Today OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS BC wrote...

Wordcount: 1769 words

What I wrote: About 1.2k of the words is for my TF2 fic, while the rest is notes. I've managed to get a lot more stuff solidified.

Today SEVERAL DAYS AGO BC drew...

...the outline for my Psychonauts fic cover!! Getting back into art has been hard but I'm really glad I'm finally getting somewhere. Once I get the cover for this fic done, I just need to edit it a bit and then it'll be good to post. I'm sorry this has been taking me so long.

He's missing some things,I still need to go back and finish texturing his arm and add in the psitanium. Maybe mess with the weight painting and see if I can get him just a SMIDGE more expressive.

It took me embarrassingly long to realize that Chloe would be the kid left at camp Loboto talks about before he escapes, but I also kind of love the idea of "Rhombus of ruin and Psychonauts 2, but also there's a child just....present" Caligosto doing his whole evil thing and Chloe just sits in the background drinking a juice box while all the Agents present just share looks among each other like "Uh, now we don't have time to unpack this." Sasha not really knowing what the hell he is supposed to tell the kid that they just had to take with them to headquarters so he reassures her he's not going to hurt her dad and just gently shoos her out and Milla trying to get her as comfortable at the Motherlobe as possible given the circumstances. Chloe meeting the Interns and ironically they all immediatly LOVE her, which just fuels their distaste for Raz when he tries to introduce her with " Oh, she's just a friend from camp. She is kind of weird and thinks she's an alien-" horrified gasps from the interns, Norma feeling a genuine emotion for once in her life : "HOW DARE YOU TALK LIKE THIS ABOUT CHLOE?" Sam gently rubbing Chloe's back going "Dont be sad Chloe, he's just a real JERK."

1. Raz, tied to the chair: Oh my god, there's Truman! I see him--

*that loud sound you get when you're sucking the final dregs of a drink through a straw*

*camera slowly pans left*

Chloe, sitting on a ledge, kicking her legs casually: Hey.

WAIT CHLOE GOING INTO LOBOTO'S MIND FOR THE MISSION!!! She insists because she wants to make sure they don't hurt her dad. Sasha has to add 'bring your child to work' day posters everywhere to explain it

...oof making it sad, Chloe sees that final cutscene and hey is there anything more terrifying to a small child than seeing grown ups terrified???

[Chloe finds out about what Gristol did, makes her way to the motherlobe, breaks down the psychoisolation chamber door and force chokes Gristol until someone manages to stop her]

[Nobody hurts her human dad. Nobody.]

[When her parents get here, she will have them abduct Gristol and take him to the home planet. And that is a threat, not a promise.]

2. ok but the glitch where you can hear Sasha and Loboto talking in Milla's office... Milla is trying to reassure Chloe that everything is fine darling, we're trying to help your father, we won't hurt him we promise

Sasha: MAYBE IF I TURN THE SAFETY OFF?

Milla, psychically: Sasha darling if you don't keep your voice down this child will have a meltdown and then I will kill you myself

3. interns: I've only had Chloe for ten minutes but if anything happened to her I would kill everyone in the Motherlobe and then myself.

I don't think the interns have a distaste for Raz specifically (aside from Norma, who thinks he's the mole), Adam even apologizes for the hazing and says "you're one of us now". BUT they don't make Chloe go through the hazing (they claim it's because she's not an intern, she's just visiting, but we all know even if she was, they'd never do it)

Gisu teaches her how to skateboard. Adam teaches her how to yoyo (and lets her ride on his shoulders; 'she likes to be tall'). Chloe is literally Loboto's child but Normal vehemently refuses to even consider that she might be the mole. Sam wants to teach her how to make pancakes. Morris lets her be a guest DJ on the show. Lizzie gets her stickers for her helmet. Congrats Chloe you now have six older siblings.
