it is too early in the morning for me to fully process this but the general vibe I'm getting is you think I said christens in general on my DNI list. I specified aggressive due to religious trauma. I'm also not an atheist, I fall somewhere under the pagen area. if you or I misunderstood something that's completely fine, but if I am correct please do not bully people for having different opinions. if I read something wrong feel free to explain.

i think possibly the funniest part of getting a wild and stupid christian copypasta is that i already go to church sometimes. not preaching to the choir, or preaching to the converted, but a secret third thing (annoying the guy with one foot in the door)
#ask box#Anonymous#i can only find one other person who's received this ask which is weird but hey#why not be the first or second person at the start of a copypasta chain. i guess

Research findings show 90% of Americans believe they show the kind of love in life, that if everybody showed, would make Society all right. Yet Psychologists say no one is ever healed because we are constantly being damaged by others.
Even Brain Surgeons have noted the brain surprisingly does not feel pain & Dr. Wilder Penfield said no matter what he did, he could never cut-out enough of a person's brain to remove their personality. [Michael Egnor: Evidence Against Materialism]
Saying this shows there is something untouchable beyond the physical realm, the thing David Attenborough says is why he remains agnostic because he's seen blind termites incapable of detecting his presence & so he wonders if we have the same lack of sense perception to detect GOD. The Bible says we know GOD exists, & every time we fail in life is one step closer to meeting our MAKER voluntarily or literally.

Dr. Clarence Sumner Greene DDS (December 26, 1901 - 1957) was the first board-certified African American Neurosurgeon in the US. He was born in DC. He moved to New York briefly when his mother remarried but soon returned to DC to live with an aunt. He thrived there, academically and athletically. He attended Dunbar High School. During high school, he was given the nickname, “Bronze Adonis” by his classmate, Charles Drew.
He entered the University of Pennsylvania majoring in dentistry. He graduated with a DDS and practiced dentistry for a year. He enrolled in a pre-med program at Harvard University. He completed an internship at Cleveland City Hospital. He enrolled at Howard University Medical School where he graduated with a MD. He completed a surgery residency rotation under his childhood friend, Dr. Charles Drew. He worked as a professor of surgery at Howard University Medical School.
In 1946, he had the good fortune to train with renowned surgeon Dr. Wilder Penfield at the Montreal Neurological Institute. In 1953 he became the first person of African descent to become certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He would go on to serve as the Chair of Neurosurgery at Howard University. He completed numerous surgeries related to intracranial aneurysms, brain tumors, and herniated intervertebral discs.
His son Charles Greene, Jr would follow in his footsteps becoming a successful pediatric neurosurgeon.
His diligence and perseverance enabled him to overcome incredible odds to become the first African American neurosurgeon, trained by Dr. Penfield at the Montreal Neurological Institute.
A true pioneer, his achievements have opened the door for subsequent African Americans to enhance the field of neurosurgery. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

So the Hannibrainworms have led me down the rabbithole of reading about the origin of the concept of “psychic driving”, and jesus h. christ on a triscuit… comparing Frederick Chiton to the person who developed the methods Chilton practices (Donald Ewen Cameron) is like comparing Succession’s real-eldest-boy vanity presidential candidate Connor Roy to habitual wildlife corpse-disrespecter RFK Jr.
Like. You watch the show, and you think:
“Wow, this feels slightly overdone; no one is this obviously slimy and unethical [Chilton] / naïvely entitled and obviously unqualified [Connor Roy].”
…and then the somehow-even-more-intense reality hits you like a whale carcass sliding off the roof of a speeding minivan.
Like. Look at this shit:
(…or maybe don’t - cw for fascism and severe ableism)
Cameron started to distinguish populations between "the weak" and "the strong". Those with anxieties or insecurities and who had trouble with the state of the world were labelled as "the weak"; in Cameron's analysis, they could not cope with life and had to be isolated from society by "the strong". The mentally ill were thus labelled as not only sick, but also weak. Cameron further argued that "the weak" must not influence children. He promoted a philosophy where chaos could be prevented by removing the weak from society.

I thought the most sinister thing about Montreal was the omnipresent sketchy-ass concrete infrastructure, or the mafia, or the bikers, or maybe that guy who forever attached an unwelcome asterisk to the New Order song “True Faith”.
But no. It’s this fucking guy. Donald Ewen Cameron.
…who, btw, was invited to work at McGill by Dr. Burnt Toast himself, Walter Wilder Penfield.
