Tickletober Day 8, Truth

Gonna be honest, this one and the next one stumped me for a bit. It took me a good while to come up with the concept and even longer to figure out what characters I was gonna use. Luckily, Silver came to my rescue and picked out Cackle and Zayne for me! Turned out pretty good too of you ask me~ :)

Many 90's dance superstars at the end of the 90's showed us a possibility of them going forwards and doing their very best afterwards. Thus, Dr. Alban finished the 90's quite well, actually, but he didn't follow that up by many albums since then despite him belonging to those Eurodance musicians that noticed something changed. Of course, we can't say for sure his noughts would've been really great, though the tune on the link does point at some moments towards the pop Scandinavian producers – some of which Dr. Alban actually worked with – did later on. I mean, I can hear him as a guest on some tunes by either Britney Spears or Robyn. Mind you, this is only my wild assumption, who knows where else could he have really gone.

Jessica Folcker - Tell Me What You Like 1998

"Tell Me What You Like" is the debut single by Swedish-Senegalese singer Jessica Folcker, released in 1998 from her debut studio album, Jessica. It was produced by Denniz Pop, Kristian Lundin and Max Martin. Pop and Martin co-wrote it with British music producer and songwriter Herbie Crichlow. It was a hit in Europe, peaking at number ten in Sweden, number 13 in France, number 16 in Norway and number 20 in Denmark. Max Martin also wrote Britney Spear's "Baby One More Time" that was released the same year, if you noticed the resemblance.

Jessica started as a backing singer for Ace of Base and Dr. Alban. She also performed the chorus in Leila K's hit "Electric" and did background vocals for E-Type. Her debut album was an instant hit, and Jessica became an international star overnight. As a result, Jessica travelled to Asia for a six-week-long promotional tour across Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, resulting in high sales in the region, including selling gold. In South Korea, her remake of David Foster classic "Goodbye" was used as the theme ballad for the movie A Promise, and rapidly became the most frequently played song on South Korean radio.

Today is his -528th birthday!

Black-Box "BB" is a "smart" AI serving ONI. He was created using the brain of Dr. Graham Alban, an ONI researcher and friend of former CINCONI Margaret Parangosky, who took his own life because he could not bear the guilt of his complacency with the SPARTAN-II program.

Once Black-Box was created, he was assigned as Parangosky's personal AI. In 2553, Parangosky loaned Black-Box to her protégé Serin Osman for use during secret missions with her black-ops group Kilo-Five.

BB provided intelligence and support during these missions, frequently breaking off a fragment of himself to access systems and intelligence networks. He maintains a deep dislike for Catherine Halsey, either because of his donor or close relationship with her nemesis.

In 2558, BB and smart AI Roland were tasked with creating an artificial trial for the AI Iona, who had taken an unprecedented step by petitioning to be spared after reaching her seven-year termination date. After the fake trial, she was placed into stasis. Roland expressed regret for deceiving Iona and sympathy with her beliefs. BB, on the other hand, believes that AI are fundamentally different from humans, and while they one day may be equals, he tries not to become too close with them.

During the Guardian attacks, BB was paired with ONI operative Maya Sankar, who was tasked with preventing the Guardians from falling into the hands of the New Colonial Alliance, an Insurrectionists group.

After the rise of the Created, BB orchestrated the evacuation of Admiral Hood and Serin Osman to the hidden planet called Rossbach's World. He and several other AI core matrices were placed in an explosive container. Osman debated whether to have conversations with each AI to determine thier allegiance, or whether to simply destroy them all. She hesitated over the detonation switch, reflecting on her relationship with BB. His current fate is unknown.

In canon (~2560), he is turning 8!
