nadia and habit will never not be brain rot for me. the way nadia survives all his shit, outlived everyone, to think she survived and would get to live semi-peacefully.

only to have habit show up at her door, inhabiting some other poor soul, three years later, that stupid grin on his face.

“you miss me?”

the way she outlived everyone left her absolutely traumatized. she outlived alex + jeff, steph + leni, vince and evan. but to have habit show up a few years later out of the blue while everything was calm? she thought it was finally the end for her; that everything was catching up to her and it was her turn.

BUT FOR THEM TO BE ON THE SAME SIDE? AFTER ALL THAT HABIT DID? corenthal thinks nadia’s lost it for real this time. the phone call he received from her the night after habit showed back up led to him flying back across the country.

“he’s back.”

“who’s back, kid?”

“take a fucking guess, james.”

“he can’t be, vincent killed h-“

“well, explain the man with purple eyes standing in my kitchen right now.”

“i’ll be there in the morning, i’m on the next flight to jersey.”

nadia is up the entire night, her guard up more than ever as habit goes on and on. he goes on about how hellish the last couple years had been, how he’d been trying to find new, reliable and compliant hosts. it was near four in the morning when corenthal got there. for habit to be back, it meant everything else would be coming back too. stick in the mud, the rake.

NOTES : leni is an oc of mine, she is stephanie’s sister. this is an au of mine, post emh. corenthal is in it and habit comes back in it. nadia is my oc as well, she may be my favorite oc.

“Shit!”

Showbit was… Not in a good spot right now. He’d been ripping live footage from this amazing death maze someone was running, broadcasting it on Traumathon with commentary from himself and his Jane Doe of the week, only for him to get dragged into the death maze. This was bad. Real bad.

This is a death maze full of other Habits, and he is woefully unprepared for it. Without Slashley, he’s almost completely defenseless. No fangs, no claws, no ability to shapeshift, the only thing he can hope helps is his beloved insects, and how useful are they gonna be against a Habit with all the usual bodily weaponry?

So, he does what he does best; Bullshit everyone.

And it worked! Well, for a little while.

He made it decently far into the death maze, using his status and threats of fates worse than death to get a group of weaker Habits working for him, but his whole ruse got dismantled by a single voice chatting lightly over the intercoms in the maze. A voice he hated.

“Showbit, it’s not nice to lie to the other contestants.”

Son of a bitch!

Having a group of Habits turn to him, a single silent question shared between them made his blood run cold. He didn’t even get to defend himself before the Doctor spilled the beans.

“Why are you working with them if you’re so untouchable, superstar? Or… Maybe someone already got this scared little kitty cat declawed?”

“Shut the fuck up!”

He screeched, ducking and diving when the weaker Habits he’d been using turned to attack him instead of some stupid Rabbit in the maze, scrambling down one of the long, twisting hallways. God dammit! This is why he can’t have nice things, someone always has to go and spoil the fun! Rounding a corner, he was met with a Habit he wasn’t all too fond of.

“Ah- H-Hey there Northstar, how's it hanging?”

Okay, so. Last night, I had a dream that I was a cis man (25 ish) and a member of the Order and I was trying to assassinate someone (I think?) And Dr. James Corenthal was like "don't do that hey listen if you stop trying to commit crimes we can go back to my fancy house and hook up" and I was like "oh hell yeah" And I'm pretty sure at one point I said "I'm gonna suck you dry like a juice box" and also "give me your old rich doctor splooge" SO YEAH THAT WAS...
