(Gary anon) And FMA is timeless, which works in its favor. Can't say the same for certain other series that are products of their time. (They do, but it seems most have collectively agree to pretend the photos 'don't exist'. Toby is a dog, and only a dog) Yeah, at least these days there's more tools and platforms where they can make a name for themselves or go in and out of small group projects more easily. (Art is meant to be fun and a way to express)
.
(Part 2) (Whether you want to make money off of it or not is up to the person) Old internet felt like you had 1000 sites to explore and get lost in. Now everything has 'diminished' to roughly 10. No way would I go back to waiting 5 minutes for a page to load, but in hindsight, the increased popularity of a site always seems to come back to eventually work against it. (And meme potential. Ultra Instinct Shaggy alongside Batman is finally a reality)
(Part 3) I think I mentioned it before, but if you're curious, there's a compilation of all of Gary's OS scenes on Nicovideo. There's one for his *Chronicles episode and a AG-DP one too. (*And yes, the scene where Oak mentions Ash to Gary also has the music different. :P No wonder Palletshipping was more popular in Japan: nico vide o . j p / watch / sm309 54797) Mmm, here's hoping. With the limited time we have left for JN.
(Part 4) (If it makes you feels better, while I did catch the day it happened, I did miss out on seeing it live. Apparently it was already spoiled beforehand) Now I'm making sure I stick around for this one, hopefully that battle lives up to its potential like other final battles. (Yes, the PWC battles resumes on July 8th)
(Part 5) Oh, in Pokemon Masters news: It seems an[other] Anipoke character is destined to join the game, based on a datamine. All I will say, it'll certainly be an interesting piece of lore if they and a certain other character were to meet.
Yeah, FMA has aged really well.
Yeah. What a life to have honestly--it's similar to how Hiromu Arakawa, despite having created such an iconic and beloved manga, manages to keep her life so private we pretty much only know her as the cow she draws herself as.
True! And indie games have been getting more attention in recent years.
For sure. What people do with their art is very much a personal choice because art is such a personal thing.
Oh yeah, how could I forget about that! Incredible.
Ooh, I will definitely take a look at that later!! Thanks for the link!!
Yeah, here's hoping!
Unfortunate... Pokemon Twitter has at least gotten a little better about not posting untagged spoilers the day an episode airs.
Yeah, hopefully it's as good as it can be! Very excited to root for my boy.
Oh, that should be interesting! Exciting stuff!

I’m excited to announce that I have a poem in Heartwood: Poems for the Love of Tress, an anthology published by @canadianpoets. The collection is a tribute to the timeless impact of nature on Canadian poetry. My piece’s inspiration comes from a painting by Beaver Hall Group member, Anne Savage. The poem is from my manuscript-in-progress about Savage’s life and art. Purchase the book at the following link here: (https://www.amazon.ca/Heartwood-Poems-Trees-Lesley-Strutt/dp/189621651X) and temporarily in my bio. Stay tuned to the League’s social media to find out about a Heartwood launch near you. . . . #gregsantos #poetry #poetsofinstagram #leagueofcanadianpoets #poetryanthology #trees #nature #canada #poetrycommunity #writingcommunity #annesavage #beaverhallgroup #canadianart #HeartwoodPoet #LCPHeartwood

