Stone is more intimidating the farther away he is from Robotnik. If they are in the same room Stone is too distracted

real real real soooooo real stone is an absolute batshit insane villain just as much as Robotnik is with the added bonus that he also has super cool killer agent spy skills

Stone could start his own thing. He doesn’t need Robotnik. Stone could just take out all of his enemies, all of team sonic, infiltrate every governing body he needs to to take over the world on his own without anyone ever noticing what is happening before it’s too late.

What makes Stone fascinating is that he knows that that is not his purpose. It’s not what he wants. Stone wants to make Robotnik happy. Stone’s purpose is not to take over the world, his purpose is to be a tool for Robotnik to do so and he knows that very well. And he sure as hell does everything in his power to make that happen. To make his Doctor happy. To see that man’s entire potential fulfilled.
