"hey man, i'm not judging." his tone amused. holding up his own drink while having two untouched drinks in front of him. "cheers!" he laughed before taking a drink. "wanna join me? since my friends suck and whomever was supposed to meet up with you clearly does as well." he offered with a friendly smile. "you know me, i'm all about making the most of every situation." he stated with a shrug.

"What?" Catalina asked, before her eyes flicked to the two glasses, one in each hand. She'd been drinking out of both of them, the flavours going together fairly nicely. "Oh, these? I got stood up. They told me on the app what they liked, so I went ahead and ordered, but they never showed. At least they had decent taste in booze, or this wouldn't be going anywhere near as well," she said, a smile on her face despite the completely monotone voice she was using.

So those of you who follow me know that I headcanon Eugene becoming an author post series. And for today’s prompt I wanted to do something with that and it finally hit me.

One of Eugene’s most common things to do in his books is to just insert him And Rapunzel (and their friends of course) in different random fairytales and give it a twist so the story fits their personalities. One of his most popular ones was “SnowPunzel”. Rapunzel was in Snow White’s place (naturally), Eugene was in the prince’s as Prince Rider, Gothel was the Evil Queen, Weasel was the Huntsman, and Cass, Lance, Varian, Angry, and Catalina were the dwarves.

The dashing devil may care prince Rider found the lovely Snowpunzel singing by the royal well to her pet frog on the Festival of Lanterns, and they lifted two of their own into the sky to celebrate their new love. The Evil Queen found out about their secret romance and ordered her huntsman to have Snowpunzel killed. But the Huntsman couldn’t succeed, for Snowpunzel’s golden locks were indestructible. Luckily this gave Snowpunzel enough time to run away and led by some forest friends (Ruddiger and the DP palace pets) she happened upon a cottage inhabited by a venomous cobra woman, a werewolf and her cranky sister, an alchemist, and the second most handsome thief in the world. And there Snowpunzel resided for many months, grateful for her new home and new friends. However misfortune had fallen the prince for the Evil Queen had imprisoned him in her dungeon. But with the help of his raven Hamuel and Snowpunzel’s frog Prince Rider escaped and stole the Queen’s prized horse Maximus in search for his love! Unfortunately the Queen had finally gotten word that Snowpunzel was alive, and in a furious rage killed her huntsman. Once she settled down, she formulated a plan. Once Snowpunzel was all alone in the cottage, the Queen came to her disguised as an old hag and convinced her to take a bite of a wishing apple. Little did poor Snowpunzel know that the apple was poisoned with a sleeping curse, and she fainted as soon as she swallowed the first bite. Her human friends were griefstricken when they found her, and in their grief sought out the evil queen and killed her in revenge. Once their Snowpunzel had been avenged, they returned home and laid her in bed ready to bury her the following morning. However, the next morning next morning with the dawn brought none other than Prince Rider himself!! He was heartbroken to find his Snowpunzel so cold and lifeless, and held her in his arms and gave her a kiss farewell. But then…she opened her eyes! True love’s kiss had broken Snowpunzel from their slumber! Prince Rider and Snowpunzel rejoiced with their friends, dancing and singing and feasting for an entire week. Once the celebration was over, Prince Rider let them all move to his kingdom, married Snowpunzel, and they all lived happily ever after.

My Review: This is the third novels in this entertaining series, and it can be read as a stand-alone as there’s a lot of backstory, you will surely want to read the previous novels and I guarantee they’re as likeable as this one. I found the Santa Fe setting intriguing as there’s a lot of info about the history, the places, and the people. There’s a mix of historical and fictional characters and the mix works well. If you want to learn more about the Fiesta or the artists there’s a bibliography at the end of the book. I enjoyed this book as I like Maddie and the cast of characters, there’s a lot of world building and we are introduced to the characters, their relationship, and the atmosphere of the city before the Fiesta. I enjoyed this part, but I think that some less details would have helped and start the proper mystery part sooner. The mystery is solid, twisty, and full of surprises. I couldn’t guess the culprit and enjoyed the storytelling and the story. This is a lovely series, and this is the best instalment so far. I read it as fast as I could, and I can’t wait to read the next story as there could be some big news. UFOS OVER LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Located in southern California, the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the third busiest airport in the world. Millions of people from all across the planet travel to and from the airport each year. But it's not only people who are visiting LAX, aliens are too! UFOs are being seen here in large numbers!

In fact, airports all over the world are being targeted by UFOs. For some reason, the ETs are attracted to airports. And more than any other airport, LAX is a UFO magnet. There are at least a dozen cases of UFOs hovering over Los Angeles International Airport. These cases began in the early 1950s and are continuing to the present day. These are not distant sightings of unexplained lights in the sky, but often structured metallic craft seen at low elevation for long periods of time.  

Metallic discs, cigar-shaped craft, triangular craft, spherical craft, all have been seen directly over LAX. Many of these are daylight sightings. They not only move directly over the airport; they display fantastic maneuvers and will even hover in place within full view of the airport control tower.  

LAX is located in a densely populated urban area. Many of these sightings involve large numbers of witnesses. These UFOs have been viewed by air-traffic controllers, pilots, baggage handlers, airport employees and numerous other people who live nearby. The objects have been caught on radar and even photographed. The cases themselves occur with incredible regularity and have often made newspaper and television headlines. Due to the brazen behavior of these objects, it is clear that they want to be seen and are intentionally showing themselves to people. The question is, why? Is there an agenda behind these sightings? Are ETs putting on a display to announce their presence? Why is it that LAX is such a powerful magnet of UFO activity?  

