How much of the demo has been written, and what is all planned to be in the demo?

How much of the demo is written a bit of a hard question to answer, honestly 😂

Technically, I used to have like 60k written already, but most of it has been scrapped because I reworked pretty much the entire plot (even changed most of the main characters/ROs) because I felt my original idea was very formulaic.

So the answer I can give to that is that I'm hoping I'll have the prologue out before I go back to work (in about a month), which will be about 15-20k - though I will say I'm not terribly good at calculating how long I think my writing is going to be, and I'm still new to writing IFs.

As for what is planned to be in the demo... I want you all to be able to actually (physically) meet The Unknown One in the demo, and that is very far ahead into the first book, as in somewhere in the second half.

So rather than writing everything up to that point and then releasing it, I'm going to release it as I'm writing. If that means monthly updates or if I release once a chapter is finished, I'm not going to say yet. Since I'm currently able to write 24/7, but will have less time to write when the schools start up again and I go back to work, I'm waiting to see how balancing writing with my job will go.

So, very vague answers, but hopefully you got some of the answers you wanted? 😊

I've actually been debating this. Bit of a life update: I just got hired at a new job yesterday, plus I'm a student and one of the classes I'm in rn has a higher workload than I'd anticipated. Realistically, I don't expect to be able to get as far as I'd originally planned by July 1st—since real life has to come first—but I might put out some update on the 1st or, who knows?, maybe I'll get it done in time. For me, I feel it's more important to put out work that's finished and that I feel really proud of rather than putting stuff out just to release it.

So, TLDR, maybe? (but realistically, I probably won't be able to complete what I'd intended on finishing by July 1st because of these recent life developments)
