the sake of validity. I also hc Kazuichi as a tgirl but I think she hasn't come to terms with it yet. I think she doesn't even like Sonia as a crush, but moreso as a "goal". I mean, think about it. What's more feminine than princesses? I do also ship Mahiru and Kazuichi so I think they help each other out. Mahiru helps her gf pick out clothes, style her hair, put on makeup, act more girly. They help each other with tge E shots hehe.

As for DR3, I haven't finished it just yet, but I already have 3 trans headcanons (ig the despair mfs know that transsexuals make good TV). As of right now, it's Shuichi, who's such an obvious trans boy. He's my only tboy hc at the moment, too, hm. I think everything from his japanese voice to his way of dressing up to him wearing a hat to hide his features gives very tboy. Then Kokichi. Idk she gives mean doll to me. You know the super instigating dolls that love fights? That. And the last one is Korekiyo, but I still have to think about that one because as aforementioned, I haven't finished the game yet, so I don't know enough about Korekiyo to know if this hc will survive. I think her obsession with the occult is very trans coded, what with transnes and feeling unnatural in society. Something something transness is divinity.