This video presents a decades-long chronology of the UFO activity over one of the busiest airports on the planet, and it also reveals interesting insights about UFO behavior. The UFO activity over LAX is so intense that it proves that UFOs do, in fact, have an agenda to show themselves, apparently to convince people of the existence of UFOs.

Which BIOS should I have? UEFI bios, Legacy might not work.

What is the size of your ESP? You need to have an ESP of at least 200MB size.

Specs of your processor. Your processor needs to support SSE 4.1.

Which partiton style are you using? You need to have GPT.

After that you can start the process, but make sure you check these four important steps mentioned above before getting so far:

Increasing the size of EFI partition is really important. by default, windows has an ESP (EFI SYSTEM PARTITION) of 100MBs, whereas disk utility requires you to have at least 200MBs of ESP. So if you will not increase the size, then Disk Utility will raise an error MEDIAKIT REPORTS NOT ENOUGH STORAGE FOR CURRENT OPERATION, and it will damage your ESP and you will not be able to boot back into windows until you repair the ESP.

So, after doing these processes, its time for downloading!

CASTLEVANIA COD PLAYTHROUGH PART THE THREE

I finally noticed the opening fmv if you sit at the menu and it is very dramatic - but then again you probably don’t get to work for Dracula if you can’t brood in violent thunderstorms or hang out on top of cathedrals sufficiently.

We pick back up in the mountains:

There’s no secret area behind this waterfall so I just went swimming with Dank for a bit instead. 

Soon after I realized that to open every single chest in this game I have to stop and summon Puck bc of course.

Puck healed me on the way back to wherever they go when I’m not using them like that’ll save him :P

(I’m sure I’ll bust out my pocket healer during boss fights later I’m just being mean)

I’m trying to mess with the leveling up and evolution of my demons, but it goes by what weapons you’re using while they’re active

So to get the evolution line I want I’m stuck using an ax right now I guess?

SECOND BOSS

I figured out how to steal and got some cake from this dragon? Wooo

Dank performed admirably but like all tanks with a terrible DPS teammate(me) he died fairly quickly but by then I needed the healing anyway so Puck it was

I enjoyed:

Riding on this dragon while stabbing it in the head

Hector’s ability to fall hundreds of feet and be totally fine

The next area is the Garibaldi Temple which - FUN FACT - is the name of this stupid looking fish I remember seeing a ton of around the Catalina islands. They have big chunky foreheads

Here’s the in game temple, no sign of patron saint fish.

 I really feel like you guys are missing out by not being able to hear this random all knowing southern gentlemen who just appeared

He asks Hector to stop chasing Isaac, and as usual Hector suspects every new person he meets of being in league with Isaac first off. But he puzzles it out a few seconds later;

OH REALLY?!

This dude says he knows far more than we can imagine and the fate of the world depends on Hector not going after Isaac for some reason.

aaand he disappears in a ball of light

What the actual fuck is going on now?

This encounter more than any dead gf backstory makes me really start to empathize with Hector’s general state of angry and confused.

On the Rosaly side of backstory this guy drops that she was falsely accused of witchcraft and that’s how she died. So not only are there an awful lot of dead wives in this series, but more than one killed over witchcraft accusations

This step isn’t as exciting as where he’s going but its a step in the right direction, also I can switch back to swords for a bit unless I want to level up Puck

while walking through this random temple Hector runs intooooo

NEVER FEAR TREVOR BELMONT IS HERE!!!!! 

(with some very luxurious hair)

This whole sequence is honestly amazing

First they just kind of shout past each other until deciding to fight to the death

Trevor sees Hector’s crest and assumes he’s Dracula’s forgemaster - which Hector doesn’t deny or try to explain that he’s not actually.

Although it does bring up the question of why he’s still wearing his old gear, its been like 3 years since he defected from Dracula’s army.

Hector notes Trevor’s whip and realizes he’s a Belmont, so there’s no reason for him to want to throw down with Trevor but he does anyway.

(I didn’t get any screenshots from this fight because I was GETTING MY ASS KICKED)

But it’s one of those unwinnable boss fights - not the kind you’re supposed to outright lose, you have to take down a bit of Trevor’s health to trigger the next cutscene.

OF NOTE

Trevor can light himself on fire to hurt you so I guess Sypha got around to teaching him some magic

Trevor throws Holy Water around which apparently hurts Hector? Not sure if that’s just a lazy game mechanic or secret lore about the cost of being a devil forgemaster (although it does answer my joke about why Hector didn’t just jump in the holy water in the show)

Trevor’s whip also lights up like a goddamn laser

all in all a good time was had.

After the fight the boys actually try talking again

Hector still refuses to try and explain he’s not Isaac.

I also can’t get over the fact that Trevor just busted into Hector’s game, beat the shit out of him, insulted him and all but took his lunch money. 

I can’t wait for season 3.

Trevor realizes Hector isn’t the forgemaster he’s looking for because he’s not enough of a challenge to fight and Hector’s just like ‘fair enough’

He certainly tries his best.

They take a few seconds to actually talk to each other and confirm identities after trying to murder each other:

They’re cool now. I think we’re working together. But I assume in the same way  as Alucard and Maria in SotN where we just bump into each every few hours and high five in the castle halls before running in opposite directions.

That’s a good stopping point - this game is ridiculous but now it’s getting fun

Trevor’s eyes seem to be kind of wonky in a lot of these shots

but then again it is his scarred up eye so maybe it’s messed up
