i wrote this weeks ago for fun but since fleetwood mac garcia got approval i'll send the whole thing (also totally agree that eliwood WOULD love the eagles. he’d play hotel california so much during road trips and roy hates him for it)

(playable) GBA FE Axe Dads Classified By The Type of Dad Music They'd Listen To:

Barte: Blue Öyster Cult. Barte is peak axe dad but there's no way in hell he'd actually like good music. (I say as I listen to ‘don't fear the reaper’)

Douglas: Not really dad music anymore but Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller. He'd say he likes jazz then listen to the most white boy jazz of all time. Also Micheal Bublé or Kenny G.

Hector: Hector is such a mess. He wouldn't even listen to music on purpose. If he did listen to music seriously he’d like Queen or maybe Spin Doctors? He’d like dad rock but not sure what brand.

Hawkeye: Steely Dan. He’s not a stoner but he is so clearly depressed and probably knows that Athos is a lying POS. His favorite Dan album would probably be Aja. caaaaall me deacon blues… [note or sth: can you tell what my favorite band is? lmao. /silly]

Garcia: Fleetwood Mac. ‘Dreams’ makes him cry. Ross would make fun of him for crying at the most dadcore band of all time and Garcia would sit him down and take thirty minutes telling Ross his entire life story (again) and how much the song resonates with him. Then Ross would feel really bad :]

Dozla: Weird Al and/or They Might Be Giants. Maybe Crash Test Dummies too? He seems like he’d sing ‘Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm’ under his breath subconsciously and it'd annoy the shit out of Rennac.

Overall, I’m happy that Gilliam and Vanessa are finally in! I honestly cannot remember Syrene for some reason though... maybe she was part of Ephraim’s route? Either that or I’m just the worst Sacred Stones fan.

Favorite Character (both as a unit and character): Myrrh

yeah yeah the overpowered dragon is my favorite unit what a shock. but also she's very sweet and kinda tragic and i think her story is endearing~

Favorite Character: Lute

Obviously. Cause she's perfect in every way. Everyone else needs to get on her level. She's just a bit slow in battle though :/ (maybe for me lol)

Favorite Units

Garcia as a Warrior is just super fun, so much attack, he pretty much kills everyone in one hit. And with access to bows he just has so much more utility. That's why he kept dying on the front lines :D Artur was just surprisingly useful n fun, moderately fast and strong so he would double and kill, helpful with clutch healing, took hits decently and could avoid too, just a well rounded boy

Least Favorite Character (as a unit and character): Rennac

He's a dick and I hate him Had to play that chapter over again cause i couldn't hire him with Eirika's funds, and when I did recruit him with L'Arachel I used him like once? and i didn't even like him to begin with. what a waste of time

Least Favorite Unit: Knoll

At least Rennac can hit enemies and not die

Age: 1,200 (approx)

Home: Darkling Woods (Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stone)

Blood type: Dragon

Likes: Humans, Ephraim

Dislikes: Zombies, bows

If I’m not mistaken, Myrrh is the oldest child in this bracket. (Well, at the start of their respective series. I’m pretty sure Madoka outlives her.) I know she doesn’t really look that old, but if you look closely, you’ll notice that she has dragon wings.

Myrrh grew up in the Darkling Woods among other manakete (dragons), until Grado’s emperor turned evil and started attacking. The manakete sense something going on in Grado, and for some reason, they send the manakete equivalent of a tween to investigate.* This was a bad idea, as she promptly gets captured by Grado. Luckily, she gets rescued by Eirika and Ephraim, and even helps them in battle (once they get her Dragonstone back).

Myrrh is less lonely than most manakete, but she’s still meek and (judging by her rare support conversations) doesn’t make friends easily. To be clear, she’s nice, she’s just…quiet, surrounded by strangers, and operating on a timescale where decades pass like months. But by the end of her journey, she’s started a few friendships and is ready to help defend humanity. Which is good, considering the end of the game…

On a lighter note, what does Tumblr think of Myrrh?

These blooms seemed a great plant association with the aniseed-scented perennial Myrrhis odorata (sweet cicely, myrrh, sweet bracken, sweet chervil, sweet fern, sweet Mary) contrasting both form and colour.

I will never tire of that joke.

Myrrh - I love Myrrh! Her support with Dozla is possibly my favourite comedy support in the game. And I feel so bad for her.

I don’t really have any interest in this banner but Myrrh saying “Uh- Bunny sounds!” Is the most hilariously adorable thing ever.

(Unfortunately, Myrrh has been eliminated for a while.)

*I know Myrrh’s the Great Dragon, which is kind of like a manakete Chosen One, but I don’t feel like that’s enough reason to send a child to investigate an unknown threat. At the very least, send a grown-up first, to see what’s up and whether it’s something that might hurt her.