Economical Art Can Be Easier To Come By Than You Realise
Of course, there are many other kinds of economical art. If you are in love with a particular piece of classical art work, however are disappointed with the quality of the art prints that you have actually looked at, you can often find totally painted reproduction. That way, you can have a timeless work of art in your own home. When I am looking for economical art, the very first place I stop is the regional art fair. Numerous of these people are just starting their careers as artists, so there is no much better method to discover a piece of budget-friendly art. If you want budget friendly art, there is no much better location to start to look for it. If you are in love with a specific piece of classical art work, but are disappointed with the quality of the art prints that you have actually looked at, you can frequently find completely painted reproduction. When I am looking for budget friendly art, the first location I stop is the regional art fair. Numerous of these individuals are just starting their careers as artists, so there is no better method to discover a piece of inexpensive art. These can be very complimentary to any art work you paint yourself. Many purists may challenge you, why not paint a famous landscape painting. Until you have a go you may never know! Wherever you live, but especially if it is in a beautifully scenic region of France, Italy, or Spain, why not paint your own countryside painting, or copy your favourite masterpiece from one the masters of the genre like Vermeer or maybe slightly less well known Thomas Cole. Incredibly on the net painters can simply pick up all the art supplies you need from artist paint brushes to oils and canvases and be ready to express yourself within days. And, also on YouTube you can find art classes where you can follow along and pause at your own pace as they emulate the stlye of a classic landscape painter's work. Nathalie Novi is of Italian origin but lives in France. Her early childhood took place in Constantine, Algeria where she was surrounded by her sisters and lots of books. It was at the age of nine that she decided to be a painter.
In 1987, she graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris where she exhibist her pastels and engravings. She also has exhibition in other cities around France and countries around Europe. Her work on the timeless theme of childhood brings her naturally to children’s books and characters and books from her childhood. She was awarded a CNL creation grant, which allowed her to work on her project about Jane Austen’s novels – Le musée imaginaire de Jane Austen – which will be published by Albin Michel Jeunesse on November 2, 2017. The premise of the book is as follows (text from Amazon France loosely translated by me).
Once upon a time in a magical place called Pemberley, an imaginary museum dedicated to Jane Austen opens its doors for the first time … Visitors from different countries and times, flock to the first room where they are greeted by Elisabeth Bennett, the heroine of the novel Pride and Prejudice. She will guide them through the museum pieces, one for each novel: Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion.
The short texts of Fabrice Colin allow a sensitive immersion in the literary world of Jane Austen. The richly illustrated pages alternate different approaches to his work: iconic key scenes of novels (ballroom, wedding, meetings), scenes of British society at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, romantic landscapes, portrait galleries on upholstered backgrounds. Throughout her allegorical compositions, Nathalie Novi mixes techniques – acrylic painting on cardboard, ink wash, sketch with pen on old paper – to deliver a beautiful and unique work.
I asked Nathalie to tell us about this project and her story with Jane Austen. We all have a story, how everything started. I think nobody forgets the first time they read Pride and Prejudice, for example. Being an illustrator since she was so young I wanted to know how this whole project started and here she shares this with us in her own words:
“The first time I read a novel of Jane Austen , I had the feeling that I had come from the same family of her heroins. I have four sisters, and , except the search of husbands(!) of course, it was quite similar : many dreams, ideas, and lots of laughter… each of us had her own identity, we loved books very much and we created stories all together. Once I discovered the rest of Jane Austen novels, it was an evident, I was one of her characters! As I’m a painter, I dreamed of honoring her with my art, and now it s done! With my “Imaginary Museum of Jane Austen” I create a place (in Pemberley) where we can walk through her six principals novels. I create a mixed between a contemporary public, literary celebrities (like Virginia Woolf, Emma Thompson, and also Queen Elisabeth II), her heroes, the landscapes, the houses which are so important and even some surrealistic objects. The writer, Fabrice Colin and I tried to highlight her wit and humor and her marvelous way of conveying feelings. Her stories are not very descriptive which is a wonderful thing for a painter because everything can be imagined.
I have made about 150 drawings and paintings for this book. It is intended for everybody, teenagers and adults, of course, Jane Austen lovers, but also those who have not yet read her novels… because Jane Austen is universal. Thank you so much! This book is published in French for the moment but we hope to find an English publisher soon.”
The book can be pre-order on Amazon France. More details on the link below:

Bonus feature:
In 2008, Philippe Thomine made a 26-minute documentary film about her work: “Nathalie Novi, on the other side of the mirror” (see link below). The short movie is in French but you can see a little bit of her world and share her passion.
